After school programs follow the Portland Public School (PPS) district calendar. They do not operate on PPS non-school days.

Portland Parks & Recreation after school programs offer healthy, active, and engaging recreational and educational activities. We are an “unplugged” program, which means while your child is with us, they do not play video games, or watch television or movies (except for the occasional special event). Our schedule is varied and includes a combination of active recreation, quiet homework time and support, arts and crafts, educational experiences and free choice activities.

Looking for fun? We’re the place! Join us for action packed games, homework assistance, crafts, and supervised activities to capture the interest of any child while promoting self-esteem and social skills! This program is sure to brighten any day!
