Breastfeeding Support Group Mondays, February 4 – 25, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. (Every Monday, please call ahead if it falls on a holiday) Waldo County General Hospital, Women & Infants Unit, Ground Floor 118 Northport Avenue, Belfast Meet other new mothers who are breastfeeding. The group offers support and guidance to breastfeeding mothers from certified lactation consultants and certified lactation counselors. Siblings are welcome. Parkinson’s Support Group Meeting Tuesday, February 5, noon to 2:00 p.m. (First Tuesday of each month) Anderson Inn, Quarry Hill, 30 Community Drive, Camden Kerry Lavigne, MD, FAAD, of Camden Dermatology and Mohs Surgery will discuss research findings that point to a correlation between Parkinson’s and melanoma, a dangerous form of skin cancer. The informal group provides interaction as well as individual assistance when needed. Women wanting more information about breastfeeding are also welcome.
