Setting The Standard Peter Andersen has had a varied career beginning in the television industry in 1981.

Gaining valuable experience in senior roles with regional television and radio stations, Channel Nine, Imparja Television and Austar Pay Television, Peter has experienced the diversity and unique nature of management and employment in Australia. Peter moved to the Vocational Education & Training sector in 2000 as General Manager of regional Group Training Organisation, GTES. Since then Peter has managed and consulted to various GTOs, RTOs and AACs. Peter’s involvement in the VET sector has included time as Board Member and Chair of the Group Training Association of NSW, Board member of Group Training Australia, Chair of the Riverina/Murray WorldSkills Committee and sitting on many local/state/ national committees and forums.

Peter and Janeen established their K2 Recruitment Franchise in 2010 realising that the VET sector lacked a Recruitment and Consultancy Agency that is backed by direct industry experience across all aspects of the industry. With internationally recognised qualifications in recruitment and over 15 years intensive VET sector experience Peter and his team are setting the standard for quality service to the sector.

Janeen Andersen is a qualified Accountant having worked with a number of accounting firms in taxation and general practice. In 2007 Janeen extended her qualifications to include Education. Since then has taught at a number of private and public high schools. Holding a Bachelor of Accountancy, Graduate Diploma in Education and Graduate Certificate in Mathematics combined with years of practical experience means that Janeen has a on the ground understanding of the competencies needed to be successful across education and finance. Passionate about vocational education does not even begin to describe Chuck. Having joined K2 in July 2014 Chuck brings years of compliance, training, management and resource development to K2’s client’s businesses.

Chuck assists RTOs and GTOs across Australia with compliance, specialist administration, audit preparation and rectifications and resource development, setting the standard for service, reliability and quality in this highly competitive industry. In varying roles over the last two decades Tom has worked with hundreds of businesses to help identify what’s important to them. Tom’s ICT Specialisation ensures these businesses have productive, useful and functional systems. With a focus on web integration and security, Tom’s extensive experience in ICT and the VET Sector combine to provide K2 clients with the knowledge that Tom’s projects are fully ASQA compliant and setting a new standard for RTO and GTO web integration.

K2 Recruitment Founders Phil and Mark Kerry established K2 Recruitment & Consulting Pty Ltd, both having had extensive careers within the recruitment industry at both consultant and management levels. Together with a team of highly motivated consultants and associates who have a long term commitment to the success of their clients. In less than 10 years, Phil and his partners built Dunhill Management Services from a two person company to a major national organization with 180 staff in eight offices around the country. He conducted numerous due diligence programs locally and internationally, as well as managing a parallel IPO and trade sale program. Mark Kerry not only knows what it takes to succeed in life, he knows how to be the best in the world, winning a gold medal at the 1980 Olympic Games as a member of the 4x100 medley relay team. After spending 20 years in America, Mark returned home to Sydney in the mid 90s and became a partner at Dunhill. Following the sale of the company, he was managing director of a specialist recruiter before once again joining forces with Phil to co-found K2 Recruitment & Consulting PL.
