The 40m Benetti superyacht Chrimi III delivered OCEAN Independence has today announced the delivery of the 40 metre superyacht Chrimi III, the seventh hull in the Benetti Classic Supreme series. The project was sold to her new owner by OCEAN Independence a year ago, with OCEAN Management supervising her build.

The semi-custom Benetti range features exterior design from the renowned Stefano Righini, with interior design by Pulina DNA. On board she accommodates guests over five generous cabins, including a full beam ownerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s suite on the main deck in addition to two twin and two VIP cabins on the lower deck.

16th Azimut Benetti Yachtmaster Italy a success Over 160 participants attended the Italian stage of the 16th Azimut Benetti Yachtmaster event, held from 3 to 6 february at the Tombolo Talasso Resort in Tuscany. The event was the second in a series of three (the first having taken place in Asia in November 2015) Yachtmaster conferences with the aim to increase the company and its partner’s communication on a global scale.

Alessandro Gallifuoco commented: “We believe that this format, continually refined by the participants’ feedback, is a winning format. Тони Старк выходит в море Не просто назвать яхту в честь любимого героя кино и комиксов, а сделать ее фантазией на тему «какой могла бы быть лодка моего персонажа». Это история нового проекта верфи Benetti – Iron Man. Текст – Мария Мошкина. Фото – Benetti Линейка скоростных водоизмещающих яхт Benetti достойна отдельного рассказа. Хотя бы потому, что эти яхты совмещают в себе функции двух противоположностей: тяжелых водоизмещающих и спортивных глиссирующих. Iron Man стала первой «младшей» представительницей линейки Fast Displacement (в нее входят модели Vivace 125 и Veloce 140), переданной владельцу. Над внешним обликом яхт Vivace работал дизайнер концерна Azimut-Benetti Стефано Ригини. Этот человек, как мастер эпохи Возрождения, таинственен и постоянен в своей гениальности. С каждым новым его успехом кажется, что все – дальше идти уже некуда, но Ригини продолжает работать и выдает очередной ошеломляющий проект. При этом он не раздает интервью, почти никогда не присутствует на вручении премий, мало кто знает, как он выглядит. Как любой талантливый и увлеченный человек, он предпочитает заявлять миру о себе результатами, а не словами. И Vivace 125 очередное тому доказательство. Не зря ее назвали «полной жизни» (что значит в переводе с итальянского vivace). Но вернемся к универсальному корпусу Vivace 125. Яхта сконструирована из легкого стеклопластика нового поколения и карбона. Благодаря использованию этих материалов она на 40% легче, чем яхты аналогичной конфигурации. Конструкция носовой части была позаимствована у яхт-вэйвпирсеров: нос «прокалывает» волну, обеспечивая плавность хода и экономию топлива. На низких оборотах Vivace 125 ведет себя как классический тихоход, а стоит чуть прибавить скорости, и яхта задирает нос и выходит на глиссирование. The Italian conference of the Azimut|BenettiYachtmaster was a rounding success, with more than 160 participants: captains, surveyors, owner’s representatives and sponsors. The Italian stage of the 16th edition of the Azimut|BenettiYachtmaster, hosted in the splendid surroundings of the Tombolo Talasso Resort, at Marina di Castagneto in Tuscany from February 3rd to the 6th, is the second (the first was in Hong Kong in November 2015 and the and the third will take place in the U.S. in April 2016) and largest of the three events that compose the “Azimut|BenettiYachtMaster-Superyachting On A Global Scale” project, with the objective of keeping the Benetti community in continuous communication for the entire year. The opening presentation was held by Alessandro Gallifuoco, Benetti’sQuality and After Sales Manager, to a numerous and attentive audience, and underlined Benetti’s important commercial returns over the past year. To the existing fleet of 192 yachts we must add the 44 presently building, including 14 Class Line, 30 Custom and four Gigayachts over 90m. If we were to put them all in a line, the Benetti yachts would cover the incredible distance of 7,385 meters! World-wide strengthening of Benetti and After Sales The above results and the numerous requests for new vessels are a consequence of Benetti’s close attention to the post-sales service network, with increased efficiency and IT. Benetti is also increasing their commitment to relationships with their partners, Benetti Service Partner, in different countries. The presence of trusted suppliers allows captains to deal with familiar faces, increasing trust and therefore service quality. Workshop There were four fundamental themes to the workshops. Coordinated by aand paneled by experts, the groups of participants were able to participate in rotation in all the different workshops. The four themes dealt with the fundamental issues of insurance, taxes, new environmental protection standards and new challenges in crew management. Benetti yacht captains also intervened, illustrating their experience in the various discussions. The emphasis of YM16 is increasingly concentrated on the captain’s duties, in confronting and communicating experience. The captain’s valuable on-board knowledge is second to none and a better understanding of their duties allows Benetti to adopt ever more useful instruments to facilitate these duties. This creates a virtuous cycle without peer. This year’s workshops were accompanied by the customary social activities: the evening gala dinner, this year dancing to the “Roaring ’20s”, and team-building with an exciting go-kart race. Satisfaction was expressed by Azimut|Benetti for the growth in importance and interest in the event, year after year, and not only for the Benetti yacht captains. Alessandro Gallifuoco commented: “We believe that this format, continually refined by the participants’ feedback, is a winning format. What is especially pleasing for us is that there are always more and more professionals interested in talking to our variegated audience with their differing roles in the industry; this is an interesting aspect that can only increase the overall merit of the project. International participation also increased, with 25 nations present, and everyone brought their own viewpoint.” Excellent results in prevision of the April edition in Miami. “We hope that the success of every edition will be amplified in the successive event, and obviously we try to make each one better than the previous.” This year’s Azimut|BenettiYachtMaster innovations include maintaining the community in constant communication throughout the year by means of dedicated workshops and training sessions. Minor events will be held out of season, from September until May, to guarantee continuity; they will be associated with technical sessions and meetings in the yards. Fundamental to the success of the event were the contributions of the event’s partners and sponsors: AWLGrip, Boero, Jotun, Peninsula Petroleum, Peters&MaySuperyachts, Team Italia, Versilia Marine Service, Viraver, CGT, CMC Marine, Fraser Yachts, Lusben, MTN, Naiad Dynamics, Nextworks, Rina Group, Valletta Superyachts and Yachtique. Chrimi III, like the previous models, has two hot tubs, one on the foredeck and another on the sun deck. There are also two al fresco dining areas, one on the sun deck and one on the upper deck aft. The folding transom comes with umbrellas and sunloungers for relaxing in the shade after a swim in the sea. It also reveals the tender garage that has space for a Williams Diesel-jet tender and two jet ski’s. Exterior designer Stefano Righini added in large full height windows that bring light into the interior and complement the look of the exterior.

The Classic Supreme yachts are ﬁtted with Benetti Exclusive Sea Technology (BEST), which combines the on-board electronics and entertainment into one integrated system. Twin MTU 2000 M72 main engines give Chrimi III a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. The ﬁrst Classic Supreme 132, Petrus II, was launched in 2012 and Italian builder Benetti has continued to deliver the semi-custom yachts at an impressive rate. The largest yacht from the Italian shipyard Benetti, the 92m Lionheart, is undergoing sea trials in Livorno, Italy. She is built for a repeated Benetti client, previous owner of the 63m Lioness V built in 2006. Lionheart is built in steel with an aluminum superstructure. She is supposed to reach a speed of 15.5 knots and cruise at 15 knots.

Larry Bean March 31, 2016 The Italian boatbuilder Benetti (benettiyachts.it) has enlisted the Los Angeles–based automotive designer Henrik Fisker (henrikfisker.org) to craft a sporty 164-foot yacht series. Fisker’s credits include the BMW Z8, Aston Martin’s DB9 and V8 Vantage, and his now-defunct namesake brand’s Karma hybrid. The yacht will be built partly of carbon fiber and reclaimed wood (in the interior) and will be equipped with solar panels that are integrated into the exterior design. Each of the major cabins will be designed to optimize views of the ocean. Amenities will include a beach club, a spa, several bars, a pool, multiple sunbathing areas, and sleeping quarters for 12 guests. Benetti has not announced a price or production date. Azimut Benetti held a 2016 YachtMaster conference in Italy in February and more than 160 skippers, surveyors and other industry professionals attended workshops on various topics. The event took place in Tuscany at the Tombolo Talasso Resort at Marina di Castagneto. The first of three conferences was held in Hong Kong in November, and the third will take place in the United States in April. The Italian event was the largest of the three, which comprise the “Azimut|Benetti YachtMaster — Superyachting On A Global Scale” project, which has the objective of keeping the Benetti community in continuous communication for the entire year. The opening presentation was made by Alessandro Gallifuoco, Benetti’s quality and after sales manager, and it underlined Benetti’s important commercial returns during the past year. To the existing fleet of 192 yachts the company is adding 44 that are under construction. Those include 14 Class Line, 30 Custom and four gigayachts larger than 295 feet, the company said. The four workshop themes were insurance; taxes; new environmental protection standards; and new challenges in crew management. Click here for more.
