Happy New Year Division 38! I can’t believe there is only about two months left until the end of my term! On January 2nd, there was an Election Rally held to elect the new Lieutenant Governor for our Division. Thank you so much to Black Hills, Capital, North Thurston, and Timberline for sending in delegates to the election. With that being said, please welcome Thu Nguyen from Capital High School who was elected as the Lieutenant Governor for Division 38 for the 2016-2017 year. Also, if your club hasn’t done so already, please start to register for District Convention, if you club is planning to attend. Deadline to register is February 1st. In the next few days, I will be posting a google survey for ordering shirts. ALL District Convention attendees are required to buy a divisional shirt. Lastly, thank you to all those who attended my DCM. I look forward to see you all. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me! In love and service,

Sharon Lee Lieutenant Governor of Division 38 Pacific Northwest District Key Club International

Hey Key Clubbers! I'm very excited to be serving division 38 next year as the 2016-2017 LTG. My name is Thu Nguyen and I am a junior at Capital high school! I've been in key club since my freshmen year and in these past 3 years it has completely changed my life. On my free time, I love volunteering and playing tennis. I also really like food and long naps. I can't wait to meet all of you. I will make sure to give it my all as your next LTG. GO STARS!!!

In love and service, Thu Nguyen

Bright, shining service Members needed: 3-5+ Take an afternoon to brighten the classrooms and corridors of your campus…literally. Gather a few members of your Key Club and equip them with glass cleaner, towels and everything else needed to cut through the grime on the windows.

School supply drive Members needed: 1+ Having all the necessary supplies to complete the year is vital to the academic success of every student. However, many young students in our communities go without each year. To address this, your club can host a drive to collect new or gently used supplies at the beginning and end of each school year. Supplies can then be donated in bulk to a local elementary school, since they’ll know how to distribute them best.
