Dinning Room Floor Plan
Our concept for this project is shown preliminary program plan. Most of our target demographic have experienced neglect or abuse, as a result aggressive behavior and lower social skills are common among foster children. Instead of a ‘dormitory’ style layout were agression and bullying can fester, our concept is based in clusters of rooms centered around a communal space and linked to each cluster by a bathroom. This layout is an effort enforce socialization at a smaller scale (the room clusters) and expand social groups through links to a larger scale of the whole floor and beyond to the full scale of the building.

2nd Year _Barcode Surface Project
Augmented Surface
This project is about the study of programming of movement through space using parametric profiles and point manipulation. To start off, we transfer the phone number into barcode and from that transfer the barcode in to the manipulation of points, lines, and movement to create an interesting aperture model. Then we go to the next abstract state which is simplifying complex (curved) surfaces. The last stage was an exercise to study the convergence between a structure and a “landscape.” Within the structure a strong influence of ‘aperture’

3rd Year _Rebranding YSL
Yves Saint Laurent is famous for his female tuxedo called “Le Smoking to make the women appear very attractive and seductive. Based on his previous designs and my rebranding, I want my design to incorporate the following ideas. The contrast between materials, luxury aprerance. I want to combin a bold, masculine design with a feminine touch. Different light sources and light to bring attention to product being sold. Material Board

In Project 2 the study emphasized comprehending client needs and the reality of who the inhabitants’ suburban areas are. Base on a generic overview of the assigned client, we had to conceptualize a design that supports their daily habits, activities, and schedules. My assigned client was a single woman who enjoys literature and bicycling, with a priority to have a space for bike storage to protect it from the weather. She has a Miniature Schnauzer and hosts her book club once a month. Based off of the information I was given, my design approach to satisfy the client's needs were to plan the living room and dining room to share the same space, by overlapping program my strategy supported the use of such a large room. This space accommodates her club activities and within her daily life as a 'play-space' for her dog with she works in the office. When confronting her needs of privacy, the bedroom location is isolated from the public area by the office and the hallway. Located on the west side of the house, the bedroom maintains calming views of the food forest near her property.

In this project we were challenged with capturing a moment or situation observed from a sitcom episode, then redeveloped the environmental conditions and respond to the situation via an 'architectural manifestation' specifically considering the user reaction/utilization and how it affects how they occupy the space. The episode I chose was “How I Met Your Mother episode 1, season 1. The situation of this episode is that, Ted, the main character tries to propose in a small kitchen. The intention behind my approach was to remodel the kitchen so that it can accommodate circulation easier and allow for two or more to comfortably utilize the area.
