The South Physics observatory, located on the roof of the South Physics building, hosts free public star parties every clear Wednesday at dusk. With more than 14 telescopes, the observatory serves as a classroom for the University’s Observational Astronomy courses, weekly public star parties, as well as for scout, student & youth group tours.
