Si chiama VICA il nuovo 50 metri del cantiere italiano Benetti, il primo costruito in doppia tecnologia: lo scafo è in vetroresina, mentre la sovrastruttura è in alluminio. È una barca decisamente Mediterranea, Alessandro de Angelis dagli ampi spazi esterni – con grandi ponti a poppa e a prora dell’upper (http://www.chroniclesfromitaly.com/author/admin/) deck che si aggiungono a un enorme sundeck.

Il profilo esterno si caratterizza per le grandi vetrature a tutta altezza “all’ultima moda” che – oltre a inondare gli interni di luce naturale – ne snelliscono la linea. Una particolarità di VICA che la rende unica è quella di avere tre portelli apribili lungo lo scafo. Il primo è laterale a poppa e serve per l’alaggio e il varo del tender e si aggiunge a quello che funge da spiaggetta; un terzo molto originale si apre sulla lobby del ponte inferiore e permette di creare un’area di respiro a una zona generalmente chiusa. VICA si sviluppa su quattro ponti collegati da una scala centrale che si apre su eleganti lobby dalle quali si accede ai vari ambienti. A questi ponti si aggiunge un under lower deck in cui si trovano parte della sala macchine, i locali tecnici, i necessari locali di stivaggio per garantire l’effettiva autonomi, la lavanderia ed gli altri locali di servizio. Il layout interno dello yacht è classico e prevede quattro cabine per gli ospiti sul ponte inferiore, la suite dell’Armatore a prua del main deck e una cabina aggiuntiva sul ponte superiore.

(http://www.chroniclesfromitaly.com/wpcontent/uploads/2015/06/Schermata-2015-06-04-a-14.58.01.png) Ad accogliere gli ospiti sul main deck si trova il grande salone principale, suddiviso visivamente da una zona più conviviale – con un pianoforte a coda, un originale karaoke, un angolo bar all’americana e divano – e da una seconda area, più intima, con poltrone, tavolino e grande schermo TV al plasma. Proseguendo verso pruavia, s’incontra prima il foyer, con le scale che portano sugli altri ponti, da cui si raggiungono la grande cucina professionale sulla sinistra e l’appartamento dell’armatore sulla destra. Quest’ultimo ha un grande studio e una cabina a tutto baglio con uno stupendo terrazzino a uso esclusivo, da cui si puoraggiungere, tramite la scala laterale, il livello dell’acqua. Due i bagni, per lei e per lui, con vasca e doccia, divisi da un’ampia cabina armadio.

Il lower deck offre quattro suite per gli ospiti, due con letto matrimoniale a poppa e due con letti gemelli, a prua, separate dalla lobby. Qui si trova anche un terrazzo esterno che si allarga grazie al portellone apribile, e che rende un’area solitamente chiusa più ariosa e aperta sul mare. La dining room, con grande tavolo ovale per 12 persone, si trova nel salone del ponte superiore. Qui è stata predisposta anche un’ulteriore cabina ospiti, oltre alla cabina del comandante che si trova, più a proravia, adiacente alla sala comandi. Il fiore all’occhiello dell’upper deck sono sicuramente le zone esterne: se il ponte aperto a poppa è molto esteso, quello a prora della timoneria è eccezionalmente grande e ospita un enorme divano e due prendisole a ridosso della piscina Jacuzzi che danno la possibilità di vivere la giornata di mare in totale privacy anche su questo ponte oltre che sul ponte sole.

Sul sun deck, dedicato esclusivamente alla vita all’aperto, si trova la seconda piscina Jacuzzi circondata da un grande prendisole, un tavolo da pranzo e un bar con sedute per godersi drink a ogni ora del giorno e della notte. A prua di questo ponte, un’ulteriore area per il relax può essere trasformata in zona elicottero, “touch and go”. In questo caso, l’Armatore non lo ha predisposto, ma le sue strutture sono omologate per supportare, nell’eventualità, il peso di un piccolo elicottero per il trasporto di ospiti a bordo.

L’interior design è completamente firmato Benetti. È infatti stato curato dall’architetto Mariarosa Remedi in collaborazione con il designer del Cliente. Gli ambienti sono caldi, classici, legno dominante è il ciliegio, nelle sue versioni lucido e satinato (per le cabine) – e le rifiniture e dettagli in palissandro. Suggestivo il design delle luci, completamente a led e con colonne di arredo di alabastro illuminate dall’interno attraverso il controllo dinamico – semplicemente tramite Ipad – del punto di bianco. FB801 M/Y VICA – lunga 50 metri – è la prima imbarcazione Benetti costruita in doppia tecnologia: lo scafo è in vetroresina, mentre la sovrastruttura è in alluminio. Un concetto di superyacht “flessibile e modellabile” che può andare incontro alle diverse esigenze di personalizzazione del Cliente. È una barca decisamente Mediterranea, dagli ampi spazi esterni – con grandi ponti a poppa e a prora dell’upper deck che si aggiungono a un enorme sundeck. Il profilo esterno si caratterizza per le grandi vetrature a tutta altezza “all’ultima moda” che – oltre a inondare gli interni di luce naturale – ne snelliscono la linea. Una particolarità di VICA che la rende unica è quella di avere tre portelli apribili lungo lo scafo. Il primo è laterale a poppa e serve

per l’alaggio e il varo del tender e si aggiunge a quello che funge da spiaggetta; un terzo molto originale si apre sulla lobby del ponte inferiore e permette di creare un’area di respiro a una zona generalmente chiusa. Altra caratteristica rara per imbarcazioni di queste dimensioni è una scala laterale automatica – a uso esclusivo dell’Armatore – per raggiungere il livello dell’acqua. FB801 M/Y VICA – progettata al di sotto delle 500 tonnellate di stazza lorda (GT) – rappresenta lo stato dell’arte delle imbarcazioni Benetti per quanto riguarda il comfort a bordo e la vivibilità delle zone esterne, molto estese, come si richiede a una barca Mediterranea a tutto tondo. Il Panama International Boat Show, che si svolgerà dal 29 al 31 maggio, è giunto alla sua seconda edizione ed è pronto a riconfermare le attese di nuovo e strategico palcoscenico della nautica per il mercato latino americano. Benetti sarà presente all’evento per consolidare la sua visibilità nei territori del centro-sud America e per farlo ha scelto il Benetti Classic 121’ M/Y Nomadess, modello di grande successo della gamma Benetti Class Displacement, riconosciuto a livello mondiale con decine di unità prodotte e attualmente naviganti.

ATTUALITÀ

L’imbarcazione rappresenta la punta di diamante del marchio Benetti per i modelli semi-custom, inaugurando, oltre dieci anni fa, il successo dell’intera produzione. Il Classic 121’ ha una lunghezza complessiva di 36,90 metri e un baglio massimo di 8,18 metri. Il dislocamento a pieno carico è di 259 tonnellate e i motori sono due MTU 12V2000 M72 da 1.080 kW. La velocità massima è di 15 nodi, mentre con l’85% della potenza si naviga alla velocità di crociera di 14 nodi. Alla velocità di 11 nodi, inoltre, lo yacht ha un’autonomia di 3.400 miglia nautiche.

Uno yacht decisamente Mediterraneo, anche se i suoi 50 metri di lunghezza permetterebbero crociere ben più a lungo raggio. Il nuovo Benetti FB801 M/Y VICA si presenta al pubblico come un’imbarcazione del tutto nuova, soprattutto dal punto di vista tecnologico. I materiali di costruzione sono infatti la vetroresina per lo scafo e l’alluminio per le sovrastrutture, scelta che oltre a garantire una consistente riduzione del peso (e quindi minor consumo), riduce drasticamente le vibrazioni ed il rumore, abbattuti anche grazie all’inserimento di un particolare giunto elastico tra i propulsori e gli assi porta-elica.

rende unica è quella di avere tre portelli apribili lungo lo scafo, di cui quello di poppa serve per l’alaggio del tender e si aggiunge alla classica spiaggetta per immergersi a mare. L’ultimo portello è invece presente lungo la lobby del ponte inferiore, in una zona di privacy, così come la scaletta laterale ad utilizzo esclusivo dell’armatore. Cuore pulsante della vita all’aperto è il sun deck, che su imbarcazioni di queste dimensioni svolge sempre una funzione principale. Qui si trova una seconda piscina Jacuzzi (l’altra è a prua, insieme a due prendisole e ad un ampio divano ad U), un tavolo da pranzo e un bar con sedute per godersi rinfrescanti drink a ogni ora del giorno e della notte.

VICA si sviluppa su quattro ponti collegati tra loro da una scala centrale che si apre su eleganti lobby dalle quali si accede ai vari ambienti.

A questi ponti si aggiunge un under lower deck in cui si trovano parte della sala macchine, i locali tecnici, i necessari locali di stivaggio per garantire l’autonomia non solo in fatto di carburante, la lavanderia e gli altri locali di servizio. Le cabine per gli ospiti sono quattro e distribuite sul ponte inferiore (qui si trovano anche, in una zona separata gli alloggi dei 12 membri dell’equipaggio), mentre l’armatore dispone di un’ampia suite a prua nel main deck e una cabina aggiuntiva sul ponte superiore.

Il salone principale è la zona più grande, dedita all’accoglienza degli ospiti a bordo. Proseguendo verso pruavia, s’incontra prima il foyer, con le scale che portano sugli altri ponti, poi la grande cucina professionale sulla sinistra e l’appartamento dell’armatore sulla parte opposta. Gli ambienti classici, dove domina il legno di ciliegio, ricreano un’atmosfera calda, è stato proprio questo infatti il principio ispiratore dell’architetto Mariarosa Remedi, che insieme all’interior design firmato Benetti, ha curato gli ambienti interni di questo lussuoso yacht.

L’impostazione tecnica dell’imbarcazione è di tipo classico, con scafo dislocante in vetroresina e motorizzazione affidata a due CAT C32 Acert di 970 kW di potenza ciascuno, che assicurano un’autonomia di 4.000 miglia alla velocità di crociera di 12 nodi e una velocità massima di 15,5 nodi. The lavish owner’s suite aboard luxury yacht VICA boasts a spacious study and a full beam cabin with an exclusive private terrace. In addition, there are his and her bathrooms, complete with shower and bathtub, separated by a walk-in closet. The lower deck hosts four guest suites. Revolutionary Superyacht VICA by Benetti

VICA is the latest superyacht from the Benetti custom line which brings along new technologies from the Azimut-Benetti shipyard in Italy. Highlighting its launch was the use of two techniques namely fiberglass on the hull and aluminum on the superstructure – first Benetti yacht to utilize this technology. Open air stylings are largely present on Vica and so it happens that the designers incorporated three balconies which are open to sea. The balconies are found on separate decks with the main one being the sun deck where a second jacuzzi is located. On this area you find a large sunbathing pad, a luncheon table and a fully serviced bar with executive comfort. This area can also be transformed into a helipad via touch and go means. A small helicopter can pick up guests for small trips around the vicinity of the ship. However, the owners of Vica did not opt for this feature. There is another balcony in the open deck astern, and third one in the upper deck.

design work alongside the personal interior designer from Vica’s owners. There are three hatches in the yacht – the first one is located in the stern where the tender is launched and recovered. The second hatch opens to the bathing platform while the third hatch opens to the lower deck lobby. There are four decks on Vica which are connected to a central staircase providing access to other living areas. There is a fifth lower under deck which houses the engines, laundry and additional support service equipment. There are four guest cabins in the lower deck, owner’s suite in the main deck and an extra cabin in the upper deck. Two of the guest cabins have queen size beds while the other two are fitted with twin beds.

The owner’s’ suite comes with state-of-the-art study and full beam cabin with a private terrace and gangway leading to the sea. It features his and her bathroom fitted with shower and bathtub not to mention the walk-incloset separating them. The main salon is a haven of entertainment complete with a grand piano, karaoke, an American style corner bar and sofa just to mention a few. The interior is dominated by cherrywood and accents of rosewood. There is LED lighting as well as dynamic light temperature which can be controlled from an iPad.

Powering VICA is a set of two CAT C32 ACERT engines rated at 970 kW each and capable of propelling it to a cruising speed of 12 knots. At that speed the yacht has a range of 1400 nautical miles. The 64 feet yacht can accommodate a total of 24 people comprising of 12 guests and 12 crew members.

The brand new motor yacht Vica (FB801) was recently launched (March 2015) by the Italian shipyard, Benetti. The 50m superyacht Vica represents the first Benetti vessel built with hybrid technology and features a fibreglass hull with an aluminium superstructure. Jack Tar take a look at the superyacht after photos of the luxury yachts interior have been made available.

Benetti describe the yachts interior as classical, linked by a central staircase that opens onto elegant lobbies providing access to the rest of the living areas. There is accommodaton for 12 guests with the owner’s suite forward on the main deck, four guest cabins on the lower deck, and an additional cabin on the upper deck. The saloon on the main deck is separated for a more intimate space with a grand piano, karaoke, an American-style corner bar

and sofa, and from another more intimate area with lounge chairs, coffee tables and extra wide plasma TV screen. The dining room has room for 12 guests on the upper deck salon and on the same deck there is another guest cabin and forward, the captain’s cabin, next to the bridge.

The superyacht has plenty of outdoor/open air deck space. The foredeck (right) is huge with an enormous divan and two chaise lounge, a large Jacuzzi is just forward of this area. There is a smaller Jacuzzi on the sun deck, surrounded by a large sunbathing area, an informal dining table and bar. There is also an upper and lower shaded after deck with longe and dining space. Superyacht Vica is powered by 2 CAT C32 Acert engines developing 970 kW each, giving her a cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots. She can, though, easily reach a top speed of 15.5 knots or cruise at 14 knots with her engines working at 85% of their maximum load.

The superyacht has three hatches in her hull, the first is towards the stern for launching and recovering the tender; the second is a bathing platform, and the third opens into the lower deck lobby providing air and light to an enclosed area. There is also an automatic gangway down to sea level. One of the deck leisure areas can be transformed into a touch and go helicopter pad. Benetti to debut the Vivace 125 at Cannes Yachting Festival By Georgia Boscawen Italian shipyard Benetti has announced that the second model of the fast displacement series, launched on June 15, will make her debut at the 2015 Cannes Yachting Festival in September. Constructed from composite and carbon, the 38.1m superyacht has a D20 displacement planing hull, equipped with wave piercer. This configuration enables the Vivace 125 to reach higher speeds without engine strain, or cruise at an economical speed with a greater range. Following the exclusive agreement with Rolls Royce, Benetti has fitted the Vivace 125 with carbon Azipull 65C pods. This propulsion system optimises the stern tunnel thrusters, resulting in an improvement in propulsion efficiency of the pod drives. The exterior design is by Stefano Righini who has given the tri-deck yacht its sporty appearance. Redman Whitely Dixon has then designed the interior, which has four suites for eight guests, plus the owners apartments forward on the main deck.

Measuring 50m, the FB801 motor yacht Vica is the first Benetti vessel built using two different techniques surrounding her fiberglass hull and aluminium superstructure. Launched earlier this year, today we take a closer look at one of Benetti’s finest motor yachts to date. A yacht built for the Mediterranean thanks to her ample open air spaces, spacious open deck astern, and forward with the upper deck and an enormous sun deck, Vica’s entrance into the global superyacht fleet in 2014 was held in high acclaim. Vica’s exterior lines are characterized by fashionable full height windows that not only fill the interiors with natural light but also streamline her profile. A unique feature of the Vica are the three hatches in the hull. The first is laterally placed towards the stern for launching and recovering the tender; the second serves as a bathing platform; the third opens into the lower deck lobby giving air and light to an otherwise closed area. Another unique feature for vessels of this size is an automatic gangway down to sea level, exclusively for the owner’s use. Vica - specifically designed to fall under 500 gross tons – is a stateof-the-art Benetti yacht, with the latest in on-board comfort and extensive and pleasurable outdoor areas: a complete Mediterranean yacht.

In addition to the four decks we have the under lower deck with the engine room, service areas, holds, and laundry. Her internal layout is classic, with four guest cabins on the lower deck, the owner's suite forward on the main deck, and an additional cabin on the upper deck.

The interiors are all designed by Benetti, under the guiding hand of the architect Mariarosa Remedi and in collaboration with the owner's personal interior designer. Atmosphere and décor follow the home feeling style and are the primary inspiration for all the ambients with the exception of the foyer, where we have the notable stairway in wrought iron and the sundeck skylight that inundates the lower deck with natural light. The interiors are warm and classic, with a predominant use of cherrywood, both smooth and satin finished (for the cabins), with detailing in rosewood. Lighting is very suggestive, completely

Technically, the Benetti FB801 Vica maintains her classic configuration, with a fiberglass displacement hull propelled by two CAT C32 Acert developing 970 kW each, guaranteeing adequate performance for her 498 gross tons. Thanks to this configuration Vica has a cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots, but can easily reach her top speed of 15.5 knots or cruise at 14 knots with her engines working at 85% of their maximum load. The Vica guarantees a comfortable hull ride, practically without vibrations and noise which have been reduced thanks to a special elastic link between the engines and propeller shafts. The Naiad stabilization system is also perfect for the typical mooring habits of the owner, usually at anchor and rarely in port.

It is designed to offer their Owners an all-in-one solution to running a yacht. With a fixed yearly rate, the services provided include technical assistance, maintenance, administration and crewing. A specialised team of Benetti’s most skilled resources, working in synergy with various experts, delivers a seamless package of operating services coupled with the technical support and knowledge that only the Builder can provide, allowing Owners to optimize the value of their asset and dedicate 100% of their time to enjoying the pleasure of cruise and the yachting lifestyle. Specifically the programme includes: Technical maintenance (scheduled maintenance and occasional failures) Extension of contractual warranty to 5 years Yacht Insurance Crewing All crew-related services and costs: salaries, administration, insurance. Perhaps more interestingly the yacht’s warranty is extended for the duration of the service.
