Pilsbury Castle Hills T

his aerial image shows the dramatic motte and bailey of Pilsbury Castle Hills. It is unusual in having three outer baileys (fortified outer enclosures) rather than one. This is one of many images that is being used by researchers at Keele University to test the use of drone photography and 3D digital models in for mapping and monitoring erosion at heritage sites.
