POWERHOUSE GLOBAL MAGAZINE (PGMAG) INTERVIEW WITH: KEARN CHERRY (KC)

My background is in healthcare to include a degree in Occupational Therapy. I am the cofounder and director of Success Women's Conference which has over 1,000 attendees.

PGMAG: Who is Kearn Cherry?

KC: I am a collaborator and master connector. I am also a speaker, entrepreneur, coach, event developer and author. I am the co-owner with my husband of PRN Home Care which is 23 years old. My background is in healthcare to include a degree in Occupational Therapy. I am the co-founder and director of Success Women's Conference which has over 1,000 attendees. I love giving which is why I am very active in my community. I am a mother of three adult children who are doing amazing things and I have one grandchild.

PGMAG: Kearn, you are The Visionary Author of your new book anthology "Trail Blazers Who Lead" please tell us more

about this amazing project?

KC: The purpose of this project is to allow the unsung Trailblazer to be heard. To show others that with “grit” and determination anything can be done. To spotlight people throughout the world who are doing great things. There will be 30 inspiring individuals who lead courageously. They are Passionate, Collaborative, Disruptive and a Visionary. "Trailblazers Who Lead" is projected to be released early May 2020. The book signing will be at the Power Up Summit. you to create this book collaboration to bring Trail Blazers all over the world together? What do you want readers to get from this amazing stories?

KC: I wanted to highlight individuals who are really doing some amazing things, but it's in silent. It's time to share their story and bring it to light. I want readers to recognize what these ladies are doing to impact the world. Let others know that what they are doing needs to be shared too.

PGMAG: Kearn, you have a Power Up Summit which will be held May 29-31, 2020 in New Orleans, LA. Please tell us more about your conference and how we can support and purchase tickets?

KC: My goal is to bring people together and provide optimal wisdom, encouragement and resources. I believe that many individuals like speakers, coaches and entrepreneurs are

PGMAG: Kearn, please tell us more about your amazing women who are going to share their stories in your Book Collaboration?

KC: Though it is not a project just for women, our coauthors are women. They are doing amazing things in their community, work, ministries and more. They are teachers, career women, servant leaders, nurses, pageant queen, singers, attorneys, mental health providers, speakers, coaches and more. Several women are business owners or their own non-profit organizations.

PGMAG: Kearn, what does collaboration over competition mean to you? KC: Success Women's Conference will be September 10-12, 2020. I am also kicking off my radio/podcast show. I will be working with some of my nursing friends on bringing a new project too.

As a person who create events, I will also be speaking on some of my specialty such as how to "Put Butts in the Seats" and "Getting Sponsors". Other presentations like "How to Pitch Yourself", "Getting Booked as a Corporate Speaker", "Creating Streams of Revenue", branding, social media and more.

If you are interested in speaking, sponsorship, vendor, KC: Collaborations are built from relationships so start networking. I do believe it's good to be competitive. It encourages you to push yourself, but collaborations stretches you to make real connections. Then both can benefit through collaborations.
