BUSINESS
A new initiative from Brighton Chamber, Brighton & Hove City Council (BHCC) and Brighton & Hove Economic Partnership has been developed to give Brighton area businesses exper t support through the EU Transition and beyond. It will run for six months and is open to anyone doing business in the Brighton area. From Brighton with Love includes a series of expert panel events, Your Questions Answered sessions, and Export Leaders peer network sessions. The programme focuses on topics including exporting and importing, supply chains, employment issues post-Brexit and more. It is practical support, delivered by people who are already doing it well. “We hope as many businesses as possible take advantage of the programme. There’s nothing more motivating than sharing good and bad experiences and learning from peers. It’s been a tough year so this will provide
some positive and practical ways in which we can globally launch the wide range of business potential in the city,” says Sarah Springford, chief executive at Brighton Chamber. Cllr Marianna Ebel, chair of BHCC’s Brexit working group adds: “Preparing for the changes of a post-Brexit world is key if we are to capitalise on our city’s strengths, remain resilient and build positive connections with our EU neighbours. “Brighton & Hove is renowned for its innovative and agile businesses and this series of events is tailored to help navigate the challenges and opportunities that a new UK/EU relationship will bring”. Events are open to all and free to attend.
