Eat, drink and chill at Mint Restaurant Since its grand opening earlier this year on 17 January 2015, Mint Restaurant has become Karon’s new destination for relaxing in the evenings in a cool and contemporary space with a beautiful view of the Andaman Sea. Mint promises its guests a great place to eat, drink and chill from 4pm onwards. Grace with location. Mint is located just next to Karon Beach road. It takes up the large airy space in the garden on the ground level of the compound Karon Beach Square of Mövenpick Resort and Spa. It’s around halfway down Karon Beach, approximately 500 metres from Patak road roundabout. The venue is decorated in a way that inspires guests to feel at ease whether out with friends, business partners or family. It has been designed to serve any kind of gathering. After spending a whole day swimming and sunbathing on the beach, walk up to Mint and cool yourself down with a chilled cocktail. Mint always has something for everyone. Kids are also welcome as the bar serves smoothies, shakes and mocktails alongside the extensive list of wines and drinks further to the wide range of cocktails.

At nightfall, a DJ will heat up the atmosphere with range of vibrant tunes to ensure you are entertained throughout the night.
In addition to that, you’ll find a broad offering of bistro dishes at Mint. Snacks, soups, salads, a selection of main dishes as well as dessert delights are yours to enjoy after just a very short wait. You may have fragrant Thai style chicken skewers served with Thai sweet chilli sauce and crushed peanuts; seared black pepper tuna carpaccio with pickled ginger, bell pepper, lime and basil oil; or beef tagliata with rocket salad, parmesan shavings, anchovy lemon butter served with potato wedges.

Savour the freshest catches at Savoey Seafood “Savoey” is a Thai word found often in literature and is also used in the royal language; it means “to eat”. For diners who experience Savoey, the meaning of the name of this restaurant may be a little deeper. Probably “to savour” would be a better term. The restaurant was established 35 years ago, back in November 1980 when there were only a few such seafood restaurants available. Savoey’s history is probably closely linked to the history of Patong’s tourism. It has become a landmark for travellers – a “mustvisit” dining destination. Year by year, as it grew in popularity among diners, the restaurant also grew larger in size; from 50 tables or 100 seats, it now features up to 400 seats both in an air-conditioned dining room and outdoors on the large patio. Savoey is famous for seafood and also features Thai cuisine and specialities. If you walk past, you will notice a large-scale display at the front of the restaurant that can be seen from the road. The venue offers a wide variety of fresh seafood. From the display, you

Savoey is located on Thaweewong road at Safari Beach Hotel, within a short walk of Bangla road and the beach. It opens daily from 6:30am till midnight. During high or peak season, a reservation is recommended. The restaurant normally starts to fill up with diners from 7pm onwards.
