Eating Better on a Budget Mondays, January 4 – February 1, 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. No class January 18 Virtual class Join SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educators from Knox and Waldo counties for this free four-week class that will give you the skills to shop, cook and eat healthy foods while stretching your SNAP dollars and staying within your grocery budget. There will be recipe demonstrations at each fun and interactive virtual session. All participants will receive a colorful cookbook with 24 healthy, low-cost recipes and nutrition tips! Virtual Breastfeeding Support Group Tuesdays, January 5 – 26, 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Virtual class A support group for breastfeeding families. The informal group provides interaction as well as individual assistance when needed. Women wanting more information about breastfeeding are also welcome. Facilitated by a lactation consultant from OB/GYN. Please call 301-8337 for more information. This group is free but preregistration is required in order to obtain access to virtual access.
