Prayer of Confession
Merciful Lord, we must confess to You this day that too often we do not speak the truth. We exaggerate; we say yes when we mean no; we stretch the truth under the pretense of not hurting someone else. Yet we know that we have not been honest. The world invites us to elevate ourselves while You encourage us to be humble. Forgive our failure to live to the standard You set for us, and redeem our words to be honest and true. Hear now our silent confessions…

Our mission is to engage the Peachtree community in God’s work in Atlanta and around the world. We invite you to be a part of the mission ministry through praying, giving, and serving with us. This week, Peachtree mission teams leave to serve vulnerable children through our partners in Central America and Africa. Today, our IRONMEN team travels to Guatemala to serve at the Oasis which is a residential facility that seeks to restore victims of abuse and their families. On Wednesday, July 24, another team departs for Malawi. They will participate in a youth camp for students sponsored by Peachtree members. In addition, they will be a part of the installation of a solar power system for rural schools. Please pray for these teams as they join Christ in the restoration of lives in Guatemala and Malawi.
