Annual Convention Retrospective Around 400 IPLOCA members and guests had the pleasure

This year, the programme incorporated three days of Open General Meetings. An excellent line-up of speakers included the Former Haisla First Nation Chief as opening speaker, who talked about the First Nations development in British Columbia, and the former activist and past President of Greenpeace Canada, expressing his views regarding climate change and global warming. Further information on all the guest speakers can be found on page 27. The week also featured numerous social functions and cultural tours. The cultural programme offered delegates the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful city of Vancouver, such as Stanley Park and Granville Island with its popular market; the charming marine life right on the doorstep
