Su nombre es ya una tradición dentro de la firma italiana, ya que el primer barco con esta denominación se dio a conocer en el Salón Náutico de Génova en 1969. Este barco de 93 pies (28,50 metros) de eslora, pertenece a la categoría Class del astillero italiano Benetti, situándose como el modelo de acceso y por encima de él están modelos como el Tradition Supreme de 108 pies, el Classic 121, el Classic Supreme de 132 pies, el Crystal de 140 pies y la estrella de la gama, el Vision de 145 pies. Los responsables de este proyecto han puesto especial atención a la calidad de navegación al reducir el ruido y la vibración de la plataforma flotante de los pisos inferiores, estableciendo un nuevo estándar en excelencia dentro de la clase de 28 metros. Una de las innovaciones más destacadas es la bulba de la quilla, que ofrece mayor seguridad en caso de impacto con objetos parcialmente sumergidos y un mejor rendimiento hidrodinámico que mejora la calidad de navegación. Las grandes superficies acristaladas en el casco destacan a primera vista y tienen como función ofrecer al propietario y sus invitados unas vistas impresionantes del mar desde cada una de las estancias del barco. Puede acoger hasta 10 pasajeros que se acomodan en dos grandes camarotes VIP y dos cabinas de invitados, además de un magnífico camarote del armador situado en la zona de proa de la cubierta principal que tiene un enorme ventanal con las mejores vistas y está equipado con baño completo forrado de mármol, vestidor y una mesa de trabajo. En la cubierta principal, además del camarote del armador está el gran salón panorámico con capacidad para 10 comensales, una cocina completa y una zona de relax con mesa fija. En la cubierta inferior están los cuatro camarotes de invitados más otros dos camarotes para la tripulación y en la cubierta superior encontramos un enorme solárium con jacuzzi. A la amplia zona de baño se accede con facilidad desde la cubierta principal y allí está la entrada al garaje donde se guardan motos acuáticas, equipos de buceo y otros ‘juguetes’. Todo el interior del Delfino 93 está recubierto con cuero italiano a gusto de su propietario combinando con paneles de madera de ébano oscuro y teca natural que crean grandes contrastes para producir una sensación de amplitud. Es un barco pensado para disfrutar de la navegación y las vistas exteriores, de ahí los 141 metros cuadrados de áreas abiertas en proa y popa que se comunican mediante un pasillo lateral. Lo mejor de todo es el flybridge con toldo eléctrico donde se encuentra el puesto de mando y el solárium más protegido. Equipado con dos motores MTU, puede alcanzar una velocidad máxima de 14 nudos y navegar un máximo de 1.500 millas náuticas sin necesidad de repostar. Benetti, in collaborazione con Fraser Yachts, annuncia la nuova vendita di uno scafo custom dislocante FB802 Breeze, il secondo della serie costruito on spec, che sarà consegnato a giugno del 2016. Un terzo scafo è già in costruzione con consegna prevista nel 2017.

Lo scafo, 49,8 metri di lunghezza e 9,26 di larghezza, è caratterizzato da una doppia tecnologia di materiale: carena in vetroresina e sovrastruttura in alluminio. Può raggiungere la velocità massima di 15,5 nodi. Benetti, il più antico cantiere italiano specializzato in yacht di lusso (è stato fondato nel 1873), si conferma così per il 16esimo anno consecutivo il primo produttore di superyacht

A third yacht of the series is already in construction with delivery in 2017. After a brilliant performance in 2015, the 16 th year in a row as the world's top superyacht builder, beating out the most important international competitors, Benetti starts 2016 with yet another success, thanks also to their collaboration with Fraser Yachts. Project FB802 Breeze maintains Benetti's high standards for comfort and livability. The twin technology used in her construction, with the hull in fiberglass and the superstructure in aluminum, offers several living spaces, salons and special areas dedicated to leisure and entertainment, including a 126 square meter sun deck! The FB802 interiors are enhanced by the natural light that freely passes through the striking panoramic windows, for an environment rich in precious materials and fabrics that create an intimate atmosphere, both relaxing and welcoming. The layout foresees four guest suites on the lower deck and the owner's apartment on the upper deck; the latter complete with an exceptional and sumptuous full beam bathroom. Benetti annuncia la nuova vendita di uno scafo custom dislocante di 50 metri FB802 Breeze, il secondo della serie costruito on spec, che sarà consegnato a giugno del 2016. Un terzo scafo è già in costruzione con delivery nel 2017.

Il layout prevede quattro suite per gli ospiti sul ponte inferiore e l’appartamento armatoriale sull’upper deck che ha a disposizione un’ eccezionale e suntuosa sala da bagno a tutta larghezza nave. Fabio Ermetto, CCO di Benetti, è molto soddisfatto di questa ultima chiusura di contratto: ”Con questa vendita si conferma vincente la strategia di costruire on spec imbarcazioni di oltre 50 metri, ovviamente se supportata da una solidità finanziaria senza eguali. l cantiere Azimut Benetti negli ultimi giorni è stata ultimata la costruzione del primo “mega yacht” portata a termine all’interno del nuovo capannone

da parte di Azimut Benetti Group. Oggi, sabato 23 gennaio, la stessa imbarcazione di lusso (“Lionheart”), di 90 metri di lunghezza, è stata portata fuori dal magazzino e collocata su una chiatta per poi essere trasferita a La Spezia per le operazioni di varo. Dopo queste operazioni il maxi yacht tornerà a Livorno per essere definitamente allestito. Ma non finisce qui. E’ già infatti in programma la costruzione e il successivo allestimento di altri yacht anche di dimensioni maggiori. Riproduzione riservata ©

Semplicemente volevo sottolineare il fatto che i nostri “figlioli” nemmeno ci provano a fare domanda, poiché stanno meglio sulle “baracchine” . A bordo meglio filippini, indiani, coreani ecc., noi abbiamo di meglio! Rispondi

quello è colpa dei genitori che mantengono sti vagabondi (per me non lavorerebbero mai e poi mai questi scanzafatiche mantenuti), e comunque un equipaggio deve essere per forza formato,non si và a spazzà le scale, un minimo si deve sapere, lingue, mare, barca, tutto, li sopra si che ci deve essere personale qualificato Rispondi

January 07 - 2016 Entrepreneur and acclaimed international designer Henrik Fisker, the founder of Henrik Fisker Design, and influential global superyacht builder Benetti are joining forces to create a series of innovative 50 meter - (164 feet) superyachts. The collaboration is focused on a new 50 meter yacht with naval architecture by Benetti. The yacht will be designed in California and built at the Benetti facilities in Livorno, at the heart of the Tuscan coastline. The concept will integrate a new platform developed by Benetti’s engineering team with Fisker’s sporty exterior and interior designs. Fisker is pioneering a new design concept to enhance and optimize the onboard experience by utilizing more space on the vast superyacht for both hosting and leisure. The design will add a new “human flow” element to reduce unused space and increase its usability. The yacht exterior will have a dramatic body using light weight carbon fiber and other exotic materials, as well as optimized ocean views from all major cabins and use reclaimed wood, integrated solar panels and optional hybrid power. The interiors will feature the new design concept for each of the three decks that will enhance the space and emphasize comfortable and clean luxury living in a pristine environment. The interiors will feature advanced and sustainable materials, and state-ofthe-art technology for automated controls and optimal power management. Onboard amenities will include a beach club, spa, several bars, a pool and sunbathing areas on multiple decks. announce the sale of the 50 meter custom displacement yacht FB802 Breeze, the second yacht of the series built on spec, to be delivered by June 2016.

A third yacht of the series is already in construction with delivery in 2017. After a brilliant performance in 2015

the 16th year in a row as the world’s top superyacht builder, beating out the most important internationa

competitors, Benetti starts 2016 with yet another success, thanks also to their collaboration with Fraser Yachts

Project FB802 Breeze maintains Benetti’s high standards for comfort and livability. The twin technology used in

her construction, with the hull in fiberglass and the superstructure in aluminum, offers several living spaces, salons and special areas dedicated to leisure and entertainment, including a 126 square meter sun deck!

The layout foresees four guest suites on the lower deck and the owner’s apartment on the upper deck; the latter complete with an exceptional and sumptuous ful beam bathroom.

Un terzo scafo è già in costruzione con delivery nel 2017. Benetti, dopo aver chiuso il 2015 brillantemente ed

essersi confermato per il sedicesimo anno consecutivo il primo produttore di superyacht al mondo, sul podio più

alto davanti ai più importanti players internazionali, entra nel 2016 firmando subito un successo, grazie anche

all’importante collaborazione con Fraser Yachts. Project FB802 Breeze è un superyacht che tiene alti gli standard

di Benetti per quanto riguarda comfort e abitabilità. Con uno scafo in doppia tecnologia, carena in vetroresina e

sovrastruttura in alluminio, offre numerose aree living, saloni e ambienti dedicati al relax e all’intrattenimento degl ospiti, tra cui un sun deck di 126 mq!

Il layout prevede quattro suite per gli ospiti sul ponte inferiore e l’appartamento armatoriale sull’upper deck che ha a disposizione un’eccezionale e suntuosa sala da bagno a tutto baglio.

A third yacht of the series is already in construction with delivery in 2017. After a brilliant performance in 2015, the 16th year in a row as the world's top superyacht builder, beating out the most important international competitors, Benetti starts 2016 with yet another success, thanks also to their collaboration with Fraser Yachts. Project FB802 Breeze maintains Benetti's high standards for comfort and livability. The twin technology used in her construction, with the hull in fiberglass and the superstructure in aluminum, offers several living spaces, salons and special areas dedicated to leisure and entertainment, including a 126 square meter sun deck! Verder ontbreekt het de gasten aan niets: een massage-ruimte, een zwembad én een luxe skybod komen, maar er zijn ook new kids on the verdienen lounge. Destined for delivery in June later this year, Italian shipyard Benetti has announced that project FB802 Breeze has been sold to her owner with the Fraser Yachts acting on behalf of the client. The first yacht in the series, Vica, was launched in 2014 with construction already underway on hull number three, which is expected to be delivered in 2017.

Once launched, she will become the yard’s largest yacht to date, following the 86 metre Nabila (now Kingdom 5KR) that was launched in 1980.

Superyachts Seanna and Sai Ram in Antigua Two very distinctive Benetti superyachts, the 65 metre Seanna and 52 metre Sai Ram is seen here side by side in Antigua. Built by the Italian shipyard in 2011, her exterior styling is by Stefano Natucci, with luxurious interiors designed by Redman Whitely Dixon. She provides classic but contemporary accommodation for up to 12 guests over 7 staterooms. Features include a cinema saloon in the main deck aft, as well as flexibility and multifunctionality being key in many areas on board. Sai Ram, also designed by Stefano Natucci, was built for a particularly discerning owner and launched in 2004. Benetti and Fraser Yachts announce the sale of a new 50 metre FB802 M/Y breeze Benetti has announced the sale of the 50 metre custom displacement yacht FB802 Breeze, the second yacht of the series built on spec, to be delivered by June 2016. A third yacht of the series is already in construction with delivery expected in 2017. After a successful 2015 earning the top spot for the 16th year in a row as the world’s superyacht builder, Benetti begins 2016 with another success thanks to their collaboration with Fraser Yachts. Project FB802 Breeze maintains Benetti’s high standards for comfort and livability. The twin technology used in her construction, with the hull in fiberglass and the superstructure in aluminum, offers several living spaces, salons and special areas dedicated to leisure and entertainment, including a 126 square meter sun deck.

After a brilliant performance in 2015, the 16th year in a row as the world’s top superyacht builder, beating out the most important international competitors, Benetti starts 2016 with yet another success, thanks also to their collaboration with Fraser Yachts. Project FB802 Breeze maintains Benetti’s high standards for comfort and livability. The twin technology used in her construction, with the hull in fiberglass and the superstructure in aluminum, offers several living spaces, salons and special areas dedicated to leisure and entertainment, including a 126 square meter sun deck! The FB802 interiors are enhanced by the natural light that freely passes through the striking panoramic windows, for an environment rich in precious materials and fabrics that create an intimate atmosphere, both relaxing and welcoming. Benetti и Fraser Yachts объявили о подписании контракта на продажу «кастомной» водоизмещающей моторной яхты Breeze проекта FB802, которая строится на верфи в Ливорно (Тоскана, Италия). Это уже второе судно серии. Почти 50-метровая яхта должна быть доставлена владельцу к июню 2016 года. Любопытно, что Breeze станет для клиента уже третьим судном Benetti.

Сейчас в продаже: Корпус Breeze выполнен из стеклопластика, надстройка – из алюминия. Представители итальянской верфи подчёркивают, что суперъяхта соответствует высоким стандартам Benetti в плане комфорта и обитаемости. Хенрик Фискер (Henrik Fisker) опубликовал первый скетч своего нового проекта: 164-футовой яхты для итальянской кораблестроительной компании Benetti. Ожидается. что новые яхты будут отличаться резким и агрессивным дизайном, смещёнными к корме каютой и обширной передней палубой. При изготовлении корпусов яхт будут использоваться карбоновое волокно и термически обработанная древесина, интерьеры судна будут отделаны экоматериалами. Сообщается, что в оснащение яхт войдут солнечные панели, за дополнительную плату судно можно будет оснастить гибридной силовой установкой. На борту смогут разместиться до 12 человек, их будут ждать спасалон, несколько баров, бассейн и множество зон для солнечных ванн. Benetti Yachts и Fraser Yachts подписали контракт на продажу новой 50-метровой яхты FB802 Breeze. Судно уже строится и будет передано владельцу в июне 2016 года, сообщает пресс-служба верфи. Проект FB802 Breeze выполнен на высочайшем уровне с точки зрения комфорта и удобства пребывания на борту. Продажа этой яхты является для Benetti прекрасным началом нового года, после невероятно успешно завершенного старого: в 2015 году верфь 16-й раз подряд подтвердила титул ведущего производителя супер-яхт, превзойдя всех конкурентов.

Корпус новой супер-яхты создан из облегченного стеклопластика, надстройка - из алюминия. На борту несколько гостевых зон, салонов и специальных пространств для отдыха и развлечения, включая сандек площадью 126 кв. м. Интерьер насыщен естественным светом, проникающим через панорамные окна. В декоре использованы роскошные материалы, которые создают расслабленную атмосферу. Планировка предусматривает мастер-каюту на всю ширину корпуса на верхней палубе и четыре гостевых каюты на нижней. "Этим контрактом мы подтверждаем правильность выбранной нами стратегии строить 50-метровые яхты on-spec. Наше прочное финансовое положение позволяет это делать. Верфь Van der Valk (Нидерланды) получила заказ на новую 27-метровую моторную яхту серии Continental Two. За её морскую архитектуру отвечает Ярон Гинтон (Jaron Ginton), за дизайн экстерьера и интерьера – Гвидо де Грут (Guido de Groot). Строительство корпуса судна начнётся в январе 2016 года. Доставка суперъяхты заказчику запланирована на весну 2017-го. Сообщается, что владелец нового судна – очень опытный яхтсмен, который прекрасно знает, что именно ему нужно. Суперъяхта будет построена на базе алюминиевого водоизмещающего корпуса с бульбом. Ещё одна характерная особенность судна – большая купальная платформа, которая также послужит местом для хранения тендера. Флайбридж, освобождённый от «гаражных» функций, предназначен исключительно для отдыха и развлечений. Там будут U-образная обеденная зона, ветбар, гриль и лежаки для загорания. В носовой части главной палубы установят U-образный диван и стационарный лежак для загорания. На судне можно будет разместить оборудование для дайвинга и различные водные «игрушки», в том числе Seabob’ы. Внутренние помещения, благодаря ширине корпуса в 6,72 метра, будут очень просторными. Планировка включает в себя «мастер», VIP-каюту, две стандартные гостевые каюты, V-образную каюту для двух членов экипажа в форпике и несколько лаунжей. Отделка интерьера пока обсуждается, владелец склоняется к минималистскому стилю. Новинка серии Continental Two будет первой в мире алюминиевой яхтой, на которой установят двигатели MAN V12 1900 максимальной мощностью в 1900 л. с. (на 2300 об/мин). Судно также оборудуют гиростабилизатором VG120 от австралийской компании VEEM. Напомним, что впервые серия Continental Two была представлена в 2007 году. .

Продана парусная суперяхта Twizzle Продана 57,5-метровая парусная яхта Twizzle верфи Royal Huisman. Покупателя представлял Джим Валлаче изCamper&Nicholsons. Twizzle была спущена на воду в 2010 году. Яхта может похвастаться одним из самых передовых парусных вооружений в мире. Площадь ее парусов – 1780 квадратных метров. Грот и бизань могут быть подняты одновременно всего за две минуты даже при легком ветре в 5 узлов. Интерьеры парусника были созданы Redman Whiteley Dixon. В них много свободного пространства и света. Стены главного салона и мастер-каюты задрапированы расписанным вручную шелком. Три гостевые каюты вмещают до 9 пассажиров. У всех кают есть полноценные ванные комнаты, доступ к кабельному телевидению и коллекции фильмов в формате Blu Ray на сервере Kaleidescape. Два двигателя Caterpillar C32 позволяют лодке пройти 4 тысячи миль на одном баке с скоростью 11 узлов. За Twizzle просили 39,750 млн евро. .

Морскую архитектуру первой совместной 50-метровой яхты спроектируют специалисты Benetti, дизайн разработают в Калифорнии, а построят проект на верфи Benetti в Ливорно, Тоскане. Несомненно, результат обоюдного творчества этих двух весьма креативных брендов получится особенным, посмотреть хотя бы на послужной список Хенрика Фискера – Aston Martin DB9, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, BMW Z8, а в сочетании с подчеркнутой элегантностью и чувством стиля Benetti это будет настоящая бомба. Для концепта в Benetti разработали новую платформу, а спортивный экстерьер и дизайн интерьера создавал Фискер. Господин Фискер разработал новую концепцию дизайна, которая позволяет увеличить и оптимизировать пространство на борту. В концепции будет присутствовать так называемый элемент «человеческого потока», позволяющий уменьшить неиспользуемое пространство и максимально оптимизировать объемы «полезного» пространства. Дизайн экстерьера обещает быть выдающимся, в конструкции корпуса планируется использовать легковесный углепластик и другие экзотические материалы. В 2016 году в Екатеринбурге начн строительство яхт-клуба Линейка яхт Galeon на Miami International Boat Show 2016 Серия 50-метровых концептов от и Хенрика Фискера

Проект FB802 Breeze выполнен на высочайшем уровне с точки зрения комфорта и удобства пребывания на борту. Ее корпус создан из облегченного фибрегласса, а надстройка – из алюминия. На борту есть несколько гостевых зон, салонов и специальных пространств для отдыха и развлечения, включая сандек площадью 126 кв. м.

Мировая премьера новой 40-метр модели Sunseeker в Лондоне

Интерьер FB802 насыщен естественным светом, проникающим через панорамные окна. В декоре использованы роскошные материалы, которые создают расслабленную атмосферу. В планировке четыре гостевых каюты на нижней палубе и мастер-суит с ванной комнатой во всю ширину корпуса – на верхней.

El Panthera, conocido como proyecto FB502, es el segundo yate de la nueva serie de Benetti 500. El primero de ellos es “The Imagination” botado en 2010. La forma del casco promete una navegación cómoda y confortable cuyo objetivo básico es minimizar el ruido y las vibraciones propias de la rotura de las olas. El estilo del Panthera reGeja la personalidad reHnada de su propietario que ha encargado un yate contemporáneo dotado sin embargo, de una elegancia intemporal. Las limpias líneas de la superestructura, los altos y grandes ventanales de vidrios tonalizados, combinan perfectamente con el color plata metalizado de los exteriores. El Panthera es un yate de lujo, elegante pero que a la vez huye de la opulencia en la que algunas veces tienden a caer algunos diseños de megayates. Para lograr eso, los arquitectos y los diseñadores de Benetti trabajaron codo con codo con el propietario y sus asesores de conHanza, así que no hubo necesidad de recurrir a diseñadores o estilistas externos en ninguna de las partes del proceso de construcción del barco. El propietario tenía una visión clara sobre el diseño y fue capaz de transmitir sus ideas con total precisión. El trabajo se centró, en gran medida, en la eliminación de los excesos y la ostentación, por ello, el resultadoes un estilo que sugiere belleza pura bajo la bandera de la simplicidad, algo que va mucho más allá de la mera moda. El Panthera tiene cuatro cubiertas donde se destacan el camarote principal con baño en suite. Más un camarote VIP con baño en suite y tres camarotes más con camas dobles. Todos los baños tienen acabados reHnados en diferentes tipos de mosaicos de Bisazza. Desde el punto de vista del rendimiento, el Panthera es Hel a su nombre, ligero y rápido. A pesar de sus 47 metros de eslora, su construcción en aluminio implica que sólo desplaza 340 toneladas, una característica que, cuando se combina con la estrecha y alargada forma del casco de semi-desplazamiento, ofrece un rendimiento superior. El yate consigue una velocidad máxima de 24 nudos con un consumo de combustible de 1,360 l / h , una velocidad de crucero de 22 nudos, y tiene una autonomía de 3.400 millas a una velocidad económica de 12 nudos.

Benetti och Henrik Fisker skapar helt ny typ av superyacht

Entreprenären och designern Henrik Fisker, grundare av Henrik Fisker Design, och den internationella superyachtbyggaren Benetti gör en gemensam insats för att skapa en riktigt innovativ ny serie av superyachts på cirka 50 meter (164 fot). Samarbetet fokuserar på att bygga en ny yacht på 50 m med, designad i Kalifornien och byggd av Benetti i Livorno. Konceptet för den nya yachten ska, enligt en pressrelease, ta fram en helt ny plattform med Benettis tekniska kunnande och Fiskers sportiga design för både yttre linjer och interiör. Liksom många andra båtbyggare handlar det om att öka volymkänslan och ljusinsläpp maximalt, men det här samarbetet ska tillföra ett nytt ”human flow” element för att minska outnyttjade ytor och göra en bättre yacht.

Exteriört handlar det om en dramatisk design gjord i lättviktsmaterial som kolfiber. Samtliga kabiner ska få rejäl havsutsikt genom stora panoramafönster, båten får integrerade solpaneler och hybriddrift (tillval). Designen sägs bli helt ny för yachtens samtliga tre däck. Särskilt mycket framgår tyvärr inte av de första skisserna, men enligt företagen ska det bli mycket lyx och hög kvalitet i alla detaljer. Båten får också det allra senaste inom framdrivning och kontroll av alla system. Bland bekvämligheterna ombord märks solmöjligheter, beach club, eget spa, flera barer med mera på flera däck. Det ska få plats tolv gäster i sex kabiner, som får hjälp av totalt elva besättningsmän. Fisker är välkända internationella designers för bilar som BMW Z8, Aston Martin DB9, Aston Martin V8 Vantage och Artega GT, Fisker Karma Hybrid, Viking mc, Mustang Rocket och – allra senast – Force 1. Benetti и Fraser Yachts объявляют о продаже новой 50-метровой суперъяхты FB802 Breeze Benetti объявляет о подписании контракта на продажу кастомной водоизмещающей яхты FB802 Breeze, второго корпуса в этой серии, который строится on spec. Судно будет передано владельцу в июне 2016 года. Строительство третьей яхты в серии уже идет и завершится в 2017 году.

Benetti 50m Breeze sold Benetti has the pleasure to announce the sale of the 50 meter custom displacement yacht FB802 Breeze, the second yacht of the series builton spec, to be delivered by June 2016. A third yacht of the series is already in construction with delivery in 2017. After a brilliant performance in 2015, the 16th year in a row as the world’s top superyacht builder, beating out the most important international competitors, Benetti starts 2016 with yet another success, thanks also to their collaboration with Fraser Yachts. Project FB802 Breezemaintains Benetti’s high standards for comfort and livability. The twin technology used in her construction, with the hull in fiberglass and the superstructure in aluminum, offers several living spaces, salons and special areas dedicated to leisure and entertainment, including a 126 square meter sun deck! The FB802 interiorsare enhanced by the natural light that freely passes through the striking panoramic windows, for an environment rich in precious materials and fabrics that create an intimate atmosphere, both relaxing and welcoming.The layout foresees four guest suiteson the lower deck and the owner’s apartment on the upper deck; the latter complete with an exceptional and sumptuous full beam bathroom. Fabio Ermetto, CCO at Benetti, is very satisfied with the latest signed contract: “We see our winning strategy of building 50 meter plus yachts on-spec confirmed with this sale, obviously supported by an unequaled financial solidity. Benetti and Henrik Fisker to create an innovative series of superyacht concepts Entrepreneur and acclaimed international designer Henrik Fisker, the founder of Henrik Fisker Design, and influential global superyacht builder Benetti are joining forces to create a series of innovative 50 meter – (164 feet) superyachts. The collaboration is focused on a new 50 meter yacht with naval architecture by Benetti. The yacht will be designed in California and built at the Benetti facilities in Livorno, at the heart of the Tuscan coastline. The concept will integrate a new platform developed by Benetti’s engineering team with Fisker’s sporty exterior and interior designs. Fisker is pioneering a new design concept to enhance and optimize the onboard experience by utilizing more space on the vast superyacht for both hosting and leisure. The design will add a new “humanflow” element to reduce unused space and increase its usability. The yacht exterior will have a dramatic body using light weight carbon fiber and other exotic materials, as well as optimized ocean views from all major cabins and use reclaimed wood, integrated solar panels and optional hybrid power. The interiors will feature the new design concept for each of the three decks that will enhance the space and emphasize comfortable and clean luxury living in a pristine environment. The interiors will feature advanced and sustainable materials, and state-of-the-art technology for automated controls and optimal power management. Onboard amenities will include a beach club, spa, several bars, a pool and sunbathing areas on multiple decks. A future owner will welcome 12 guests in six cabins, looked after by 11 crew members with comfortable staff quarters. Fisker is renowned as the international designer for famous iconic, exotic and collectable cars. He is best known for his BMW Z8, Aston Martin DB9, Aston MartinV8 Vantage, as well as the Artega GT, Fisker Karma Hybrid, the Viking motorcycle, Mustang Rocket and most recently, the Force 1 among others. Timing is everything. When the original owner of Benetti hull FB265 walked away from the project 10 months before delivery, an opportunity was presented, of the kind the boat’s new owner has made a living out of exploiting. “Let’s just say there was a clear opportunity for a mutually beneﬁcial deal to be done,” he says when we meet on board 11.11. The British businessman

had been in talks with Benetti throughout the summer of 2014 about a new project, and when FB265 was left ownerless two-thirds of the way through construction, he made a list. Cons: layout was largely ﬁxed and engineering installed to a different owner’s speciﬁcation. view.” The ﬁt-out was about 40 per cent complete when the commissioning owner walked away and some of his choices were a little eccentric. “There were no bars,” 11.11's owner says, “and it was designed for a RollsRoyce Phantom to be kept in the tender garage! I didn’t need any of that. The sundeck was all wrong – everything was too small, the Jacuzzi, the seating. Inside it was like a Russian tsar’s palace. I’m not saying that’s bad but it’s not my family’s style. It was too heavy, too classical and it was quite dark. We needed to de-wood it, basically.” Delivery, too, was a consideration. If he bought it he wanted it for the tailend of summer 2015, an aggressive schedule that had a few people at Benetti sweating. “I lost a bit of hair,” Benetti project manager Marco De Cosmo jokes. “But the owner is such a nice guy – it’s diﬃcult to say no.”

home. “I had to make a quick decision – go for it or pull out. I was actually in Hong Kong airport on my way home from a business trip and I said ‘let’s do it’. The deal was closed at the airport,” the owner recalls. Delivery was nudged back throughout the transformation and FB265 emerged from the yard just weeks before the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show, where the yacht was introduced to the world as 11.11. “If you compare the ﬁnished boat with the initial renderings we did for the ﬁrst client, you would not say they were the same boat,” De Cosmo says.

It’s hard to imagine she was ever anything but the monochrome masterpiece she became. Where it was impossible to change styling left over from the first owner, such as the dark, patinated wall panelling throughout, it was made to look deliberate: the dark wood was offset with lighter colours to create a sort of deco-lite interior, for instance. “We wanted that kind of look anyway,” the owner, whose company also designed the interior, says. “Our home in Los Angeles is art deco, too.” Splashed throughout is artwork from the owner’s collection, including, much to his daughter’s delight, interactive butterfly displays by Dominic Harris in the main saloon that flutter at your touch. “We’ve had great feedback on those,” the owner says. “I had a guy building a 90 metre at Lürssen on board and he said: ‘I have to have that for my boat.’ Everyone’s stealing my ideas!” The art animates spaces on board 11.11 that could otherwise get a bit twotone and one piece stands out above all: a Tracey Emin neon perfectly located behind the bar in the upper saloon that says: “Move me”. A very close second, however, are works from Hans Kotter, Helmut Newton and photographer David Yarrow.

The custom Benetti limo tender is the ﬁrst one they have ever built

Defying the modern trend for hard, minimalist edges, the main living spaces of 11.11 offer softness and comfort. Part of this comes through the owner’s desire to create a home on the water, but also because it was built into the contract that the boat had to be child-proof: curves are preferred to edges at toddler height and the two main seating areas in the lower and upper saloons cluster around coffee tables you can bounce off, or fall asleep against “while watching Peppa Pig”, the owner smiles. It’s the kind of attention to functionality that comes from having owned boats previously; 11.11 is the owner’s third superyacht, after a 45 metre Benetti and a 62 metre. “I’ve made mistakes in the past. I’ve designed stuff which looks great, but then you sit on it. My wife told me: ‘I’m not sitting on another sofa that’s uncomfortable,’ ” he says. “Functionality and comfort are the most important things.” The owner’s wife was heavily involved in the design of 11.11 throughout and it was a collaborative decision to take the major step of restructuring the sundeck, the biggest job on Benetti’s to-do list once terms were signed.

The sun deck was totally redesigned and the owners like to end their days on board in the cosy lounge.

With the transom garage housing a custom Benetti limo tender (the ﬁrst one it’s ever built) and RIB instead of a beach club, 11.11’s top deck is the pre-eminent leisure area. “It was our ﬁrst project when he bought the boat,” De Cosmo explains. The pool was initially placed where the seating is currently but the new owner wanted it all the way aft, surrounded by sunpads. “The deck was completely redesigned, destroyed and rebuilt,” the project manager adds. http://www.boatinternational.com/yachts/editorial-features/1111-the-63m-benetti-with-family-at-its-heart--28981

To avoid welding and other “hot activities” so close to delivery, the pool structure was built in ﬁbreglass, and painted to make it blend in. Comfortable seating was added along with an Italian stone-clad bar and a gym was replaced by an intimate seating area and kitchenette – a favourite spot of the owner and his young family. “We tend to end the day up here, with afternoon tea,” he says.

The mornings are spent around the second spa pool on board 11.11 – forward of the superb panoramic owner’s suite on the upper deck. Despite being out the front and feeling a little exposed, it remains a private area and can’t be seen from the bridge above, making it an exclusive little enclave. It wasn’t always obvious that this would become the owner’s deck. It’s got the view but the VIP on the main deck has the beam – all 10.8 metres of it. “It came down to outside space in the end,” the owner says. “You have a boat because you’re going to spend a lot of time outside, and it’s great to see our little baby daughter running around the front, which is all enclosed.” Lucky guests, then, who get quartered in the VIP suite, with its vast acreage, private study, walk-in dressing room and six huge portrait windows. The rest of the guest accommodation is on the lower deck – two twins and two doubles feeding off a central lobby. Each is dressed in the same art deco style, with Italian marble in the bathrooms – personally selected by the owner’s team at the quarry – and Lalique taps. The design throughout 11.11 offers a “polycentric experience”, the owner says. “It’s all about your senses coming alive, in what you see, hear, touch and feel. That’s when you’re going to have the best experience of your life, and hopefully we’ve managed to achieve that with this interior.”

The exterior charges a few of those senses, too, and will inspire comment wherever 11.11 sails. She’s not built on the same platform as Nataly but the similarities are clear, although whereas Nataly’s design was from the boards of Redman Whiteley Dixon, 11.11’s exterior is identifiably Benetti’s work. The decks bubble up behind that long nose, which ends in a near-vertical blade. A significant spray rail runs aft, to keep water off the decks – a common problem on boats with such an upright stem. The hull’s efficiency gains are still to be properly recorded but the captain, Vaughan Hill, is happy so far, reporting engine loading of just 65 per cent at her cruising speed of 15 knots. “We got her up to 17.5 knots on the run to Monaco from Livorno,” he says. “We had a head sea, with two metre swells. She stayed nice and buoyant and rode over the top, rather than falling into the holes.” Not that he has to worry about anyone getting seasick – the owner’s wife was a sufferer but she was treated by famous British hypnotist Paul McKenna and hasn’t had a dose since. The benefit of 11.11's bow is more volume forward, and this has been well used in a big bosun’s locker and mooring area on the main deck, and generous crew quarters down below. The yacht runs with 16 crew currently and the happiest of all is surely the chef, whose main deck playground puts the galleys of much bigger boats to shame. It’s also a superbly finished space, with – to the chef ’s delight – big windows over the water and a central island. The owner didn’t spend a huge amount of time at the yard overseeing the finishing of this and other spaces, relying instead on his design team, but did make one very important visit towards the end of the build. “I flew from LA to London to Pisa for a single day, just to see 11.11, and went back to LA the next day. I wanted to see it before my family got on board – I’m a perfectionist,” he says. As soon as 11.11 was handed over, he snuck in some holiday time before the Monaco Yacht Show, visiting Capri, where music mogul and friend Simon Cowell was a visitor. “We had a nice day with Simon in Positano, and then after headed up to Cannes, Monaco and St Tropez.” The owner’s winter cruising ambitions extend to the Caribbean – and might include the latest hot destination, Cuba. Plans could then include a tour of the Bahamas, Exumas (“so my daughter can swim with the pigs” - a Caribbean bucket list favourite), St Barths and Mustique before heading back across in 2016 for the start of the Med season. http://www.boatinternational.com/yachts/editorial-features/1111-the-63m-benetti-with-family-at-its-heart--28981
