VOLUNTEER ROLES LARGE GROUP LEADERS Worship Team: Leads children and Small Group Leaders in a fun and meaningful time of worship through music Tech Team: Works together to provide audio, video, and computer graphics support
SMALL GROUP LEADERS Small Group Leader: Becomes the primary model or teacher for a group of up to ten kids; stays with the same group all week; encourages spiritual growth, relationships, discussion, and other Small Group activities.
REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN Greeters: Greets and helps with check-in/registration process; explains the security procedures Registration Team: Organizes registration; collects information on each family; inputs data if needed
ACTIVITY LEADERS Music: Oversees preparation and setup of music class; downloads all needed music, dance motions videos, and graphics; enlists the help of the tech team; trains volunteers to help teach the music class Missions: Oversees preparation and setup of missions area; works with Intern to determine the missions focus for the week and implement the missions curriculum Crafts: Oversees preparation and setup of craft area; facilitates craft activities; manages and trains craft helpers Games: Oversees preparation and setup of the game area; facilitates games with each group of kids; manages and trains game helpers Snacks: Organizes all food and kitchen supplies needed for the snacks; oversees preparation and setup of snack area; facilitates snack activities; manages and trains snack helpers; ensures that good hygiene is maintained
LUNCHTIME SUPERVISORS Supervise younger kids (SK-Gr 2) in Rm 213, and older kids (Gr 3-5) in Rm 210 during lunch hour; ensure that Plan To Protect procedures are followed for bathroom breaks; set up movies for kids to watch during lunchtime; clean up areas after lunch break.
BEFORE/AFTER CAMP CARE Oversee actvities from 8-8:45 am, and/or from 4-6 pm, in Rm 130/131.
