Hello Superheroes of Service! Welcome to the month of September, and thanks so much for all of you who work so hard and help make this club what it is! There’s so much to do this month, including preparing for our annual Region Training Conference on September 30th, a divisional weekend event that takes place at camp! As of now, we’ve accomplished over 3000 hours of service and are succeeding in our funds for our projects- PTP and MNT. That means we can always keep pushing to continue making a positive impact on others’ lives! For this month, the Trailblazer Race, Viva Calle SJ, and many more events are coming, so be sure to check them out and sign up for them. To continue boosting our charity funds, our club is hosting a Frozen Ninja fundraiser really soon (yes, it’s rolled ice cream!!), so please attend! Any person who goes helps make an even bigger impact on children around the world. Additionally, October is very close, and you know what that means-FRN!! Be sure to get your spirit gear orders in and rock that Key Club dedication at Six Flags! Fall Rally North is definitely a super fun event that you all should consider attending at least once in your high school career; just think about a day full of spirit, cheers, and spending quality time with others in this Ohana on rides and food. :) Let’s keep going, and once again thanks for all that you guys do through service and positivity! We’ve already accomplished a lot, and I hope to see you around in the very near future. :) Diana Quach PHHS Key Club Treasurer 2017-2018

Mini Club Day
event recap
Mini Club Day was absolute madness. It was so loud as multiple clubs were advertising and hundreds of people were scrambling around to sign up for clubs. At the time, I was stationed at the Key Club booth and was in charge of making bubbles. The Key Club booth became so crowded that it became difficult to understand what was going on. However, it made me happy to see that a lot of people, especially freshmen, were signing up for Key Club. Overall, mini club day was a very good experience and felt different from last year when I was a freshmen signing up for Key Club.

August DCM
event recap
In the past month, I had the opportunity to attend the August DCM organized by Milpitas Key Club. Before officially starting the meeting, we had a couple of fun icebreakers, which proved to be a great way to meet new Key Clubbers from other schools in our division. It was very heartwarming to see everyone getting along so well and laughing so much. Afterwards, the club representatives from each school stated their club updates and discussed advertising ideas for the upcoming mini club day to help smaller Key Clubs in the division. It was really sweet to see Key Clubbers from different schools helping each other out, and I would definitely be willing to attend the next DCM! eileen thai

from the
Media Director Hello Superheroes! Thank you so much for reading all the way up to here! I hope you enjoyed the September issue of Arc Reactor. I decided to make this newsletter maroon themed because our club mascot is Iron Man! I apologize for not changing the layout of the newsletter a lot this month; I have been dying slowly in Calc :c. Nevertheless, I hope that you enjoyed this newsletter and will continue to read it in the future! Ahhh it’s September already! I hope everyone is doing ok in school so far and getting a decent amount of sleep. To all you seniors, college app season is almost upon us! Good luck and I know that you all are capable of amazing things! To all of you juniors, good luck on the SAT/ACT and all of your classes! It’s a tough year, but you can do it! To all the underclassmen, have fun and relax while you can! As always, if you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to email (stephaniez2000@gmail.com) or Facebook message me! I am always happy to reply.
Have a nice day! Stephanie Zhu PHHS Key Club Media Director 2017-2018
