Jump Back Ball is the annual benefit hosted by Playhouse Square’s official young professionals group, Partners. Our YPs devote their time, talent, and treasures to supporting Playhouse Square’s not-for-profit mission. The funds from tonight’s event specifically help our community engagement and education programs. Three programs that especially pull on Partners members’ heartstrings are:
Disney Musicals in Schools, which provides a 17-week musical theater residency program at elementary schools in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties with a student poverty level of 50% or higher.
Sensory Friendly Programming, an initiative dedicated to increasing access and inclusion for those with sensory needs, including persons with autism.
Dazzle Awards, which inspires and honors excellence in high school musical theater and recognizes the importance of musical theater and arts education within Northeast Ohio. Modeled after the Tony Awards, the winners of Best Actor and Best Actress categories have the opportunity to compete in a national competition in New York City.
THANK
YOU FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
