The group offers support and guidance to breastfeeding mothers from certified lactation consultants and certified lactation counselors. Siblings are welcome. Oncology & Infusion Therapy, Waldo County General Hospital 116 Northport Avenue, Ludwig Medical Building, Belfast This group is for cancer patients at any stage – newly diagnosed, currently in treatment and long-term survivors. A cancer diagnosis can be scary and can feel isolating; support groups offer a network of comfort, recognition and guidance. The group is facilitated by Ashley Hoffmann, LSW and Claudia B. Parkinson’s Support Group Meeting Tuesday, September 3, noon to 2:00 p.m.

(First Tuesday of each month) Anderson Inn, Quarry Hill, 30 Community Drive, Camden The support group’s September meeting will begin with a presentation by group member Frank Mundo on what he’s learned about participating in clinical trials for drugs targeting Parkinson’s. Following his remarks, attendees will celebrate the support group’s 15th anniversary. Open to those living with Parkinson’s, their family members and caregivers.
