EFL Day of Action

The EFL’s Day of Action is where all Clubs come together to showcase their contributions to their local communities. Over the last week, in the heart of the community we have showcased and raised awareness of our programmes. Including Walking Football, Running Groups, School Sports, NCS and Sporting Memories to name but a few! We were fortunate to welcome Town favourite Jack Emmett and also Harry Gator to our shop on Wednesday, meeting fans and members of the public.

Community ‘Pop up’ Shop in full swing

Our pop up shop in the centre of Harrogate has enjoyed huge success, celebrating the work undertaken in the local community. We have a fantastic community corner, where you can see what programmes we are delivering and how we are helping local people. Along with the Foundation, the Club have utilised the space to sell a brilliant range of replica shirts and merchandise.

Community Auction

Watch out for our Community Auction that will conclude today. Plenty of amazing prizes, with all funds contributing directly to the Community Foundation. Lots include; • Matchworn Harrogate Town shirts • Signed merchandise • Goodies and raffle items

Commercial Street – Charity partner

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we will be working with retailers on Commercial Street (in the centre of town), becoming their charity of the year. Commercial Street is filled with over 20 independent retailers, who meet yearly and determine a local cause to fundraise for. Each retailer will be engaged with the Foundation and help to raise awareness of the work that we undertake in the local area. Some of the action planned are as follows;

Wembley shop window displays

Each retailer will be given a goody bag with bunting, encouraging them to decorate their shop in the build up to Wembley. On a Matchday (this season and next)Retailers will be encouraged to be “Proud to be Town” and decorate shops in the yellow/black colours whenever there is a HTAFC home game, further adding to the buzz on a matchday.

Harry Gator Sponsor required

Harry can’t wait to see the fans back at The EnviroVent Stadium when Covid restrictions are eased and is looking for a new sponsor. The sponsor’s name and logo will feature prominently on Harry’s body and will be seen by thousands. Not only will he be at every Town home match once the fans return, but will be involved in a host of Harrogate Town and Community Foundation events around the district. Harry is also available to attend the sponsor’s own events such as product launches and sales conferences. Harry Gator loves the limelight. Adding colour and interest to websites and adverts.
