editor’s note

Ah...I’ve got the summertime blues! As in lots of blue skies and turquoise water kinds of blues! As much as I love routines and daily to-do’s, I relish the long days of summer with no set schedules. I look forward to waking up way before the sun and heading out on my paddleboard to whisper goodnight to the moon and welcome the new day… Of course, I still have work to do during the summer, but our lives are just a little more relaxed when we don’t have to rush out the door in the mornings to get to school on time! It’s a time for beach parties with friends, backyard barbeques and just lounging in the hammock with a good book. We have an endless array of things to do here in the summer. Maybe you want to learn to surf? Swim with a mermaid (Umm, yes that would be me attending “mermaid camp” in August!) or take scuba diving lessons? What about chartering a boat to go deep sea fishing? You can do all that and so much more! One of my favorite things to do is play! I don’t care how old you are you MUST get out and play! Life in Vero is different. Here it seems as though we’re always on vacation! We are lucky enough to live where others vacation. This issue is dedicated to just that…relaxing every day like you’re on vacation! Get outside! Go to the beach (don’t forget to pack the cooler, grab a hat and wear your sunscreen)! This community continues to impress me. Your responses to our Humiston Banyan Tree project from last issue have been awesome! A big thank you goes out to all the wonderful men and women on the board of the Heritage Center for partnering with us as our non-profit. Stop by and visit the Heritage Center and Citrus Museum and give these great people a big hug, they deserve it! Once the funds are raised, I think we should all meet around the Banyans for a big tree hug and celebrate this incredible community. So whether at work or at play, get in that summer state of mind and enjoy OUR paradise! Long live summertime!

Pro Surfing and SUPing at the Age of 15

S

ince the age of nine, when my mom and dad made me try surfing, I have fostered a passion for surfing and stand up paddling (or “SUP”ing). I have to thank my parents, because of them; I am doing what I love to do today. While I ride shortboards, my true passion is longboarding and stand up paddling. I started surfing for AJ Finan with Cannibal Surfboards and Corevac Stand Up Paddleboards about two years ago. AJ and I have a great shaper/rider relationship. His boards have been around for a long time, with good reason, and are made locally. About a year ago, Helga Goebel, who is a pro-female paddleboarder with Riviera Paddlesurf, talked me into doing a paddleboard race in Cocoa Beach with her. At first, I was reluctant to go, but I entered the race and won my division! After that, I was hooked. I now race for Riviera Paddlesurf and have competed all over the state of Florida and Puerto Rico! This summer I may even get to compete in Italy and Germany! Competing is something I live for – whether it is SUP racing, SUP surfing or longboarding! I have to train A LOT, but since I was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida, the ocean is never too far. In addition to my SUP paddlesurf training, I cross train in taekwondo and jiu-jitsu with Master Robert J. McCarthy at the Family TaeKwon-Do and Fitness Center in Melbourne. The training is intense! I feel extremely lucky to have the absolute best equipment and amazingly talented team supporting me and believing in me, a 15-year-old kid. Helga always works with me on my form and my technique; she’s like my big sister! The Paddleboard House and Longboard House in Indialantic have sponsored me for so long I can’t even remember when it started. They always make sure that I have the proper equipment and support that I need. I’d like to thank all my sponsors for their support. Without them, I truly wouldn’t be able to live my dream! If you believe in your dreams, they can come true. I’m proof that no matter how old you are, if you can dream it, you can do it. By Austin Hollingshead Age 15, Melbourne, Florida

During World War II (1942-1946), the U.S. Naval Air Station at Vero Beach was home to over three thousand Navy and Marine men and women. The “Community Building,” now known as the Heritage Center, was the place to go for extra-curricular activities and entertainment. Before the young women could attend the dances, they had to sign a basic form with their parents’ consent. Wally Skiscim was a local photographer in Vero Beach for many years. He had his start as the “official photographer” at the Vero Beach Naval Air Station. He met his future wife at one of these dances. Wally is the second young man from the right. In 1947, Alex MacWilliam, Sr., a veteran, a former mayor, a pioneer of Indian River County and a Representative in the Florida Legislature, persuaded the legislature to transfer the eight-acre island to the City of Vero Beach. The island was to be set aside for “Any veteran who died in a combat operation and who was a resident of Indian River county at the time of his or her initial entry into one of the services shall be eligible for recognition.” After many years of planning, the bridge was completed in 1962 and the island was officially dedicated on May 10, 1964. On July 6, 2004 the name was changed to Veterans Memorial Island Sanctuary. A complete listing of all memorials and biographies can be found in the Archives at the Indian River County Main Library. A Treepeace

s a New York resident, I visited Vero Beach in May to attend my aunt’s wedding. One of the first things I noticed was the abundance of art galleries and thrift shops and I could sense the creative energy immediately. I also noticed some amazing trees throughout the area. My aunt picked up a copy of Portfolio Magazine and we read the article about the Banyan trees that were nearby. We visited the trees the very next day and took photos. It was a very humbling experience to be in the presence of such cool trees. Recently, I have developed a deep connection and appreciation for all living things, especially trees. They provide us with so much and ask for nothing in return. In 2012, I began experimenting with branches found in my yard along with reclaimed lumber, creating small necklace medallions. I received so much positive feedback that I was encouraged to create more jewelry. I developed a passion for utilizing recycled wood and cardboard due to their abundance and availability, and this way of crafting became the foundation for my business. Treepeace was founded in 2013, not only to create quality wood jewelry, but also to inspire people to think differently about waste. Our goal is to help restore balance to the environment through awareness and positive action. Each piece of handcrafted jewelry that we sell helps to preserve one square meter of rainforest through a donation to cupio.org. Please check out our shop at Treepeace.com. Even though we live in New York, we’d like to help support your cause in saving those beautiful banyan trees. For every purchase made through Treepeace.com, we’ll donate a portion of the proceeds to Vero Heritage. We’re even designing a special Vero Beach banyan bracelet to help show our support! Get yours at LUBA and The Blue Poppy! It’s up to all of us to take responsibility for the health of our beautiful planet. The future lies in the hands of those who take action today! One Love!

e’re continuing our efforts to preserve a piece of Vero’s past! The home of Dr. W.H. Humiston once stood on the lot at the corner of SR60 and Avalon, the house was torn down but two beautiful banyan trees remain. We plan to partner with Vero Heritage, Inc. in securing the property and turning it into a pocket park. There are many “hoops” to jump through in completing the process but we’re looking for creative and imaginative ways of getting the job done. We need neighbors, sponsors, partners, supporters...and workers... interested in helping make this happen. If you want to help us “get rooted”, please contact us at Portfolio Magazine, P.O. Greet a Special Summertime Guest With a Guided Sea Turtle Walk

T

his summer, we will be offering sea turtle walks to the public. A turtle walk is a presentation on sea turtle biology and conservation followed by a guided walk on the beach at night to witness a nesting loggerhead. One of our goals at Coastal Biology, Inc., is to provide outdoor learning experiences to local residents and people visiting our coast from the perspective of knowledgeable biologists. These guided walks are professionally led and permitted through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). Our walks will take place on Friday evenings at the Town of Indian River Shores Community Center and Saturday evenings at the Moorings Yacht & Country Club during June and July. The cost is $15 per reservation, which supports our non-profit and covers operating expenses. The turtle walk will begin at 9 PM with a presentation and end around midnight with a good chance of showing the group a nesting sea turtle. The walk is a maximum of 1 kilometer or about 2/3 mile, so it is important to wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. Bring an adventurous spirit, but please keep your flashlights and flash cameras at home because they will not be allowed on the beach. Join us to witness one of the great spectacles of the natural world and learn why the Treasure Coast is a special place for these protected marine reptiles. Reservations can be made on our website at www.coastalbiology.org. By Rick Herren Photo provided by Coastal Biology, Inc.

Beach Volleyball Anyone? How About a Game of Kickball? A growing addiction on the Treasure Coast is a Beach Volleyball league along with a Kickball league...yes, kickball! However, this isn’t your grade school recess sport anymore. Operated by Graham Murray and affiliated with Ultra Coed Sports, these two leagues are constantly in progress or starting up shortly. Even better, you don’t need to be a professional athlete or have any athletic ability at all to join! However, it’s only for the 21 and over crowd. Check out www.treasurecoastkickball.com for more information. New leagues are located throughout the Treasure Coast from Vero to Jensen Beach. Afterwards, there is always a restaurant sponsor where food and drinks specials are available. Come join the fun!

Healthy Summer Habits

D

uring the summer, trying to stay active and enjoying the outdoors can be a sweaty experience. One way to combat the heat is to use the cool hours in the morning and late afternoon for outside activities and to avoid peak sun hours between 10am and 4pm. When planning to spend a long day at the beach, whether it’s sunny or overcast, wear long-sleeved sun shirts, full coverage hats and of course, sunscreen. Sunscreen with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide provides an actual physical barrier to the sun’s rays instead of a chemical barrier, but as long as your sunscreen is SPF 15 or higher you should be well-protected from skin cancer and sun damaged skin. Apply sunscreen a half-hour before you go out in the sun and reapply every two hours and after sweating or swimming for the most effective coverage. Stay hydrated by bringing a water bottle wherever you go. Dehydration from heat exhaustion and heat stroke are very serious matters. Heat exhaustion can make you feel tired, nauseated, weak and dizzy whereas heat stroke can result when sweating stops and respiratory symptoms and altered consciousness occur. If your urine is getting dark, you need to drink more water--and I do mean water. Sports drinks can replace the salts and minerals you lose when you sweat but only if you dilute them with equal parts of water. Some days, you may even want to skip

Sean Muraskin, Sam Muraskin, MD, Christine Nielson, MD, and Wells Muraskin

the outdoors and turn to indoor activities like bowling, roller skating, or catching a movie. There are some of us who have a greater susceptibility to the negative impacts of dampheat weather patterns. Some symptoms may include cloudy thinking, heavy limbs, heat rashes, fatigue, sinus pressure, headaches, and swelling/ edema. Acupuncture and/or acupressure can help in alleviating these symptoms and create balance while improving overall health and wellness.

Even if you have a clean bill of health from your primary care doctor, everyone can benefit from treatment and you will come away with a feeling of stillness and wellness that makes it easy to beat the summer heat. Only here, As I listen to the rumble of your Ocean Energy... Do I remember the power Of my own Ocean Soul...

I By Terri Martin Finethy Ocean Energy and Earthbound Art loveergy@hotmail.com

grew up in South Carolina where I developed an incredible attraction to the beach. After moving to Vero in 1978, I found myself even more drawn to the ocean. I discovered that when I was at the beach, something magical happened. My spirit was no longer earthbound. Once in the presence of the ocean, I began to soar high above into something bigger than I had ever experienced. In 1981, my twin sons were born and in 1984, my daughter arrived. Being the happiest and most proud momma on the planet, I arranged my life and schedule to be present and fully involved with raising my kids. I enjoyed every minute of that priceless existence. In my free time, I began volunteering at the school. It was through that opportunity as a volunteer that my creative egg was broken. I began to create and market large three dimensional paper murals. I discovered a part of myself that was begging to come alive! In 2003, tragedy took over our family. My son, Alan, was misdiagnosed in a hospital emergency room. Our lives would change forever. My spirit was broken and lost. How would I ever feel joy again? How would we live with this pain? The ocean. It was only there that I found any comfort. I would go to the beach almost every day just to fill my heart with the healing powers I found there. It always reminded me that there is something huge, something magnificent about life. Today, I am a recycle artist, creating original and sometimes, quite strange pieces of art. I find beauty in bits and pieces of things tossed away, washed up on shore, discarded. Life surprises us with its little gifts but it is up to us to recognize these offerings in spite of the difficulties we often face. I’m so grateful to be able to express myself with my art...it has saved my life.

As I step onto the warm sand... My ocean soul awakens to Your sudsy grin... And I know all I feel is right. 38 July-August 2014

It’s a Charmed Life McAnsh Park Bungalow

M

y family has been in Vero Beach since 1980. Attracted by the easy-going lifestyle and the old-world Florida charm, we loved that Vero Beach was what “Florida used to be.” The oak-lined streets, the charming town, the small quaint houses and the low-rise coastline made us think of lazy days past. When I bought my first place here in 2000, I had no intention of getting into renovations and restorations. That changed however, when I tried to buy a beautiful old house on Camelia in Central Beach, which had been hand-crafted by its original owner. When I lost it to a prospector from up North, who tore it down and filled the lot with an ugly, over-sized spec house, I started my “crusade.” This house on Cordova was my first restoration project, which I found by accident when I took a wrong turn in McAnsh Park. It was abandoned, in sad shape and coming up for auction. I bought it, determined to restore it for fear the same fate would befall this gem as the house on Camelia. It has since been completely restored down to the cedar siding and the pecky cypress ceilings. I have done several houses since, mostly in Central Beach, with the hope that I can preserve the Florida traditions of small quaint houses on flowerfilled lots. I treasure the terrazzo floors, the old Dade county pine and the pecky cypress that many of these houses have. I want to preserve a tradition that focuses more on old houses in visual harmony with our neighborhoods

than on big, pretentious McMansions that spoil everything around them. I love Vero Beach and its old buildings. I am baffled by people who come here attracted to Vero’s quaint charm but then set out to tear down and change these old charming buildings. This town—it’s trees, it’s old houses, it landmarks—is a treasure to be preserved. Once lost, it is gone forever. By Catherine Sulivan, Homeowner Editor’s note: This lovely little bungalow is on the market for sale with Claudia Johnson at Norris & Company.

young at heart

If You Can Dream It and You Can Do It

T

here is no such thing as being “too young” or “too old” to pursue your dreams. At 75, I’ve decided to scratch one more thing off my bucket list: opening my own business and personally sharing my diverse background in business, art, planning and budgeting. God has given me the gift of vision and an inert sense of taste. I decided it was time to use them on my own and start my own design business. I have a passion for what I create and have a strong sense of pride when the job is done. Homeowners often have an idea of what they want their homes to look like, but most of them aren’t sure how to get from ideas to a finished product. That’s what I can give them. I listen to what they want and then use my skills and expertise to bring their ideas to life in the way that will make them the happiest. I am also very practical minded. In order to meet my client’s budget expectations, I’m willing to mix in more reasonably priced materials and products and I’m resourceful in finding affordable alternatives for the

42 July-August 2014

client without compromising the design concept. This process should be fun from start to finish! When homeowners are in the process of selling their home, a fresh eye can often be needed. I help give advice on creating the right look to stage the house or add life to existing furnishings. It’s my goal to be one step ahead and give an objective, critical review on what could be beautiful or right for the space to both sellers and potential buyers. Schedule an appointment to discover the services I can provide. Mention Portfolio Magazine to get a no cost consultation. As always, it’s time for that glass of fine wine. consider acupuncture for your Pets

S

A healthy addition to modern medicine

ummer is a time to slow down, relax and enjoy the outdoors with family and friends. Our pets play a big part in our happiness and enjoyment. They thrive on being in the middle of the family activity and they seem to savor every moment with you. Our pets add so much to our lives with their unconditional love and attention. When your pets are injured or suffering from an illness, it can really change their behavior. Seeing pets distance themselves or nervously watch from the sidelines can be heartbreaking. The human – animal bond is very natural and therapeutic. Pets help us relax and enjoy our lives. We want to help them feel better and be themselves again. Pets can benefit greatly from natural healing. Acupuncture is the staple of natural healing and holistic care. It has healed animals for thousands of years. Acupuncture is an ideal way to alleviate stress, tension and soreness and can help your pet live a happy and pain free life. Acupuncture works by blocking pain sensation pathways to the brain, decreasing inflammation, releasing muscle tension and soreness, increasing circulation, clearing free radicals and supplying nutrients to key areas in your pet’s body. As if that’s not enough, it also releases the “feel-good hormones” or endorphins so your pet enjoys the sensation of acupuncture. Pets don’t fear needles like some humans do. The needles are thin and coated to slip in and out unnoticed. Many pets relax so much they may fall asleep

during treatments. With acupuncture, I have been able to return painful or paralyzed pets back to normal function many times throughout the years and I have cured all sorts of illnesses. Acupuncture is one of the most beautiful healing modalities as it stimulates the body to heal itself with no side effects. Consider a clean, healthy and effective healing treatment with acupuncture so your pets can regain their comfort and return to their happy lives to fully enjoy the summer! Dr. Kattis Stengard is the owner and medical director of Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital. She sees pets daily for Acupuncture treatments. Call to schedule your pet’s visit today. One Person Can Make a Difference In the Life of A Dog

Same dog, different owner.

bout 2 years ago, I learned that as many as 10,000 dogs a day were being euthanized in high kill shelters all over Florida. I also learned about a network of people that lived to help these animals. I started off donating, but then realized if I had a group of people that would foster dogs until I found permanent homes, I could save lives. While I can’t save them all, there is nothing better than saving a dog from death row.

Many dogs rescued from the shelters have some kind of medical condition. Luckily, Dr. George at the Sebastian Highlands Animal Hospital was onboard from the start. Dr. George, his colleagues, and the great staff at the Highlands Animal Hospital have been crucial to the rescue of these dogs by helping raise funds, as well as discounting the medical needs of these animals. Without my incredible foster families, the help of Highlands Animal Hospital and many generous donations, I would have never been able to help over 189 animals live another day. My life is a busy one. I work part time at The Tides Restaurant and am a mother to my beautiful daughter and rescue partner, Lillie, and my seven month old son, Luke. Nevertheless, I try to help as many animals as I can make it out of these horrible shelters alive. The process from start to finish is a long one, requiring a great deal of thought and effort. After organizing transport, the dogs need a 14-day quarantine-boarding period to ensure any sicknesses is out of their system. A wonderful foster home holds on to them until a final home can be found. The expense of the whole operation can take a toll. Some of the dogs have been heartworm positive, some have been injured, some need to be neutered/ spayed and others need shots or antibiotics. I try to donate one night’s worth of work per week to my cause, but that’s nowhere near enough to help. To sponsor an animal, donations are accepted at Highlands Animal Hospital or at the address listed below. Interested in being a foster family and saving a life? I’d love to hear from you! There is no better feeling than the genuine love these neglected dogs immediately have for you. They seem to know you’ve saved their lives. Gena Weiss Rescue A 501(c)(3) non-profit P.O. Long Live the Dog Days of Summer

S

ummer is finally here! It is time for water sports, relaxing on the beach, summer trips, and having fun with the kids and our pets. Our pets, especially dogs, enjoy beach activities but are as exposed to the summer heat as we are. They too get hot and crave the coolness of the water. Many times they will ingest salty sea water, eat the salty sand, chew on seaweed, and even let curiosity get the best of them and lick a jelly fish, all of which can cause side effects that may need veterinary assistance. Heat exposure in general is an issue that can lead to serious complications. Excess exercise in the high heat of the day can cause heat stroke. Remember to delay playful games with pets until cooler times of the day. We would never intentionally leave our babies in the car, and this rule is just as important with our pets. Even short periods of time in the car can cause heat stroke that can lead to serious complications and potential death for our pets. Shade and fresh water should always be available and this is particularly important during the summer. If your pet does get too hot, call your veterinarian immediately for assistance. Many of us will take our pets on summer trips. They often enjoy traveling as much as we enjoy having them with us. There are some important reminders for you to be aware of prior to leaving town. If your pet is on medication make sure you have adequate amounts to last the entire length of the trip, including heartworm preventatives prescribed by your veterinarian. Be aware of diseases endemic to the area being visited. For example, the northeastern states can be problematic with Lyme disease, which is spread by ticks. Your pets should be protected with an appropriate tick preventative that is recommended by your veterinarian. There is also a vaccine available for Lyme disease that can be administered by your veterinarian to help protect your pet from this disease. Discussion with your veterinarian about diseases endemic to the area your family is visiting and what immunization or flea and tick preventative is needed is recommended. If you decide your pet would be happier left here in town, remember By Dr. C.B. Johnson, DVM and Dr. Marjorie J. Williams, DVM, MS, DACVP Indian River Animal Hospital

to make a boarding reservation and ensure your pet is current on all vaccinations. Boarding facilities will require a list of your pet vaccinations prior to their stay. We hope these helpful reminders will allow you and your pets to have a cool, happy, and safe summer!

eat shop play beach safety Cover model: Emma Floyd

BE AWARE OF TIDES: Always be aware of the tides when you are at the beach. Respect the ocean and stay safe. TAKE YOUR TRASH OFF THE BEACH: Remove all your trash from the beach. Find a trash can! Plastic bags can kill birds, turtles, and other sea creatures that can mistake the bag for food. Bring extra trash bags with you and do your part to help keep the beach beautiful. Love your ocean! SUPERVISE CHILDREN: Stay near your children and keep your eye on them. Never let children play in the water unsupervised. Play close to a lifeguard station. Teach your child to respect the ocean too. BE AWARE OF DANGEROUS RIP TIDES: Rip tides are strong currents that can pull a person away from the shore. If you get caught in a rip current, do not panic or struggle. Swim parallel to the beach and call for help. Never swim alone. Don’t swim out farther than you can swim back. It’s always best to swim near a lifeguard station. REPORT INJURED BIRDS OR MAMMALS: If you find an injured bird or mammal, do not touch it. Call 911 (non-emergency) and they will notify the proper authorities. Respect the Wildlife: Remember to do the “Stingray Shuffle” when entering shallow water to warn any stingrays that you’re coming

into their territory! It’s always a good idea to keep a small bottle of vinegar in your beach bag to quickly treat jellyfish stings. If snorkeling, be sure not to stand on or touch any reefs or wrecks. Respecting the wildlife helps ensure a successful beach day. LIFEGUARDS: Several places throughout the county offer lifeguarded beaches. At each station, signs are available to notify beach goers of current surf conditions along with appropriate beach flag warnings.

horoscope

Finally, after a few very stressful and pressure packed months, July and August will feel like a cool breeze on a hot sticky day. A sense of relief and opportunity is in the air for all. Enjoy your summer! ARIES: Talk about a good time! Your focus in July and August is on home and family. Finally some green lights after months and months of feeling stalled. Loving Venus will pass into Leo, your fire sign cousin, on August 12th. Then a week later she will meet up with benevolent Jupiter. Enjoy these good times!

LIBRA: After months of careful planning, in mid-July you will be experiencing some kind of pay off. Your social calendar will be quite busy in August. It’s time for you to throw a summer party. After the New Moon on August 25th you might need to clear the decks and remove anyone or anything that no longer serves your highest good.

TAURUS: Things seem to be percolating in the financial sector of your chart. Whatever has been nagging at you with regards to money should be resolved by mid-July. When it comes to family matters, it seems like many parties and family gatherings are in the works. You have been so worried about money but it’s time to play this summer.

SCORPIO: Everything for you this summer is about expanding your horizons. You have been doing a lot of planning and now it is time for action. You have pretty much had it up to your ears with certain situations. Scorpios have a lot of quiet power. In August, someone might take notice of just how amazing you really are.

GEMINI: Stick with what is familiar this July. Any big urges to make a sweeping change will be met with resistance. August is a totally different story. Everything is about being primed and ready to go! Travel, romance, perhaps a big move...it’s all possible this summer. CANCER: The Full Moon on July 12th, in your opposite sign of Capricorn, will force you to express whatever needs to be expressed. You have been juggling so many balls in the air. Now it’s time to realize you don’t have to tackle everything on your own. Go out and have some down time and fun (have you forgotten what that is?) especially in early August. LEO: On July 1st, when Mercury goes direct, you will feel like you have moved into the fast lane. Leo’s love to be out and about. However, your friends have been noticing you’ve been more introverted lately. You just needed some down time. That is over. August seems to be a month of either a brewing new romance or recharging of an existing relationship. VIRGO: You always try to do the best you possibly can. No one is better at handling a task than a Virgo. But this July and August, you are being asked to actually be a little selfish and start putting yourself first. Try taking a real vacation and get away from work for more than a few days. You need it.

Written by Leslie McGuirk www.luckystarsastrology.com, www.lesliemcguirk.com 62 July-August 2014

SAGITTARIUS: Mid-July brings energy that will be directed towards intimate partners. If you are married, make sure you extend yourself to your mate as much as possible. For those of you who are single, this would be a good time to make sure you are not sitting at home alone. You might feel like a restless racehorse in August, but if all that energy is channeled correctly, you’ll have some dandy summer fun! CAPRICORN: Your stoic little goat-self needs to avoid manipulative and controlling people in July. You know what you are doing so tell them to mind their own business. In August, it is time for you to take a serious break. You will be gifted with the Astrological formula for fun, so take advantage. AQUARIUS: In mid-July, you and your other air signs (Gemini and Libra) are really going to enjoy the astrological weather. On August 10th there is a Full Moon in your own sign. Draw your attention back to getting into shape. Change your habits and get ready to have more doors open for your future happiness. PISCES: Full Moons always bring emotions to the surface, and for you, July 12th brings warm weather passion. You still have some health issues to deal with in August. Just get everything fixed that needs to be fixed. The end of August has you in a highly activated mode, and you will feel like change is in the air. Flow with the currents, and keep your focus on your deepest heart desires. Remember it is only with a full Astrological reading (based on your birthdate, exact time, and place of birth) that Astrology can be truly accurate. www.portfolio-verobeach.com
