On behalf of Aronimink Golf Club’s Board of Directors, membership, and staff, welcome to the 100th Philadelphia PGA Professional Championship. It is a unique honor to be your Section president and serve as host PGA Professional during our centennial year. It is also exciting that Aronimink will host our Section’s most prestigious tournament for the first time, adding to the club’s repuation of providing a championship golf course to some of the most esteemed events in the world, including the PGA Championship, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, U.S. Amaetur, and U.S. Junior Amateur championships. Together with Applebrook Golf Club, this year’s host facilities are a perfect fit for our Section’s historic year. Aronimink offers some of Donald Ross’ boldest work that has stood the test of time, thanks in part to a recent project by Gil Hanse.
