Pen Bay Medical Center, Chapel Room, 6 Glen Cove Drive, Rockport A support group for breastfeeding families. The informal group provides interaction as well as individual assistance when needed.

Breastfeeding Basics Tuesday, May 1, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Dance for Everyone Thursdays, May 3 – 24, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, 33 Chestnut Street, Camden Come experience this four-session dance program designed specifically for people with movement difficulties that combines accessible dance moves and opportunities to explore one’s natural creativity through movement. Dance steps and inspiring music are carefully chosen by instructor Katie Tranzillo so that participants feel comfortable, safe and graceful. Family Caregiver Education & Support Group Thursday, May 3, noon to 1:00 p.m.

Home Health Conference Room, 125 Northport Avenue, Belfast The group meets monthly and is for all family caregivers, including those caring for family members with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Share your wisdom and experiences while learning more about how you can do the job effectively and keep yourself healthy at the same time. The group is facilitated by Margie Spencer-Smith, LCSW. Sibling Class The Pen Bay Medical Center Birthing Center offers a free Sibling Class by appointment only. Children will learn about newborns and how to interact with them. Some safety lessons will be shared along with a discussion of their new role as big brothers and big sisters.

Cardiac Rehab 5K Saturday, June 2, Registration is at 9:30 a.m, walk at 10:00 a.m.

Join Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital for the 7th annual celebration of wellness and success of our cardiac rehab patients. All are welcome and invited to the walk.
