Benetti reveals Mediterraneo In Cannes, Benetti unveiled the new 35.5metre Mediterranean 116', a new model for its displacement class range. Images Azimut|Benetti The exterior layout of the new 35.5-metre Benetti Mediterranean 116', a turning point for the shipyard, is smooth and slender, immediately showing the recognisable Benetti family feel. The design of the superstructure provides a sensation of luminosity and the flow of the sections is fluid with no interruptions in the lines of the pure design. Decks are lengthened towards the stern, moving the visual center of gravity amidships giving her lines a balanced, dynamic and compact aspect. The main deck displays the revolution in design and layout in the Benetti Mediterranean 116'. The six-metre wide cockpit is quite spacious and allows a panoramic view of the sea right forward with intelligent use of ergonomic spaces. The crystal doors that give onto the main saloon are over two metres wide. The three-metre tall picture windows are continuous. Here we have a large saloon with three settees, two laterally facing each other and the third forward next to a portable storage space. Continuing on is the dining area with a table for 12 guests. Here two French windows give onto the exterior walkway that, thanks to its width, can also be used as a balcony.

Perfectly designed for "emotion and pleasure" as its designers state. Further forward is the owner’s apartments. The study has a very regular shape with enormous windows. The owner’s cabin is full beam wide. The width is emphasised by the frameless picture windows that start at 70cm from the deck, with full height glass on both sides. There are two bathrooms, his and hers. In keeping with Benetti standards the lower deck of the Benetti Mediterranean 116' has a classic layout: four twin cabins (the two aft are VIP cabins) and two twin cabins with identical berths, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Here too Benetti has optimised natural illumination and dedicate every possible inch of space for comfort. Each cabin has 1.6-metre windows, giving the guest an exceptional sea-level view. Crew quarters are located forward on the lower deck with three double cabins, plus the captains’s cabin, for a total of seven berths. Stowage space and the audio/visual system are located under the main stairway, completely freeing the guest's wardrobes. Another special feature of the Benetti Mediterranean 116' is how crew movement has been determined, with the crew always available but in an incredibly discrete way. This give balance to the owner's privacy and maximum efficiency to the crew's service aboard, all without compromising accessibility and living comfort for the crew.

The cockpit flows into the skylounge saloon. A fundamental element of the Mediterranean 116's upper deck is the spacious open area on the foredeck. Standard layout foresees a swimming pool, but this huge area is highly versatile and completely customisable. Forward is the large bridge, while astern the skylounge is a rectangular saloon with 5-metre glass doors leading to the cockpit. This area has its own pantry with dumbwaiter. An improved layout of the onboard areas for the Mediterranean 116' offers a complete access to the sea, such that it even completely hides the lifeboats. The sundeck is an exceptional sight with 80 square metres, 16-metre long completely open space, all available to walk upon. The roll-bar is an integral part of the furnishings and storage space is accessible to the guests. Performance is guaranteed by two Man V-12-1400 developing 1,400hp each, giving the 116' a top speed of 15 knots. At 10 knots, project studies give the Mediterranean 116' a cruising range of 3,000 nautical miles. CCO at Benetti, Fabio Ermetto, is very pleased with the latest creation and affirms that “The 116' completes the Gamma Class range while at the same time introduces renewal and modernising influences to the lines of a few of our most successful models models; this is confirmed by the numbers: 18 contracts signed in the past 12 months. “In the coming months we expect a significant commercial success, even though the success of the 116' is already confirmed with a signed contract for hull number one, and with hull number two under construction.” www.benettiyachts.it Return to menu

So much to see during the four-day event - 120 vessels on water and more exhibitors on the marina. This year’s show, which opens its doors to visitors on September 23, will be a celebration of a quarter of a century of the Monaco Yacht Show. 25 years ago, the Principality of Monaco had no flagship yachting event of its own, despite having become an international meeting point for owners of large yachts, brokers and agents. Those who attended the first edition of the Monaco Yacht Show in 1991 will recall that the entire event was staged along Quai des États-Unis with 50 exhibiting companies – mainly from Monaco and the French Riviera. Only a handful of foreign companies took stands, while 30 yachts, with an average length of just 32 metres, were available for inspection. The show has certainly moved on. Those same Monaco-based yachting businesses have grown as the show has developed into the world’s premier superyacht event. Few can argue today that Monaco is the global hub of the superyacht industry, and the jewel in the crown is undoubtedly the annual yachting show.

The average size of the yachts on show exceeds 47 metres. In September 2015, the Monaco Yacht Show will deliver its largest ever event, unveiling a record-breaking showcase of no less than 120 spectacular superyachts afloat. The expected average size of these yachts exceeds 47 metres. Five hundred exhibiting companies will display their most innovative, tailor-made products and services. This year, extra berths for larger yachts means that Quai Rainier III, usually utilised by cruise ships during the show, has been specifically set aside to offer three extra berths for superyachts of over 100 metres. Not every yacht on show is supersized. Tenders play a major role in the smooth operation of any superyacht, and Monaco Yacht Show pays tribute to this fact by hosting a line-up of tenders to admire and for the most part, try out in the harbour.

The Wider 32 is a sleek and sporty day cruiser, designed as a tender for the much larger Wider models. Wider Yachts will be presenting the Wider 32, originally conceived as a versatile tender for the Wider 150 and Wider 165. The company says the 32 is also “a fun, fast and innovative express day cruiser – ideal for anyone who loves performance and originality, matched with the comfort of well-designed living spaces”. The Wider 32 can be uniquely personalised by choice of colour, interiors and power. We are keen to get a look at the latest in Hodgdon’s Venetian series of custom tenders designed by Michael Peters. This 10.5-metre beauty, the tenth they have built since branching out into building superyacht tenders, features a dramatic exterior paint scheme with an optional leather and wood veneer interior. In addition, MasterCraft Boats will be launching a range of bespoke water sports tenders with a Yanmar diesel engine package. While walking through the tenders area, be sure to check out Australian company on the docks Vikal who will have their exciting new model on display.

Luxury tenders are a vital and vibrant aspect of the Monaco Yacht Show - and where many deals are sealed. To stand out from the crowd these days, it pays to have a concept with some kind of edge to it. Designer Philippe Briand certainly achieves this, with his latest design for Vitruvius Yachts set to go on display on the stand belonging to Turkish yachtbuilder Turquoise Yachts. Just as interesting is the SS18 Sports Yacht from Glider Yachts, a British yacht marketing company. Making its world debut at Monaco, the 18-metre prototype is reported to achieve unparalleled performance and comfort. Powered by four 270bhp supercharged engines, this odd-looking craft, on skis, has been eight years in the making, using expertise from Formula One and the aerospace industry. A stability control system (SCS) ensures ultimate comfort at anchor, cruising or at speed, without the bumpiness associated with traditional sports boats, even in the choppiest seas. Also making its debut at the show is the southern hemisphere’s own chain of superyacht agents. For many years, agencies from throughout Asia and the Pacific have attended as visitors, but this year for the first time they will present an APS stand. Australia’s leading Superyacht organisation, Superyacht Australia will be showcasing the best of Australian brands at the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show. Australian companies present include award winning Muir Winches who specialise in the manufacturing of windlasses and anchoring systems for vessels from 5 metres to 150 metres; VEEM; and BSE Maritime Solutions, Abell Point Marina, a superyacht marina located in the heart of the Whitsundays; Bray Management, Australia’s leading team of superyacht experts providing charter brokerage, superyacht events and yacht management services; Echo Yachts, Ensign Ship Brokers, the largest brokerage in Australia; Greencorp Marine, Ocean Alliance, one of Australia’s most established luxury yacht agencies; Ocean Media with their unique luxury yachting publications; Rivergate Marina & Shipyard; Silverstar Marine; Superior Jetties, who will be present promoting their award winning Waterscape. New Zealand Street will once again return to the Monaco Yacht Show, with a line up of companies ready to show the strength of New Zealand quality to the wider industry. Distinctive New Zealand street will now stretch across the Darse Sud Extérieure area, with 10 companies exhibiting with support from the NZ Marine Export Group, including industry stalwart McMullen & Wing, innovative sailmakers, Doyle Sails and new exhibitors, Oceanmax, Harken, Southern Spas, North Sails, IMED, Magnus Marine, Events Clothing and MedAir. This year’s Monaco Yacht Show also marks the first edition of the show since the launch of South Pacific Superyachting. The alliance of Australia, Fiji, Tahiti and New Zealand sees the nations working together to promote the region, and easing cruising between the countries.

MYS provides many networking opportunities on and off the water. Improved layout There have been a few changes to how the show will look this year, due to the need to accommodate essential public works to improve the port over the next three years. There has been plenty of reorganisation, relocating much of the traditional exhibition areas. A new zone will offer 2,825 square metres of surface area divided into two air-conditioned tents. The first, Quai Antoine 1er A, will have an area of 2,425 square metres and the second, Quai Antoine 1er B, given over especially to members of HISWA, will be smaller, offering 400 square metres. Extending the show along Jetée Lucciana down to Quai Rainier II has given organisers the opportunity to enhance the reception, information and transportation services area. Just a word of warning before you arrive at the show. Because of the changes to the layout, the entrance at Darse Sud will no longer exist, and visitors and exhibitors will use the new entrance at the end of Quai Antoine 1er for accreditation. Both the VIP courtesy car service and welcome desk will be located adjacent to this entrance. The entrances at Parvis Piscine and Quai Louis II remain as they were in previous years. While the show will still provide a fleet of shuttle boats crisscrossing the busy harbour, a new golf cart service will offer visitors the opportunity to sedately ride in comfort inside the show venue. With improved transportation services and the addition of two car parks offering 600 spaces located close to the new entrance, mobility across the whole show has never been as smooth. There is, as always, more to Monaco in September than just the yacht show. New this year is the principality’s most innovative health and well-being facility, Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, which has recently re-opened after an extensive refurbishment program. The 7,000-square-metre spa has been renovated and comprises 30 treatment rooms, seven private cabanas and 28 different experts including sports doctors, nutritionists, physiotherapists and relaxation therapists. Those seeking culture can feast their eyes upon a spectacular exhibition organised by TAAF (Les Terres Australes et Antarctiques Francaises), which runs until September 27 at the Grimaldi Forum. Stopovers at the End of the World, created by Bruno Marie and Stéphanie Légeron, offers visitors the chance to embark on a trip to the tropics, the southern isles or to the white continent, by means of forty spectacular wall-mounted panels. As far as cuisine is concerned, the recently opened Elsa at Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel is a restaurant with spectacular sea views. It is led by the Venetian chef Paolo Sari and is the first Michelin-starred restaurant in the region to be certified 100-percent organic. Every ingredient in the kitchen is organic right down to the pepper and rose champagne. Would the visitor to Monaco Yacht Show consider anything less? We doubt it. See you there. TOP 10 highlights

As always, packing in everything you want to see and do at the Monaco Yacht Show can be difficult, and it pays to have a plan. So here is a list of our top 10 yachts not to be missed this year, in alphabetical order. 11/11 It’s a numbers game for Benetti, who have three yachts making their debut at Monaco. 11/11 is an intriguing plumb-bowed 63-metre creation that will cut a fine dash at sea and leave a clean wake behind. her. Atlante This mean, meaty and military-looking 55-metre from Italy’s CRN shipyard was built to designs drawn up by Nuvolari-Lenard. A wide-bodied yacht, her accommodation spreads over five decks and is capable of hosting 12 guests and 14 crew. Ester III This magnificent 66-metre yacht comes from the German yard of Lurssen and was built to the exterior designs of Espen Øino, with interiors by Raymond Langton.

Silver Fast from Silver Yachts, based in Henderson WA. Silver Fast Super fast and super sleek, this is the fourth offering from Western Australia-based Silver Yachts. Her highly efficient, eco-friendly 77-metre hull is among her most outstanding visual features – just wait until you see the rest. Irimari The sun is destined to shine on this Turkish build from Sunrise. At 63 metres, she is the first of the brand’s big-boat designs to be launched, and boasts 700 square metres of luxury interiors, and 400 square metres of exterior decks. Lady G Reichel/Pugh and Nauta Design are responsible for this stunning 29-metre sailboat from the Southern Wind Shipyard, built for an experienced owner who knows what he wants, and got what he asked for.

The 77-metre explorer yacht, Yersin will be one to inspect. Yersin You have to admire the owners of Yersin. No designer, no naval architect, just a strong desire to build the ultimate 77-metre explorer yacht fit for purpose. Have they got it right? Jump on board and find out. Madam Kate Dutch yachtbuilding excellence from Amels is what makes 60-metre Madam Kate stand out from the crowd. This beautiful Amels 199 semi-custom build owes her great looks to designer Tim Heywood, who has yet to draw an ugly yacht. Suerte The Tankoa shipyard has every reason to be proud of its very first yacht. We have watched this 69-metre yacht through every stage of her build, and can honestly say that if we want a yacht built, Tankoa would be on our list of contenders. Swan 115 It’s impossible not to love a Swan from Nautor. With stunning good looks and a stonking sailing performance courtesy of the maestro German Frers, she is 35 metres of adrenalin-fuelled luxury.

C'est le petit dernier de la ligne Magellano, des bateaux dédiés à la croisière dont le style épouse celui des chalutiers avec modernité. Le Magellano 66 a commencé sa carrière cet été. Les plaisanciers le découvriront donc véritablement à Cannes lors du Festival. Le yacht offre la possibilité de se reposer sur le pont principal au premier niveau tout en profitant de la vue depuis le cockpit, pour ne pas perdre le plaisir de la navigation. Une attention particulière a été portée à la suite du bateau où est installé un très grand lit surélevé sous lequel se cachent de nombreux espaces de rangement. En tout, cinq cabines sont accessibles dont une réservée à l'équipage.

La décoration intérieure est également épurée, grâce à l'utilisation d'ébène, de teck, de tissus bruts et de cuirs aux teintes naturelles.

“Vivace 125″ leva a bandeira da linha da “Veloce 140″ da Class Fast Displacement, inspirada pela tecnologia precursora construtiva, características estilísticas, e o layout espacial. “Benetti Class Vivace 125″ é um iate construído de compostos de carbono no estaleiro de Viareggio, Itália. Tem 38,10 metros de comprimento por 8,30 metros com 3 decks e um solário. Parecido com a sua “irmã maior”, Stefano Righini projetou o F-125 com um exterior esportivo e empregou generosas janelas horizontais para acentuar suas elegantes linhas. O interior é formado por 4 suítes para 8 convidados e o apartamento do proprietário, em frente ao deck principal, ocupa o feixe completo do iate. O capitão e sete tripulantes estão disponíveis para atender as necessidades dos hóspedes. Graças a um acordo de exclusividade, “Vivace 125″ é equipado com uma série inovadora de transmissores azipod concebidos pela RollsRoyce para Benetti: carbon Azipull 65C pods. O casco D2P Displacement Planing® equipado com wave piercer foi aperfeiçoado por técnicos da Benetti para a propulsão pod da RollsRoyce, otimizando todos os stern tunnel thrusters e os elementos que impactam coeficientes hidrodinâmicos. A italiana Benetti apresentou no Cannes Yachting Festival, que está acontecendo na Riviera Francesa, uma nova embarcação, a 116 Mediterraneo, para a classe Displacement do estaleiro. Com 30,5 metros, a Benetti 116 Mediterraneo possui espaços generosos tanto em seu exterior quanto no interior e acomoda até 10 pessoas em pernoite nos seus cinco camarotes. A suíte do proprietário possui grandes janelas panorâmicas, favorecendo a entrada de luz natural.

Seu layout externo possui espaçosa área na proa, com a previsão de uma piscina, mas que pode ser totalmente customizável de acordo com a vontade do proprietário. Com três deques, o novo modelo possui sofás e mesas nos espaços de convivência abertos, além de solário, espreguiçadeiras e bar no nível superior. Benetti 116 Mediterraneo será alimentado por motores MAN V12-1400 individuais, com uma velocidade máxima de 15 nós e uma gama de 3000 nm. O Cannes Yachting Festival vai até o domingo, dia 13. Depois de celebrar seu 160º aniversário no ano passado, a Baglietto Yachts apresenta em Cannes sua deslumbrante embarcação de 150 pés, a Only One, e o modelo de 141 pés, Fast, chamado Pachamama. Ambos foram projetados por Francesco Paszkowski. O Only One é feito em ferro e alumínio e tem linhas clássicas, sendo capaz de atingir velocidades moderadas (10 a 17 nós). Propelling the BF 203 M / YH is ensured by two propellers with blades 5 and by two propulsion engines of 2580 kW each, placed in a configuration with direct axis line. | For the internal fittings, BF 203 M / YH offers no less than 4 guest cabins - 2 double and 2 twin - on the lower deck, while the apartment owner is positioned in front of the main deck. On the bridge, there is also the main lounge with bar area and the cockpit has side panoramic windows for perfect visibility. The dining room, with a large extendable table, was placed instead on the upper deck with a second living area. Benetti brauchen wir Ihnen als an Yachten interessiertem Leser wohl nicht vorstellen, schließlich gilt die 1873 gegründete und heute zum Azimut-Konzern gehörende Werft mit Sitz in Viareggio als einer der Big Player der Branche. Während die kleineren Neubauten ab knapp unter 30 Meter in Kunststoff entstehen, vertrauten die Italiener bislang ab 45 Meter aufwärts auf Aluminium oder Stahl. glasfaserverstärktem Kunststoff – kurz GFK oder auch Fiberglas genannt – sind bekanntlich sehr leicht. Aufbauten aus Aluminium bieten schier unendliche Möglichkeiten für das Design und das Layout. Die nutzte der Eigner von VICA, der mit seiner Yacht lieber vor Anker statt im Hafen liegt, voll aus.

Privatsphäre auf dem Vorderdeck Das Exterieur des Vierdeckers wirkt dynamisch und deckenhohe Fensterflächen lassen viel natürliches Licht ins Innere, dem wir uns später widmen. Betrachten wir zunächst die riesigen Außendecks, wo sich das Bordleben im Mittelmeer überwiegend abspielt. Dabei fällt auf, dass sich die werfteigenen Designer auf Wunsch des Eigners nach vorn in Richtung Bug orientierten. Vor dem Ruderhaus findet sich neben Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten ein großer Jacuzzi. Ein zweiter Whirlpool mit kleineren Abmaßen wurde auf dem eigentlichen Sonnendeck installiert. Umgeben ist er von einer ebenfalls großzügigen Chill-Out-Area. Dazu gehören auch die Bar und der Esstisch unter dem Geräteträger sowie der Helikopterlandeplatz, den der Eigner ursprünglich gar nicht ordern wollte. Inzwischen erweist er sich aber doch für Transportaufgaben als praktisch. Bei Dunkelheit illuminiert, verwandelt sich das Helipad zur Tanzfläche und bietet ebenso wie das gesamte Sonnendeck, das Vordeck sowie die hinteren Außendecks zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum gemeinsamen Essen, Feiern oder auch zum privaten Zurückziehen.

der Salon auf dem Hauptdeck ein. Letztgenannter ist in verschiedene Bereiche unterteilt und wirkt weniger formell als auf anderen Superyachten. Dazu tragen sicherlich auch die bequemen Sitzarrangements, die Eck-Bar im amerikanischen Stil, das Piano sowie der extra große Plasma- TV samt Karaoke bei. Das Interieur-Konzept für VICA entwickelte das hauseigene Team von Benetti zusammen mit der Architektin Mariarosa Remedi und dem persönlichen Designer des Eigners. Der Stil fällt mit Kirschholz klassisch und warm aus, die stimmungsvolle LED-Beleuchtung lässt sich per iPad steuern. Weiter vorn schließen sich auf dem Hauptdeck an das zentrale Foyer und Treppenhaus mit Oberlicht die Küche an Backbord und das Eigner-Apartment steuerbords an. Traditionell wird es durch das Büro betreten und der begehbare Kleiderschrank trennt die beiden luxuriösen Bäder mit Badewanne oder Dusche voneinander ab. Über einen Balkon verfügen inzwischen zahlreiche Yachten, doch zudem eine elektrische Gangway für den direkten Weg vom Bett ins Meer haben bislang nur wenige aufzuweisen, aber das wird sich wohl bald ändern.

Treppenhaus mit Meerblick Damit nicht genug, gibt es sogar auf dem Unterdeck knapp über der Wasserlinie eine ausklappbare Terrasse, die das ansonsten geschlossene Treppenhaus mit frischer Luft und Tageslicht versorgt. Außerdem dient sie als zusätzliche Badeplattform. Davon profitieren direkt die vier Gästekabinen; eine weitere befindet sich auf dem Oberdeck hinter der Kabine des Kapitäns und der Brücke. Die anderen Mitglieder der zwölfköpfigen Crew schlafen wie üblich vorn im Bug. Im Maschinenraum arbeiten zwei CAT C32 Acert mit jeweils 1319 PS. Als Höchstgeschwindigkeit werden 15,5 Knoten und bei zwölf Knoten eine Reichweite von 4000 Meilen genannt. Vibrationen sind laut Benetti dank einer elastischen Verbindung zwischen den Hauptmotoren und Antriebswellen nahezu nicht wahrnehmbar, was zusammen mit dem 9,26 Meter breiten und 2,70 Meter tiefen Rumpf eine sehr komfortable Fahrt ermöglicht. Sowohl unterwegs als auch vor Anker kommen Naiad-Stabilisatoren zum Einsatz und die beiden quer im Heck installierten Tender werden wohl genauso ausgiebig genutzt wie die klappbare Badeplattform – VICA ist eben eine Yacht, wie geschaffen für das Mittelmeer. Le Crystal 140 de Benetti, un yacht de luxe pour se relaxer au soleil

Du 8 au 13 septembre, Cannes deviendra le port le plus luxueux le temps du Yachting, le festival de plaisance qui réunit les plus beaux bolides. Immiscez-vous dans la visite des cinq plus jolis yachts du salon, avant l'ouverture officielle. Benetti Crystal 140' Le fabricant de yachts de luxe Benetti présentera son Crystal 140' à Cannes, un nom en écho à la lumière qui traverse de part en part le bateau prestigieux. Quatre ponts sont à disposition des passagers, dont le principal s'impose comme le coeur du yacht. Un grand canapé et un bar ont été installés pour aider à la relaxation. D'habitude réservée au rangement des scooters des mers et autres engins pour prendre la mer, la poupe a été aménagée pour celles et ceux qui veulent prendre un bain de soleil. Une douche, une salle de bain, un réfrigérateur, des chaises longues équipent cet espace. Douze invités peuvent séjourner sur le yacht, et être chouchoutés par un équipage de sept personnes. Le Crystal mesure 42 mètres de long, et 9 mètres de large. Sa réserve de fuel, chargée à 58.000 litres peut permettre au mastodonte de parcourir 4.000 miles nautiques. Azimut Magellano 66 C'est le petit dernier de la ligne Magellano, des bateaux dédiés à la croisière dont le style épouse celui des chalutiers avec modernité. Le Magellano 66 a commencé sa carrière cet été. Les plaisanciers le découvriront donc véritablement à Cannes lors du Festival. Le yacht offre la possibilité de se reposer sur le pont principal au premier niveau tout en profitant de la vue depuis le cockpit, pour ne pas perdre le plaisir de la navigation. Une attention particulière a été portée à la suite du bateau où est installé un très grand lit surélevé sous lequel se cachent de nombreux espaces de rangement. En tout, cinq cabines sont accessibles dont une réservée à l'équipage. C.Boat 27 SC "S Version" Dans la lignée de bateaux produits en acier et en aluminium, ce modèle a été lancé en juin 2015. Il est extrêmement lumineux, grâce à de grands hublots qui permettent de garder un contact rapproché avec la mer. A l'intérieur, l'aménagement a été soigné et les matériaux les plus prestigieux ont été utilisés pour ce faire. Le yacht dispose de cinq cabines. That presents the latest model of Sanlorenzo.Le EXP 460 which, so far, only remains a yacht capable of receiving passengers in comfort with its five cabins, and a large suite for the owner.

Baglietto : classic and modern With four bridges Baglietto 46M impressed all the lucky ones who were able to visit it. The yacht of Italian shipyards Baglietto Gavio Group is the archetype of the unit – classic-and-modern – which is characterized by large interiors, comfortable, classy and unostentatious luxury. The yacht owner’s suite, with an area of over 60 m2 occupies the entire width of the main deck in the front, and has a sea view from each edge. Four guest cabins one notes collected in the hull and each with a bathroom. Note: the gym installed in the stern that opens entirely on the platform of swimming.

Benetti 60m Formosa : design The highlight of the 60 metres motor yacht Benetti Formosa is a very successful exterior design, a kind of marriage between reminders of professional forms as straight stem and vertical front windows, as found on large trawlers, and seductive curves, particularly at the stern. The interior layout and design are made by the guest in the area, it was created by the Dutch company Sinot Design Studio. The layout is articulated in five suites for up to ten guests, and sets aside one whole deck for the ownerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s apartments. The captain plus a crew of 14 is available to see to all the guestâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s needs. Formosa is a yacht hull displacement, and maximum speed, it does not exceed 15 knots in the two diesel wholesale thrust 1750 hp each. Formosa is powered by twin MTU engines, developing 1,380 kwh at 1,800 rpm, she has a maximum speed of 16 knots, with a cruising speed of 15 knots. Il y a quelques jours, Cannes est devenu le port le plus luxueux du monde à l'occasion du traditionnel Yachting, le festival de plaisance qui réunit les plus beaux bolides. Immiscez-vous dans la visite des 5 plus jolis yachts qui ont marqué l'édition 2015. 1. Benetti Crystal 140' Le fabricant de yachts de luxe Benetti a présenté son Crystal 140' à Cannes, un nom en écho à la lumière qui traverse de part en part le bateau prestigieux. Quatre ponts sont à disposition des passagers, dont le principal s'impose comme le coeur du yacht. Un grand canapé et un bar ont été installés pour aider à la relaxation. D'habitude réservée au rangement des scooters des mers et autres engins pour prendre la mer, la poupe a été aménagée pour celles et ceux qui veulent prendre un bain de soleil. Une douche, une salle de bain, un réfrigérateur, des chaises longues équipent cet espace. Douze invités peuvent séjourner sur le yacht, et être chouchoutés par un équipage de sept personnes. Le Crystal mesure 42 mètres de long, et 9 mètres de large. Sa réserve de fuel, chargée à 58 000 litres peut permettre au mastodonte de parcourir 4000 miles nautiques.

"Doté de quatre ponts le Baglietto 46 mètres a réellement impressionné tous les chanceux qui ont pu le visiter, y compris les plus grands spécialistes. Le yacht des chantiers italiens Baglietto Gavio Group est l’archétype de l’unité “ classico-moderne ” qui se caractérise par des intérieurs volumineux, confortables, d’un luxe classieux non ostentatoire, bref très agréable à vivre. La suite propriétaire, dont la surface est de plus de 60 m2 occupe toute la largeur du pont principal, à l’avant, et dispose d’une vue mer de chaque bord. On note quatre cabines invités rassemblées dans la coque et disposant chacune d’une salle de bains. À noter : la salle de gym installée dans la poupe et qui s’ouvre entièrement sur la plate-forme de bains…"

"Ce 32 mètres est, de l’avis de la majorité des spécialistes, une sorte de révélation de l’année. Construit par les Italiens de Monte Carlo Yachts, il sort tout droit d’un cabinet de designers vénitiens, Nuvolari & Lenard, qui n’ont pas leur pareil pour créer des marques de 15 mètres à 80 mètres avec brio le plus souvent. 4. Benetti Formosa 60m: le design

"Le point fort du Benetti Formosa 60 m, un design extérieur très réussi, une sorte de mariage entre des rappels de formes professionnelles comme l’étrave droite et les vitres frontales verticales (comme on en trouve sur les gros chalutiers), et des courbes séduisantes, notamment au niveau de la poupe. Ce design extérieur est l’œuvre du bureau d’études intégré au chantier tandis que les aménagements intérieurs sont dus au cabinet hollandais Sinot Design. Outre la suite propriétaire, cette unité de soixante mètres de long possède cinq autres cabines pour les invités, Le Formosa est un yacht à coque à déplacement et, en vitesse maxi, il ne dépasse pas les 15 nœuds sous la poussée de deux gros diesel de 1750 ch chacun. Mais il offre à 12 nœuds une autonomie de transatlantique: 5.000 milles."

5. Columbus hybride 40S, yachting vert

"Le monde des yachts se sensibilise aussi au respect de l’environnement et franchit le pas en optant pour la propulsion hybride. À savoir pour le chantier Columbus et son 40S Hybride, deux diesel traditionnels thermiques de 1920 ch chacun qui sont couplés à deux engins électriques Siemens de 60 kW chacun. En clair, le pilote a le choix de naviguer de façon écologique et discrète avec la propulsion électrique mais alors, le bateau ne dépassera pas les 8 nœuds. Le silence est d’or, a fortiori en mer. Mais si le temps presse, en quelques secondes, retour à la propulsion classique diesel pour flirter avec les 23 nœuds, histoire de couvrir des milles sans avoir à consulter son chronomètre. Le Columbus 40S se distingue également par une silhouette presque atypique, d’une incontestable originalité. On repère ce yacht de quarante mètres de loin… Columbus est l’un des rares chantiers à annoncer un prix : 16 millions d’euros hors taxe."

"Même si de nos jours le facteur vitesse sur l’eau n’est plus une priorité, il continue d’intéresser des plaisanciers. Comment alors ne pas s’extasier devant les performances du dernier modèle du chantier italien AB Yachts du groupe Fipa : le 145’ une bombe de 45 mètres de long qui fonce à près de 40 nœuds. Pour atteindre cette allure impressionnante, ce yacht cache dans sa cale moteur pas moins de trois gros cubes diesel MTU de 2600 ch chacun. Mieux, exit les hélices, le 145’ est propulsé par des transmissions par jet, une solution plus onéreuse mais plus efficace pour des yachts de cette taille. La vitesse est une chose, le confort en est une autre.Le 145’ est, lui aussi, convivial, avec ses cinq cabines dont la master située sur le pont principal. Une décoration résolument moderne prédomine, presque minimaliste. Le profil de cette unité a tôt fait d’aimanter les regards. Comptez un prix de base de 19,8 millions d’euros hors taxe."

7. Aston Martin dévoile l'AM 37 truffé de technologies

Aston Martin a décidé de se décliner sur l'eau avec son AM37, un bateau de 37 pieds (11,3 mètres). Ce yacht offre des fonctionnalités révolutionnaires dont un pont "coulissant" qui permet de protéger le cockpit aussi bien des éléments (pluies, poussière, soleil...) que des regards indiscrets. Il y est plus facile de plonger dans l'eau lorsqu'il est ouvert, à l'arrière. Les moteurs, les compartiments de rangements et le bimini se cachent également sous cette plateforme. La technologie embarquée est le point fort de ce bateau avec sa climatisation, son réfrigérateurs et sa machine à expresso qui peuvent être actionnés à n'importe quelle distance, aussi bien de sa voiture que de sa maison. L'AM 37 est doté d'un système de navigation intégré, d'un écran de contrôle et d'un système de divertissement. Le tout grâce à des fonctionnalités multimédias et par commande vocale interactive. Avec 50 noeuds soit une vitesse de 92 km/h, l'AM 37 sera la version la plus lente tandis que l'AM 37 S pourra atteindre les 111 km/h soit 60 noeuds.
