Little Big Tennis
Age 4–5

A fun, high energy tennis class specifically designed to introduce the game of tennis through comfortable. Teacher/ child on court interactions, creative tennis games, instruction, and play. Children will build there athletic skills, socialization skills, hand eye coordination, balance, agility, and footwork, receiving modified stroke instruction for the fundamental swing patterns from our USPTA / USPTR Certified Tennis Professionals.
Little Big Shots
Age 6–7
This class will focus on building tennis fundamentals, athletic and agility skills, with an emphasis on fun, and establishing a lifelong love for the sport of tennis. Players will work on their serve, backhand, forehand, volleys, and overheads as well as important topics like sportsmanship, tennis etiquette, tennis rules and scoring, in an introductory process to match play.
Silver
Specifically designed for younger players to focus on more advanced movement, agility, racquet preparations, rallies, placement, recreational competition and point play for singles and doubles. Players will continue to work on fundamentals, but should already know how to score, and be comfortable with the basic serve, ground strokes, volleys and overhead fundamentals.
Bronze: All levels/beginning– Advanced beginning Silver, Gold, Diamond: Enrollment by instructor recommendation or evaluation only.
Bronze
Specifically designed for students to learn the game of tennis through simplified stroke demonstrations, athletic footwork, hand eye coordination drills, fun games, and lots of non competitive tennis play to develop the entire athlete. Players will learn the fundamentals of tennis.
Age 8–11
Bronze JV
Age 14–18
For high school athletes who are looking to learn the game of tennis and potentially play on their JV high school tennis team. Specifically designed for students to learn the game of tennis through simplified stroke demonstrations, athletic footwork, hand eye coordination drills, fun games, and lots of noncompetitive tennis play to develop the entire athlete.
Silver JV
Age 14–18
Specifically designed to develop and equip current JV high school players or a player at an equivalent level, to compete for the top of their respective JV team and to prepare each player to potentially compete for a spot on their varsity high school tennis team.

Gold 1
Age 8–15
For Juniors that are currently playing USTA Entry Level tournaments. All players or a player at an equivalent level, to compete for the top of their respective JV team and to prepare each player to potentially compete for a spot on their varsity high school tennis team.
Gold 2
Age 8–18
For juniors that have already played USTA Entry Level tournaments and a re currently playing USTA Intermediate tournaments and/or play on their Varsity Tennis Team. All players need to be level equivalent to a low advanced level of play, committed to playing USTA Sanctioned tournaments, aspire to play USTA Advanced tournaments and when eligible, play varsity high school tennis.

For Juniors that are currently playing USTA advanced tournaments and have a USTA ranking. All players need to be level equivalent to an advanced level of play, committed to playing USTA sanctioned advanced tournaments regularly, aspire to play college tennis, and are a top player on their high school tennis team.

All Level Weekend Play
PTC is proud to partner with KidsNTennis, the Greater Portland Tennis Council, and USTA Rec Tennis to provide weekend opportunities for all levels to participate, play, and learn more about tennis. We hope to see you on the court! Racquets provided.

Kids N’ Tennis, Inc. is open to any children who are interested in learning how to play tennis and could benefit from an excellent coaching staff of certified tennis teaching professionals. Kids can attend our free summer camps at Irving Park or participate in yearround lessons at the Portland Tennis Center, Saturday mornings from 8:00–10:30am.
