Come for the FUN, Stay for the Friends! PARENT TIPS | Separation Anxiety is a normal and natural part of growing up. Children who have been fine staying on their own can suddenly become clingy. Here are a few tips to make these times less stressful: • Deal with your own anxiety. Children feel your uneasiness and pick up on the emotions you have and will transfer the anxiety to themselves. Ask yourself do you really want your child to be left on their own. If your answer is maybe not rethink introducing them to the program. If yes be confident in the Rec Leaders to deal with the situation. • Show your child the room and where toys, activities are located. Show them where the bathroom is and let them know they need to let the leader know. • Before leaving the room communicate the routine and be consistent. I will be leaving you in the class for 1 hour and will be back to pick you up. Introduce yourself and your child to the instructor. • Allow for transition time and do not prolong the good bye. • Commit to a loving welcome when you return. Find out what activities your child participated in during program time.

While enjoying movement your child will learn the fundamentals of dance and explore creativity and imagination in a fun and educational environment. Program progresses from Tiny Tot Dance (2-3yrs) through Levels 1 (3-4yrs) & 2 (4-6yrs). The next step is Letâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Dance Club Junior (5-7yrs) and Intermediate (7-10yrs). Drop-in opportunities in registered Children Service’s Programs! We offer drop-in opportunities in our registered Children Service’s programs if space is available. This allows you to try out a program to see how your children like it, or gives you time to work out or time for yourself on a day that suits your lifestyle. The cost of a drop-in is higher than the registered cost, as we believe children will get much more from the program if they sign up for the whole session. How does it work? 1. Choose the program you want your child to try out. 2. Check availability with our customer service team. 3. Divide the cost of the program by the number of sessions & add $2. This is your drop-in price for the day. 4. Pay at the front desk and then give your receipt to the program instructor. 5.
