LAST MATCH RECAP The Timbers battled the New England Revolution to a 1-1 draw on April 27, earning a hard-fought road point at Gillette Stadium and extending their unbeaten run against New England to four games, dating back to the 2013 MLS campaign. One of four MLS teams to record a goal in each game this season, the Timbers opened the scoring in the 64th minute when midfielder Darlington Nagbe drifted a cross toward the back post for midfielder Jack Barmby, whose first-time volley bounced into the back of the net.
Providence Park opened on April 14, 2011, in front of a sold-out crowd in the Timbers first-ever home match as an MLS team. The club proceeded to sell out all of its regular-season home games in the team’s first five MLS seasons. Spanning the 2013 and 2014 seasons, the Timbers compiled an MLS-club record 22-game unbeaten streak (12-0-10) at Providence Park from April 6, 2013 to June 1, 2014. The streak ranks as the third-longest all-time in MLS history.
