OM: OMAX Institute allows me to educate and equip all those who are willing to make their best better though learning how to start their own business, strengthen their business through best practices, improve customer service, establishing culture and climate through diversity training, workforce development and administration, professional development that includes developing who they are as a leader and working with their staff to increase employee morale, attract and retain quality and qualified staff, communication and synergy through the organization.

PGMAG: Obioma, you are The CEO/Founder of OMARTWomen Supporting Women a not for-profit. Please tell us more about your amazing organization?

OM: The vision and mission of OMART Women Supporting Women is to empower women

all over the globe to succeed above industry standards in the area of business, relationships, and parenting. I had my first child at 16, I moved out at 18 as soon as I graduated high school. I worked full time and was in school full time. I rented a room because I could not afford an apartment. My daughter father was a sperm donor. I failed out of college my first year because I was over whelmed. I made a promise to God and myself at 18 to help single moms and teen parents by providing them with affordable safe housing first and foremost and then skills that would help them in the workforce by going back to school obtaining their high school diploma or GED and then starting a career or preferably their own business.

PGMAG: What makes your services unique?

OM: I have always provided services rooted in what I needed. Once I learned how to navigate the welfare system, college system workforce system, political system, not for profit system and education system I said to myself I'm going to educate, equip, empower, and educate other woman. The struggle did not feel good and I'm committed to being the voice for the voiceless. My story may not be different from others but my journey and authenticity is what makes my services unique. I live, eat and breathe literally everything that I do and say.

PGMAG: Obioma, please tell readers about B.R.E.A.T.H.E.- Empowered to Live a StressFree Life, a Book and journal? OM: I journaled my way out of depression, heartbreak, suicide, captivity and despair. I was battered and abused, literally left for dead on many occasions throughout my life starting early in my childhood from molestation, to alcoholism, to being a mistress, to surviving an abusive and toxic marriage for 18 years to now being a single mom of 4 children who have had and has special needs requiring either an IEP or 504 plan to accommodate them in the classroom. All of this was stressful and on many occasions had me feeling like life was not worth living for www.powerhouseglobalmag.com

www.powerhouseglobalmag.com me or my children. On many occasions questioning my very existence and feeling like God why have you abandoned me? Why is this my life? Why I keep going in cycles? Why can't I get a break? Why can't I be in a relationship with a man or woman that loves me with the agape love of the Lord and have no agenda to destroy me, my family, my business, my children and my name?

PGMAG: Obioma, what can we expect from you in 2020?

OM: I'm committed to serving more people in 2020, I have transformed the lives of over 5000 woman since 2005 and counting. I am clear that I am called to help all those who are in captivity which includes trauma, abuse, toxic relationships, self harm, depression, brokenness etc.

I had so many why"s. I started reading, journaling, and praying. The more I read, my faith begin to increase, the more I journaled my feelings, I started seeing a change in me. I started changing as I began to renew my mind with the Word of God. The stress started to fade away because for the first time I started getting clarity and learning about who I was in Christ.

Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV) says Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. My path became stress free because I stopped leaning to my own understanding and I started trusting in God. The areas of my focus are Education, and Empowerment. Readers can join me and my phenomenal sister friends in June 5-7 for my annual B.R.E.A.T.H.E Conference taking place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania tickets can be purchased at www. obiomaevents.com.
