PGMAG: Mira, you are welcome to today's interview with Lady Anita.
MW: It is an enormous pleasure to be interviewed by you Lady Anita and thank you for this privilege.
PGMAG: You are one woman with an incredible story. Please introduce yourself to our readers.
MW: My name is Mira and I am a nurse, entrepreneur, author, student of coaching at Jay Shetty Certification School and I live in the West of London. I am a wife to my husband, Kris, a mother to my daughter, Klaudia, a grandmother to my grandaughter, Gaia, a sister to my brothers Anton and Dariusz, and a daughter to my beloved mum, Janina. I have been a member of Voices of Joy - A living book featured on Youtube and a board member of the I Care Children Foundation and ambassador of peace appointed by the World Institute for Peace in Nigeria. . Humanitarian work is also at the core of my existence. I am also the co-author of Voices of Hope by Brenda Dempsey. I'm very passionate about writing and helping others. My next project will be a book collaboration - Rainbow Letters to Mother Earth by Chrisola Sirigou, a response to the planet in Crisis caused by climate change and rising mental health issues. The aim of this project will be to help 100 young people aged 5-19 become published authors in 2021.
PGMAG: Our research shows that at age of 39, you took a life-changing decision. Today you are a success story. What is your message for those who are afraid to step out of their comfort zone.
MW:
Try to make a space for that inner calling to get through. Meditation is a great way to quiet our mind and to hear our thoughts, feel our feelings, and read the messages that the Universe is sending to us. Surrender and trust in that support, while staying loyal to yourself and your dreams. Give yourself permission to do what your heart sings about.
PGMAG: One thing I can attribute to you is 'Gratitude'. You are always grateful for even the slightest act of kindness offered to you. Why is important to cultivate the habit of being grateful - Especially in today's world.
MW: I stand up for gratitude, love, peace, and kindness as great fillers of the wheel of life that should guide this world in a better direction. Humankind is at the beginning of a new era, with another human being at the heart of everything we do. The positive change is possible as long as we serve others from the position of an open and non-judgemental heart. A kind word and a smile does not cost a penny and can make such a difference to other people's lives. We do not walk in their shoes but we can make their journey easier or more bearable by the way we treat them. There is no peace without kindness.
PGMAG: When you decided to move to UK - Not knowing what the future holds for you, what was your driving force to keep moving forward.
MW: My family is my biggest WHY. My calling is to serve my family and others, utilizing all my skills and gifts. I left Poland as a single mum of my teenage daughter, Klaudia. Making a better life for her was my driving force. I was also curious to see what the big world can offer to me, and how this may feel to break free from the stereotype of narrow and parochial thinking, the way I was brought up in a catholic Poland. I wanted to see life out of that box, and its true colors, making connections with people from all over the world.
PGMAG: Please tell us about your new book and how it could benefit our readers.
MW: I am so happy and grateful to be one of the 11 co-authors of the Rebirth by Sandra Stachowicz, a book created by amazing and passionate women who share their true-life stories with readers worldwide to inspire them by being authentic and vulnerable, show we have that inner power to overcome difficult life circumstances and to rebirth from ashes, whatever those ashes were made of. This book has achieved the status of number 1 Amazon bestseller in the UK, USA, and Canada.
PGMAG: If you knew what you know now, what would you do differently.
MW: I would have taken the risk to explore the life possibilities with greater courage and faith, believing in the process, whilst paying attention to my gut feelings. First and foremost, I would have loved myself more as self-awareness and self-love is a very important aspect of commencing on the journey to our dreams.
PGMAG: What are some of the lessons you have gotten from the year 2020.
MW: The biggest lesson I have got from the year 2020 is to remain open to blessings that come from being grateful for everything that we have in our life. Those blessings can be presented to us in the form of ideas, possibilities, good health, and people that appear on our life pathway. When I was sick with COVID-19 I had found comfort in meditation and prayer. The connection with the Universe has helped me to go through.
This year has shown me the power of integrity that comes from the united hearts and open minds. We can allow the fear to take over our life, feelings, and the way we think or we can do whatever it takes to acquire a courageous heart and be the change-makers.
PGMAG: What would you say to your younger self.
MW: Believe in yourself, when you believe in yourself, miracles happen.
PGMAG: Mira, it has been an absolute pleasure to have served you today. I wish you more success in your future endeavors.
MW: Thank you so much Lady Anita for having me, you truly are a change maker, it is a pleasure to follow in your footsteps, you are such an inspiration to me, and most definitely others around you.
