The existinf public and private transport overloads city centre, as well as only spontaneous parkings are located around the site. The cycling infrastructure is non existing at the moment. Currently transport is a priority over the pedestrians.

At the moment, vyzvolennia square and mira avenue are used mostly for transit purposes. The uses of ground floors nearby refer to the local services – banks, pharmacies, beauty shops. There is no connection between the city and local business. Thus, space is getting abandoned, the infrastructure is not growing. Simply the reason to come, stop and enjoy the open square space is not existing. • Why would I visit the square? • How would I like to spend time there? • Is it a pleasure to walk there?

The dominant of the square is the space for free use. Here can take place all the season activities: seasonal expositions and fairs, weeklymonthly farmer markets etc., ice rink as well as open-air concerts.
TRANSPORT PROPOSAL
We propose to create street in the street, filled with uses to encourage communication and cultural development. The New Vyzvolennia Square shall embody the main local meeting point and the welcoming clique place.

Vyzvolennia Square is an opportunity local premises influence to shape a vibrant new urban quarter, MAIN PEDESTRIAN ROUTES held together by an attractive and safe public realm. By creating connections within and beyond the site; by establishing a coherent urban grain and a flexible mix of uses; and by embedding and reusing existing buildings within a new framework we can pedestrian routes create a model for a sustainable piece ARRANGING MAIN ZONES of city with a unique sense of place. The full revitalization of the wider area around Vyzvolennia Square relies on more than just the realisation of main zones of Mariupol. Vyzvolennia Square however shall set the conditions and provide the catalyst for change free space on all fronts of the city.
