1. Architects, as I perceive, are a messenger between people and the environment. 2. We have the power not just to build, but to unbuild. We have the power to create a better quality of life for people. 3. 4. Simplicity is key. 5. 6. Simplicity does not mean minimal. Simplicity means ‘not more than necessary and is sufficient’. 7. 8. “Life is occupied in both perpetuating itself and in surpassing itself; if all it does is maintain itself, then living is only not dying.” - Simone de Beauvoir 9. 10. We need to find the balance between maintaining ourselves and surpassing ourselves. Maintaining ourselves means creating a workable existence while surpassing ourselves means creating a meaningful existence. 11. 12. I personally think the society around the world is already so complicated, you don’t need to add more complexity to your design. Build humbly. 13. 14. Always make room for the living, not things. 15. 16. Architecture should always tell a story. It should convey time, place, people using the space. 17. Always study and know the local materials, their cost, performance, techniques, and the energy used to make the material, transport the materials. 18. The last point I want to emphasize is to learn while performing. Learn when you get the chance to. Learn something new every day. 19. 20. Be honest, truthful about your design and material usage and costs and your own mistakes. 21. Pay attention to details, belief in your own conviction. 22. In the end, enjoy designing and respect other people’s design.

Academic Project 2019 Software- Revit, Adobe Photoshop
Divergence is a site-specific project. The project involves changing the traffic flow not only for the vehicles and public transportation but also for the pedestrian. The urban context around the site is surrounded by important historical pieces, from the Strahov Monastery to the fortification. The site lies in a significantly valuable piece of land in Prague. The path connecting the two provides a car-free, environmental friendly route towards the wall that the visitors can rest, run, ride a bike and exercise. Divergence affects the perspective of the user visiting the space. From the separation wall between the site and the school to the slipped in entrance from the western facade, sharp cuts are made in different parts of the sites to create a slight shift in angles of each element which gives a different perspective wherever you stand.

After deriving axes from the lines, two volumes were created and is pushed up and down. One’s private, other’s public. One’s for dwelling, other’s for commuting.
concept
The form of the one volume lead the public towards the park, connecting to the fortification wall.
6
Not only does one dwell on the site, but also provides efficient movement around the area, as well as reflecting on the history of Prague.

Landscape Festival Prague 2018 Software - AutoCad , SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop
concept
The installation signifies relationship between nature and human, how human brings chaos to the living world, and affect the way trees live. With concept ‘human / nature’, the contrast between trees and people is being represented by the connections between trees on the island underground to above-ground using tree trunks, and the way people move within the site.

The shift is that the underground space is used as exhibition space, with a limited amount of natural light coming in, to create a dramatic effect.
concept
Three volumes are arranged in balance with the context to create public spaces. The three units also lead in a series of alternate natural light and dark.

The workshop helps to explore how a major historic site can be used in current generations, after being left abandoned for years. We brainstormed ideas to utilize the space within the given budget provided by the government.
Real life budgeting and situation was reminded when designing other architecture projects since we tend to overlook it in architecture schools.
