PRRD assures bill on BARMM transition already a law

COTABATO CITY — President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has assured key proponents for an extended Bangsamoro government transitional period that the bill is already a law after they met the chief executive on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, in Malacañang Palace. In the meeting, the President said the enabling bill is already a law which means, according to BARMM officials, that he already signed it or he will certainly sign it to be announced in due time. . resident Rodrigo Duterte has brokered an electoral covenant among rival political camps in the Bangsamoro region, prescribing for peaceful, free and honest voting next year particularly in Maguindanao and this city amid perceived pre-election tension.
