O
ver the last number of weeks, we have been overwhelmed by the work God has been doing at the Fearless Men’s Conferences. Thousands of men have declared out loud a fear that they are trusting God to help them overcome in the days ahead. This has been some of the most powerful and life transforming work I’ve seen God accomplish at Promise Keepers Canada events. Fear is holding men back. They fear failure and rejection and many other things. We are witnessing God’s Spirit calling men to fear only Him, and we are witnessing men’s lives being changed as a result.
We believe that when men fear God alone, everyone wins. That is why we continue to focus our efforts on helping men to be disciples of Jesus. In the coming year, by God’s grace, Promise Keepers Canada will: • Ignite men’s hearts to be fearless through our National Men’s Conferences held in cities across the country. • Continue to strengthen men through our Men of Integrity devotional, Seven magazine, and podcast • Introduce a new online video magazine that is designed to help young men grow in becoming the man God has designed them to be. • Introduce a new discipleship series focused on assisting the local church to effectively disciple men.

F
ear often plays a greater role than we realize. The fear of the unknown; fear for our jobs, our relationships, leaves many of us anxious. The fear of failure leaves other men stuck rather than pursuing the life God has called them to. Far too many men are either held back by fear or afraid of nothing and leaving a trail of damage in the lives around them.

“I had the privilege of participating in the Promise Keepers (PK) Toronto West Conference this past weekend and can say that it was one of the best conferences I have ever attended. All of the men I brought were challenged and encouraged. God saved (radically gripped) two of the unsaved men that came with me.” “What an awesome night! My 13 year old son accepted The Lord tonight at PK!!!! Very, very proud father” God worked in me and got a hold of my fear in a way I never expected. It made me weep when I realized that other men wanted freed from the same fear I had. Looking forward to next year already. My husband looks forward to this weekend every year!! (And I’m pretty sure it’s because of this conference and not that it’s his mother-in-law’s birthday ;)

Blueprint for men: small group study series Available exclusively at promisekeepers.ca Men are bombarded with messages every day about what is important and how they need to live their lives. What is often lost is the blueprint God has given for a man’s life. Blueprint for Men is a uniquely Canadian Discipleship Series for men from the ministry of Promise Keepers Canada. Our nation needs men to be the men God has designed us to be. Families, workplaces, churches, and communities are waiting and looking for men to have a Godly impact. The need for the discipleship of men is great, and this series is designed to help men move towards being those men. It is a journey of nine studies that will uncover God’s blueprint for a man’s life.

Podcast The first episode of This Is Me TV has gone live. This is a new online video magazine designed for young men. Pray that God would use this tool to reveal Himself to young men who do not have a relationship with Christ, and that it would encourage and strengthen those who know Christ, to grow deeper in Him.
Now released twice a month, the official Promise Keepers Canada podcast features exclusive interviews with insightful voices like: John and Sam Eldredge, The Skit Guys, Gary Thomas, Max Lucado, Caleb Bislow and Mark Hughes. Covering a wide range of topics, the podcast will help equip you to be a godly man in today’s society.

prayer Praise God for • The numerous testimonies of how God has used our resources and what God has done during workshops and the fall series of “Fearless” conferences. • At all four of the recent Fearless conferences, many men stood and renounced their biggest fear out loud, so that they could leave the event and be fearless for the Lord. This was a very powerful moment. • Give God thanks for providing dedicated volunteers who served with passion and excellence at the events. • Praise God for equipping the conference speakers with divine messages delivered at the four Fall conferences.

Please Pray • For the year-end financial needs of the ministry to be met in the month of December. • Strength and focus as we transition from hosting the Fall events, to working on details for the eight conferences scheduled for the beginning of February to late April. • For God to raise up more local churches in 2015 who are committed to the effective discipleship of men. • The January issue of SEVEN will focus on what it means to have a Godly marriage. Pray that the articles will give hope to men struggling in their relationships, and will also challenge men in healthy relationships to become even better husbands and fathers.
Valentine’s Day The
MARRIAGE Promise Making Good Marriages Even Better
Over the past several years we have created devotionals for churches to give their men on Father’s Day and to couples on Valentine’s Day. This past year over 50,000 devotionals were distributed in partnership with local churches. This Valentine’s Day we will be distributing a new couple’s devotional. The theme of the devotional is The Marriage Promise and features devotions from Craig and Amy Groeschel, Gary Thomas, Robbie Symons and PK Canada.
