As part of our celebration of 10,000 reasons to praise, today we give God thanks for the city of Atlanta. The are many reasons for gratitude for our metro region, including beautiful seasons, a rich heritage, world-class medical institutions, and more. Peachtree has a long-standing tradition of commitment to the city, from our first roots, when founders Ida and C. S. Honour started a ministry to the children of Buckhead in 1910, to our current partnership with the Atlanta Police Department. The Atlanta Police Foundation’s life insurance fund, established through Peachtree, is a vital part of the ongoing work of the Atlanta’s police officers. The fund was established in honor of fallen officer Mark Cross and has helped the families of several fallen officers in the last few years. Join us as we continue to name 10,000 reasons to praise God. Using the enclosed post-it notes to record your praises for our vibrant city and drop in the offering plate during worship.
