LAST MATCH RECAP Behind a brace from forward Fanendo Adi and assists from Darlington Nagbe, Rodney Wallace and Diego Valeri, the Timbers earned a 2-1 win on the road against Columbus Crew SC in front of a sellout crowd of 22,719 fans at MAPFRE Stadium on Saturday evening in Columbus, Ohio. The victory marked Portland’s first-ever road win against Crew SC. Portland’s attack caused Columbus problems from the start, while Adi tallied his fourth multi-goal game this season with a goal in each half. The Timbers opened the scoring in the 28th minute before Crew SC leveled the match in the 43rd minute. Portland’s defense limited Columbus in the final 45 minutes, surrendering just one shot on target and Adi tallied the eventual game-winning goal in the 50th minute, receiving assists from Wallace and Valeri in the goal-scoring sequence.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME Providence Park opened on April 14, 2011, in front of a sold-out crowd in the Timbers first-ever home match as an MLS team. The club proceeded to sell out all of its regular-season home games in the team’s first four MLS seasons. Spanning the 2013 and 2014 seasons, the Timbers compiled an MLS-club record 22-game unbeaten streak (12-0-10) at Providence Park from April 6, 2013 to June 1, 2014. The streak ranks as the third-longest all-time in MLS history.
