Hi I’m MCloujohn Padullon, I am 19 years old and a first year college student. I want to share my testimony.

I was born in a Christian family. I was still young when my parents decided to break up. Then, they parted ways, abandoned me and my younger brother in a house where we were supposed to survive. It was a very difficult situation in my life since we were both still children. Sometimes we tried to eat once a day. My grandparents heard about our situation and they brought us to live with them. We just lived a simple lifestyle because our grandparents were both old and not working except by making broomsticks and cadjan out of coconut leaves and selling it for our living.
When I became a teenager, I started mixing with barkada (group of friends) and doing different kinds of vices like smoking, drinking liquors, gambling and internet games. I preferred to be with my barkada than at home or in school. Sometimes I went home at dawn. I did not listen to the advice of my grandparents. I became the burden of my grandparents.
When I was a Grade 11 student, that was when my life turned around. I came to realise one morning when there was a thought that flashed through my mind, “If you continue with the wrongdoings that you're doing, what will be your outcome?” Then, I remembered the Lord, so I cried and repented. When I went to the school, I met a senior student and he shared with me about Jesus and his new found faith. We became friends and he taught me more about Jesus. One day, he invited me to attend the “Encountering God” Retreat. Since I didn’t have money, I prayed to God to provide my financial needs and God answered. I was able to attend the said retreat. During the lectures, I cried and repented of all the sins that I had committed. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and fully put my trust in Him. I surrendered everything to Him - my resentment, my hatred towards my parents, my vices and even my worldly friends.
My senior invited me to the church where he attended, the Foursquare Gospel Church under Pastor Rody Cadayona. There, I found true friends and family. Since then, I have been actively attending the Bible study and discipleship training and started sharing the love of Jesus to my classmates, friends and neighbours. Now, I am a Bible study leader as well as praise and worship team member.
