Bouchon

Length: 150 feet. Max speed: 20 knots. Bouchon, French for “cork,” is named for Charles R. “Cork” Walgreen III, the former CEO and Chairman of Walgreens and the late husband of the yacht’s current owner, Kathleen Walgreen. Kathleen has mostly stayed out of the news, but following the death of their son, Tad, in 1996, she and her husband fought a vicious custody battle over their grandchildren against their daughter-in-law, Loren. Built by American shipyard Trinity Yachts in 2002 and refitted in 2017, the Bouchon is built with a semi-displacement hull that makes it extra seaworthy and allows it to move through the water at exceptional speeds.
