Statement
As your Senator, I oppose the Governor’s continued abuse of his emergency powers, and sponsored legislation to curb those powers and prohibit discrimination based on vaccination status.
Property crimes and car thefts have skyrocketed, jeopardizing public safety. I supported legislation to put more law enforcement back on the streets. Despite billions of your taxes spent on homelessness, the problem only gets worse. A proposal I fought for would require drug and alcohol treatment, in addition to mental health support.
We don’t need increased fees on car registrations or driver’s licenses to fund transportation. We can do that with the money you already send to Olympia. With all the unexpected revenue we can help seniors, the disabled, and others on fixed incomes get a break on out-of-control property, sales and gas taxes - policies I’ve either sponsored or supported.
I continue to fight against constant efforts to limit our Second Amendment rights and advocate that Olympia spend your tax dollars more wisely. I ask for your continued support to fight for your rights and prosperity, and against more taxes and endless government growth. Endorsed by Law Enforcement and many mayors and city councilmembers in the district.

Statement
Governor Inslee and the Department of Health appear to have misled you about Covid data. See www.DrCliffordForSenate.com for video about the inaccurate data used to justify mandates. The Democrats are happy, this allows them to consolidate power. The Republicans have evidence but are shamefully silent.
Public records requests by me and others show: Due to irresponsible data collection techniques all Washington State Covid data since March 2020 is corrupted and unsuitable to be used for public policy; for 95% of cases it is unknown if they are true or false positives; different counties used different test sensitivities leading to incomparable inaccurate data; it is unknown how many Covid deaths there are because WADOH has been caught multiple times counting homicides, suicides, and overdoses as Covid deaths; in King County most cases, hospitalizations and deaths are vaccinated people, while children who are vaccinated are more likely to get Covid; and historical data is being altered constantly without any apparent change control.
The science and data used to justify the ongoing emergency do not exist. Ending the State of Emergency, the superstitious mandates, and reforming the law so that future Governors cannot abuse you needs to be priority one for your Senator.

Statement
I’m running for the State Senate as a moderate independent because extremism and partisanship is out of control in our political system, too many politicians in both parties have let us down, and voters deserve more choices.
Our communities face real challenges. State revenues are up; we don’t need to raise taxes. But schools are still dependent on local levies. Our school funding system is unstable and unfair. Crime rates are increasing while police, prosecutors, jails and courts are underfunded. And there are major gaps in our transportation system.
Too many politicians in both parties, including our current State Senator, are not focused on solving these problems. Instead, they waste time with extreme policies and partisan political games.
I have lived in south King and eastern Pierce counties most of my life. This is where my wife, Ann, and I raised our kids, and I have represented these communities in state and county government. We deserve better than the partisanship and divisiveness we see today. I know we can do better if we elect people focused on common sense problem solving. As a moderate independent, that is what I will focus on in Olympia. I would appreciate your vote!

I run a small family commercial construction business and understand the challenges all of us face trying to make a living. Our state government continues to raise taxes on our businesses, our homes and our employment despite a significant budget surplus. My background and business give me the unique perspective of viewing our public policy through both blue and white-collar perspectives. I believe this is critical for our district.

Statement
Communication and community engagement are the qualities our district representative needs. I will make myself available, easy to contact and responsive to your concerns. As the minority party in Olympia, we need to be uncompromisingly opposed to the Seattle politics that are creeping into our neighborhoods. I will support and defend the Constitution, our children, law enforcement, the second amendment and personal freedom.
I have lived in Washington since 1998 and have seen the decline of our great state. It’s time for change in Olympia. It is time for representation that understands the struggles of the average person and family.

Statement
I’m running for reelection to continue fighting for what matters in our community—safer neighborhoods, better schools and a stronger economy. I’ve helped block supervised drug injection sites, gotten schools to reopen sooner, and secured funding for a sales tax refund program for the first time in the state’s history.
Unfortunately, recent legislation is making our state less safe and less affordable. I’m endorsed by police, parent and business groups because I’ve spent my time in the Legislature fighting against those unwise policies and because I will always continue to advocate for safer neighborhoods, better schools and a stronger economy.
