Benetti FB 701 has been launched and is now named Domani, following a ceremony at its Livorno yard in Italy. Domani is the fourth yacht commissioned by her owner, who is an experienced sailor that loves to cruise with his family. She’s been built to sustain extensive use by his family. Benetti has launched the BY006 Crystal 140 Equus and kitted it out with an African styled interior to reﬂect the European owner’s passion for Africa and the sport of polo. The owner’s designer, Polly Sturgess’ POD Interior Style studio, has created personal detailing which includes panels that imitate zebra skins while all the door and cupboard handles are in dark woven leather.

The Benetti Crystal 140 Equus has a speciﬁc interior design for its owner.

On the technical side, Equus is powered by twin 1,800kw MTU engines to give her a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 4,400 nautical miles at 11 knots. Designed for private use she has a spacious sun deck that includes a large zone towards the stern with settees and lounge chairs, while the jacuzzi is further forward. The same deck hosts a TV screen for guest entertainment. The main deck is characterised by a large living area without tables. The owner's apartment is forward and includes a study, walk-in closet, bathroom suite and bedroom with a 180° panorama of the sea. With the owner’s suite plus four cabins Equus can accommodate up to 12 guests while there are ﬁve cabins for the 8 crew members. RELATED ARTICLES

Luxury SuperYacht EQUUS Launched By Benetti In Italy | Luxury Yacht Charter & Superyacht News BENETTI Crystal 140 yacht EQUUS at launch

Decorative panels in the living area imitate zebra skins and all the door and cupboard handles are in dark woven leather. EQUUS was built to be used by the owner privately, to accommodate his family and friends. One of the most significant features is her vast sun deck that includes a large area towards the stern boasting settees and lounge chairs. There is also a Jacuzzi located forward. In addition, this deck also features a TV screen. On the interior, the vast dining area is located on the upper deck and boasts a special made-to-measure table, personalised by the Owner himself, who is an admirer of ebony artwork. The main deck has a spacious saloon without tables. The owner’s suite is located forward and incorporates a study, walk-in closet, bathroom suite and bedroom with 180 degrees of panoramic views. Benetti is also working on the hull number 7 of the same series, which is due to be delivered in December 2016. Share this:

Her main feature is a large central design element at the sides enclosing the upper deck stair. The accommodation includes four lovely suites for up to eight guests and the owner’s apartments forward on the main deck – spreading full width of the vessel. Guests will be serviced by a crew of 7, including the Captain. VIVACE 125′ features a D2P_Displacement Planing® hull with wave piercer and a one-of-a-kind pod propulsion system enabling her to reach higher speed without the engine strain, or to cruise in displacement mode at an economical speed with a much greater range notwithstanding the limited draft. Benetti Introduces Superyacht Domani to the Water Benetti has launched the new 45 metre custom superyacht Domani this week for an Owner with a passion for cruising the world. The Owner’s fourth Benetti, Domani was built for an expert sailor who loves cruising with his family across the globe. His extensive experience, along with Benetti’s construction expertise, resulted in a superyacht suitable for intensive use. The external design of this four deck steel and aluminium yacht is the result of Benetti’s in-house design team while her interior styling was created by Carlo Galeazzi with considerable input from the owner and builder. The efficient use of space is one of the peculiarities of this below 500GT full displacement yacht, offering a deceptive amount of room for a 45 metre thanks to the use of established Benetti platforms. The sky lounge on the upper deck overlooks the outdoor area through a huge glass door at full height and full width - about 8 metres - creating a unique indoor-outdoor effect while the dining area offers al-fresco dining. More details are set to emerge surrounding Domani later this year as she heads towards her delivery in June 2016.

The 45-metre Domani has been launched – the fourth Benetti for this longstanding client.

Benetti describes Domani’s owner as “an expert sailor who loves cruising with his family around the world”, adding that “his experience, along with Benetti’s professionalism, allowed him to build an exceptional superyacht suitable for intensive use”. The external design of the four-decked steel-and-aluminum displacement Benetti Domani is the work of the in-house design team, while the interior was created by Carlo Galeazzi with considerable input from the owner and his design team.

Benetti Launch Latest Crystal 140 Superyacht EQUUS Launching at an official ceremony for her experienced European owner, the Crystal 140’ superyacht EQUUS represents a benchmark for the Class range and a very busy period for Benetti. The Crystal 140 has caught the eye of seven owners since its introduction in 2011. EQUUS is one of these yachts. Fabio Ermetto, Benetti CCO, commented on the launch and the remarkable yacht which was introduced to the water on March 15th. “Her launch once again confirms the success of the semi-custom Crystal 140' model, surely the most spacious yacht in her category,” explains Ermetto. “This strong point, coupled with timeless design and a quality and level of comfort unique for her category, are the perfect mix for this design. And thanks to our order backlog we are able to offer exceptionally rapid delivery times using our “on-spec” system. Hull number seven, to be delivered in December 2016, is an example of this rare opportunity.” Her owner, while an experienced yachtsman, is new to the Benetti yard and worked with the team to find a model which would bring family and friends together without being excessively large. This remarkable superyacht provides space which is reflects the very ideals of contemporary luxury. Her interiors were a recreation of the original model design by François Zuretti, customised by the Benetti in house design team in collaboration with the owner’s designer Polly Sturgess (POD Interior Style) who personally created the decorative detailing. The interior reportedly recalls a colonial atmosphere with an African mood, in reference to the family's passion for the African continent and polo, one of the world's most glamorous sports,

also knows as “the sport of the Kings”. The living area's decorative panels imitate zebra skins, while all the door and cupboard handles are in dark woven leather. The Crystal 140' EQUUS (Hull BY006) was designed for the owner's private use and his desire to have the yacht dedicated to hosting his family and friends. To create a perfect platform for this, attention was placed on the spacious sun-deck, that includes a large zone towards the stern with settees and lounge chairs, while the Jacuzzi has been moved forward. The same deck hosts a TV screen for guest entertainment and relaxation. The interior dining area is on the upper deck and features a special table personalized by the owner himself, an admirer of ebony artwork. The main deck is characterized by a large living area without tables. The owner's apartment is forward and includes a study, walk-in closet, bathroom suite and bedroom with a 180° panorama of the sea. Sixth Benetti Vivace 125 Superyacht Contract Signed The first of the Vivace 125 superyachts met the world to high acclaim. The spectacular Benetti superyacht Iron Man (http://www.superyachts.com/motor-yacht-10295/ironman.htm) introduced the Vivace 125 line to the world at the Cannes Yachting Festival, and today it would appear that more are on the way. Arcon Yachts is a brand specialising in sales, charter and construction management, and today announced a new contract to build the latest superyacht in the Vivace 125 lines; revealing the true popularity behind the line in the process. The sixth yacht in the line is scheduled for November 2017, but we won’t have to wait too long for more from the Vivace 125 range. The second hull will be launched this Spring, while the other three are under construction. Arcon Yachts represented the client side during the stage of preparation of the contract and the elaboration of technical specifications. While the construction is underway, Arcon Yachts will act as the project manager. This is an ongoing collaboration with Benetti, which would appear to have produced yachts such as Saladus in 2014 - the third yacht in the Classic Supreme Series. Construction of Benetti Novastar (Delfino 93 hull #10) was completed in 2015 and this year the Benetti Tradition Supreme 108 is set for delivery.

EQUUS – BENETTI’S SIXTH CRYSTAL 140 SUPERYACHT Italy has seen yet another successful launch, that of the Benetti Crystal 140 superyacht Equuis. The yacht is under construction and hit the water during the ceremony on the 15th March, which was attended by her proud European owner and his friends. Equuis was bought by an experienced owner, who always admired Benetti’s vessels and was looking for a boat that would be suitable for his family and friends, without being excessively large – and he found the perfect size in the Crystal 140′.

Benetti spent last week launching the 42 metre FB 701 superyacht named Domani. Built for a repeat Central American client, the yacht is unlike anything ever unveiled by the Italian yard within this size range, and features a distinctive top deck structure. Benetti is yet to comment on the project, but it is believed that she features an interior by Carlo Galeazzi.

Known under the hull number FB 701, DOMANI is a displacement yacht constructed at the Viareggio Benetti yard for a long standing client. In fact, this latest launch represents if fourth Benetti yacht. The owner is an experienced sailor who loves cruising with his family around the globe. His expertise, combined with Benetti’s professional approach resulted in an exceptional superyacht well suited for an intensive use. The collaboration between the client and the shipyard begin with the first sketches until the launch. Boasting four extensive decks, the exterior design of this steel and aluminium yacht has been created by Benetti’s in-house team while her interiors have been designed by Carlo Galeazzi, in close cooperation with the Ones and his design team. A use of precious materials characterise the interiors of this yacht. One of the important features of DOMANI is her efficient use of space. The yacht, under 500GT, was constructed based on the technical platform FB700 in order to allow reduced delivery time. Her unique design offers a feeling of luminosity and space with particular areas such as the Owner’s suite balcony. The sky lounge of the upper deck is connected to the outdoor deck area thanks to the massive glazed door of about 8 metres, hull height, full width, allowing for great indoor/outdoor flow. The gamma was presented in 2011 to accommodate the needs of customers looking for a spacious vessel, both below and above deck. Since her launch Benetti has sold incredible six units to date. EQUUS was bought by an experienced owner, who always admired Benetti’s vessels and was looking for a boat that would be suitable for his family and friends, without being excessively large – and he found the perfect size in the Crystal 140′. The yacht’s modern interiors originally created by Francois Zuretti were recreated by Benetti’s in-house design team in cooperation with the Owner’s designer, Polly Sturgess’ POD Interior Style studio who are responsible for the interior decor. The interior is characterised by an African mood, which reflects the family’s passion for Africa and polo, one of the world’s most glamorous sports. Decorative panels in the living area imitate zebra skins and all the door and cupboard handles are in dark woven leather. EQUUS was built to be used by the owner privately, to accommodate his family and friends. One of the most significant features is her vast sun deck that includes a large area towards the stern boasting settees and lounge chairs. There is also a Jacuzzi located forward. In addition, this deck also features a TV screen. On the interior, the vast dining area is located on the upper deck and boasts a special made-to-measure table, personalised by the Owner himself, who is an admirer of ebony artwork. Benetti is again pleased to announce the launch of the Crystal 140 BY006 M/Y EQUUS for a European owner. Launched in the presence of her owner and friends March 15th, the Crystal 140! represents the benchmark for semi-custom yachts in the Class range, a gamma with an incredible success in recent years. First introduced in 2011 to satisfy the needs of diversified clientele for spacious above and below decks areas, this innovative 140! shuttle has since sold an incredible six units.

The BY006 Crystal 140! EQUUS was purchased by an experienced owner, new to Benetti, who has always admired the yard’s yachts and was looking for a model that would bring together family and friends without being excessively large. With the Crystal 140!, he found the ideal size. Contemporary interiors recreating her original design by François Zuretti were created by the Benetti in house design team in collaboration with the owner’s designer, Polly Sturgess’ POD Interior Style studio, who personally created the decorative detailing. Signiﬁcantly redeveloped from her original concept in just 10 months, this full displacement superyacht has four decks contained in her steel hull and aluminum superstructure, and can accommodate up to 12 guests and 16 crew.

The yacht’s external architecture is elegant and streamlined. The absence of bulwarks and the integration of full height portrait windows on the main deck, as well as the enormous 180 degree windows that enclose the upper and sun decks, means that the forward area of the main deck is completely unencumbered. The ship’s handling and docking areas are concealed so as not to obstruct the view from the bridge or the master suite. Together with the signiﬁcant natural daylight illumination achieved through the continuous glass windows, and the striking nocturnal illumination effects generated by 46 underwater lights along the waterline, the designers have created a magical effect.

The main saloon is an impressive entertaining space with its custom-made U-shaped sofa, 12-seater formal dining table and calming grey color palette, while the sky lounge on the upper deck offers a more informal lounge environment complete with cocktail bar and generous seating.

An impressive lobby and staircase on the main deck features a bright Italian marble floor and handmade balustrade crafted from marine grade stainless steel with a shimmering shagreen handrail. There are numerous opportunities for dining across the main and upper decks, but perhaps the most distinguishing feature can be found on the upper deck aft where 14 guests can be accommodated at a unique ‘backlit’ quartzite dining table. When it comes to social areas, it doesn’t get better than the main saloon on the 11-11, which welcomes passengers with a large, plush, U-shaped sofa, surrounded by a unique cushioned coffee table, which makes for a ‘Wow’ factor both by day and by night. Two luxurious cabins on the main deck enhance the living quarters. The spacious VIP suite is a full-beam cabin with six full-height portrait windows and an adjoining study / vanity area and ﬁtted walk-in dressing room. The master suite enjoys an expansive 180 degree panorama over the bow, overlooking the entirely private owner’s sun deck with large jet pool and a sunbathing area stretching all the way to the bow. The Sun Deck is the pre-eminent leisure area aboard, and was entirely restructured to create 15m of deck space for outdoor relaxation, sunbathing and entertainment. The most indulgent spot on the yacht comes in the form of a dedicated Spa area. The Steam Room is made entirely from pearlescent mosaic tiles, with smoky quartz stones and soothing chromatherapy decor. The white marble Treatment Room features an adjustable massage bed and heated towel cabinet.

The crew cabins are identical in size and without the disadvantage of narrowing as they near the bow, creating generous quarters for the 16-strong crew. The remaining volume is used as valuable storage space for this substantial vessel. Technology features have been carefully integrated into the design and include individual iPads in every room. These provide controls for customising audio/visual content, lighting, curtains, blinds and air conditioning. Built-in curved Samsung UHD TVs also feature throughout, housed in bespoke cabinets and frames to complement the overall design.

Apart from the dreamy accommodations and the yacht’s luxurious amenities, the technical details are also important: twin CAT 3512C engines power the superyacht up to an impressive recorded top speed of 17.5 knots – exceeding the contractual speed by 1.5 knots – and delivering a cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles, which should be more than enough for most owners. This is the fourth megayacht he’s commissioned in about 20 years from Benetti (http://www.benettiyachts.it). This same buyer has stepped up in size over the years, too. For example, 11 years ago, he took delivery of a Benetti Classic 115. A Benetti Classic 121 followed in 2011. All of the yachts have been christened Domani as well. The new Domani is 148 feet (45 meters) LOA. She’s a custom project, with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. (You might recall that Benetti has all-composite yachts in the same size range. Those are part of its semi-custom oﬀerings.) The build time was shorter than usual, despite her being custom, since the yard based her on an existing technical platform. Benetti has not revealed how much time was saved, however. Unfortunately, Benetti is keeping most details about Domani close to the vest for now. These include the interior configuration and decor highlights. We do know that the master suite aboard Domani has a folddown balcony. There’s also a skylounge with full-beam (nearly 26 feet, or 8 meters) sliding-glass doors, for an indoor-outdoor eﬀect. Domani bears styling by Benetti’s own design department. That same department joined forces with Carlo Galeazzi for the general arrangement. Of course, the owner made special requests; he further brought his own design team into the equation. Benetti plans to deliver Domani in June.

Last month saw the owners of Equus christen their yacht, with family and friends on hand, at Benetti (http://www.benettiyachts.it). Equus is hull number six in the Benetti Crystal 140 semi-custom series. While the buyer, from Europe, is new to Benetti, he has owned yachts previously. He was drawn to the Crystal 140 series for having enough room to accommodate several people while simultaneously not being too big. (Equus is only for private use, not charter.) A key attraction for the owner is the sundeck. Since Benetti allows personalized arrangements, he requested the hot tub be forward. This freed up the aft area for loose furniture. A TV will let everyone watch favorite programs when they’re not watching the horizon.

Equus departs from other Benetti Crystal 140 deliveries, and most other megayachts, on the main deck. Rather than have a combined saloon and dining area, it’s a relaxation zone, notably without tables. The master stateroom is still fully forward, with 180-degree views. Overall for Equus, the decor was a collaboration between Benetti’s in-house department and Pod Interior Style (http://www.podinteriorstyle.com). Since the owner and his family like Africa, tones and textures evoke its essence, especially from colonial times. There are faux zebra skins and rich woven leathers, the latter on door handles and cabinetry pulls. There are also elements evoking polo, a favored sport. One special piece of furniture is the upper-deck dining table. The owner had a hand in creating it, out of ebony. The Benetti Crystal 140 series was introduced in 2011. It will see its seventh hull, started on spec, launch later this year. The yard says she’ll be delivered in December.

The collaboration started from the Prst sketches of the project until the launch. The magniPcent yacht was launched in the Benetti historical site – Livorno, actives for over 143 years – with a slide method “sleep-way”. The external design of this four decked steel and aluminum yacht, is the beautiful result of Benetti in-house design team – also appointed along with Carlo Galeazzi to design the interior layout with considerable input from the Owner and his design team. The efPcient use of space is one of the peculiarities of this below 500 GT full displacement yacht. This unit construction is based on the technical platform FB700 so to allow reduced delivery time.

The living area’s decorative panels imitate zebra skins, while all the door and cupboard handles are in dark woven leather. The BY006 Crystal 140′ EQUUS was designed for the owner’s private use and his desire to have the yacht dedicated to hosting his family and friends. The most important is the spacious sun-deck that includes a large zone towards the stern with settees and lounge chairs, while the Jacuzzi has been moved forward. The same deck hosts a TV screen for guest entertainment. The interior dining area is on the upper deck and features a special table personalized by the owner himself, an admirer of ebony artwork. The main deck is characterized by a large living area without tables. The owner’s apartment is forward and includes a study, walk-in closet, bathroom suite and bedroom with a 180° panorama of the sea.
