SECURE YOUR WASTE
Collection is weekly for green carts (organics) and biweekly for blue (recycling) and grey (garbage) carts. Find your collection day info on the monthly calendar pages or: • •
With the free PoCo Sort & Report app: portcoquitlam.ca/sortreport At portcoquitlam.ca/waste (Waste Cart & Collection Info page)
One meal is enough to bring a bear back again and again. Secure attractants to keep your family and neighbours safe and avoid a fine. More info: portcoquitlam.ca/lockitright.

5 A SUSTAINABLE APPROACH This calendar has been printed on FSC®-certified paper with at least 10% post-consumer recycled content. The calendars were also delivered to Port Coquitlam households in 100% biodegradable plastic bags. Please recycle this calendar at the end of 2021.
LOCK IT UP
SET IT OUT
• Secure attractants in a garage, shed, or with an approved cart lock. • Pick ripe fruit and berries. • Clean your barbecue after every use. • Keep pet food and bird seed out of reach.
• Only set out unlocked carts at the curb between 5:30-7:30 am on collection day [leave at least 1 m (3 ft) between carts]. • Secure them again by 7 pm.
About our 2021 calendar The theme of our 2021 calendar is once again Naturally PoCo, highlighting the beauty in the flowers, wildlife and landscapes that can be found in and around Port Coquitlam. All photos featured in the calendar were submitted by community shutterbugs. The cover image, entitled Morning Rays, was captured by Bianca Cowling along the scenic Traboulay PoCo Trail. We thank all contributors and will feature these and other submitted photos in City publications and portcoquitlam.ca/photos.
