SpongeBob has been in my life for 25 years. When I was a kid, watching his adventures on TV always made me laugh my worries away. He was in my spin class in LA (Stephen Hillenburg can confirm), and now I’ve had the biggest pleasure yet in exploring his nonsensical world with the students at PMT Conservatory.
These 54 young artists have worked together to bring all the hijinks and hilarity of the cartoon to the stage and every one of them has risen to the challenges, found their confidence, and their joy in our underwater world. So suit up, you’re about to see familiar faces and familiar characters in a brand new Bikini Bottom day!
Enjoy the show!

The foundation of PMT’s mission is built on arts education, development, mentorship, and providing performance opportunities for young artists. Students at PMT Conservatory receive a truly unique experience to use their training in fully produced productions of their own in which they take on roles as performers and technical theater crew. Whether a student wishes to pursue a career in the arts or another field, Young Artist Productions provide an opportunity for growth and building transferable life skills in our future leaders. Patrons attending Young Artist Productions will be a part of it all as they experience and enjoy the best of our region’s talented youth in professional-quality entertainment!
