Wyrażenia przyimkowe wskazujące na relacje w czasie 2

By, during, until, while Przyimek by stosujemy w znaczeniu „przed”, „nie później niż”: You have to decide by the end of the week.

Przyimek during oznacza „podczas”; umieszczamy go przed rzeczownikiem lub wyrażeniem rzeczownikowym: We saw the British Museum during our visit to England.

Wyraz while oznacza „podczas gdy” i jest spójnikiem, który umieszczamy na początku zdania podrzędnego: My brother was doing his homework while I was reading a book. Przyimek until oznacza „do jakiegoś momentu”: Joe kept knocking on the door until his uncle opened it.
