Exterior brick replaced with Hardi plank siding, new front doors and new shingle roofing installed.

The project scope included 38 residen al rooms, a new chapel, library, main living room, commercial kitchen, and administra ve office spaces. In addi on, this project included systems and equipment to meet the special needs of the elderly, such as nurse call systems and emergency power.

This project was completed with the CM at Risk delivery method.

Included in the renova on was a new mezzanine level, four jail cells, locker rooms, communica ons center, command center, and briefing rooms.

Also included were installa ons of a new transformer and emergency generator, custom windows including bullet resistant, spray foam exterior insula on, ADA compliant sidewalks and entrances, epoxy flooring, new landscaping and site retaining walls.

Ground-up construction of a LEED Silver, 44,560 SF, 4-story with basement, 49-bed skilled nursing facility.

This facility is the first in Maryland meeting all requirements to be called a “Greenhouse” facility.

Each floor has 10 “apartments” with individual handicapped accessible bathrooms and lift systems.

Each floor also has a commercial kitchen, as well as dining and living rooms, with built-in book cases and electric fireplaces. The facility also houses a spa/salon on each floor, and a physical therapy room.

One half of the basement level is fit-out as offices for GEDCO; the nursing home operated by Catholic Charities.

23,000 SF renova on including upgrades to the HVAC system, new CCMS building controls ed into BAS system for building energy management, upgrades to ligh ng and electrical service, and a new sprinkler system.

The ground floor slab on grade was lowered 8” requiring underpinning of 80% of the exterior founda ons. Mechanical room was expanded below por ons of the 1st floor slab on grade, an exis ng pit was infilled with steel and slab on deck to make the 1st floor slab one eleva on.

New windows and doors, modifica ons to the limestone façade to widen a ground floor entrance, and architectural retaining walls were added.

The CSU Library HVAC project was a phased renova on of an occupied 81,000 SF library facility.

The project involved major mechanical and electrical infrastructure upgrades that included a new roof top packaged unit, new air handling units in the basement, connec ons to the campus chilled and hot water hea ng loops, DDC controls, and sprinkler system.

This project was procured through the state Universi es system and all state requirements such as prevailing wage rates, MBE goals and other protocols were met by the P‐C team.

This project is approximately 30,000 sf of new office, assembly and transient lodging space.

The work specifically included demolition, concrete, structural shoring of building facades designed to remain, sediment and erosion control measures, minimal landscaping, paving, curbs, gutters, new masonry walls, interior architectural woodwork, metal roofing, roof pavers, aluminum windows and curtain wall, drywall partitions, finishes, wood trim and new mechanical, electrical and sprinkler systems.

This project was the 3,500 SF conversion of an exis ng pharmacy into office spaces.

The conversion required complete demoli on of an exis ng pharmacy that was situated directly above the Shock Trauma Triage area.

This required extensive infec on control measures in Triage in order to remove the dumbwaiter, it’s enclosure walls, and to infill the floor opening with structural steel and concrete.

This project had mul ple phases in order to keep adjacent offices and medical support areas accessible.

Work consisted of custom wood veneer bookcases, children’s reading area, and reference desk. Also provided new linoleum floors with custom patterns, paint, lighting, doors, frames and hardware, custom aluminum storefront entrance, HVAC, fire protection, fire alarm, drywall and ACT. Power, data/voice and audio visual cabling and terminations were provided.

Asbestos abatement and demolition activities were performed prior to the start of construction.
