Optima Group

Dr Stefan Koenig, managing director of the Optima packaging group since 2021, has taken over responsibility for the Optima Nonwovens business unit from ceo Hans Buehler to enhance co-operation between all the units that supply machines and services for the consumer goods markets. The md roles of Dr Georg Pfeifer and Oliver Rebstock at Optima Nonwovens are unchanged.

Lan Handling

Christiaan van Terheijden has joined Lan Handling Technologies as its ceo to grow the business further and to realise the company’s ambitious development plans. He joins from a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, where he achieved profitable sales growth and innovation-driven business transformations.

Allied Vision

Robert Franz has joined Allied Vision, part of the TKH Group as its ceo and will also assume the ceo role for the German 2D vision companies within the organisation.

Dr Graham Hoare OBE has taken over from Dr Clive Hickman OBE as the ceo of the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), following Hickman’s move to chair the MTC.

CKF Systems

Ian Newton has joined CKF Systems to broaden the projects department team. He brings more than 30 years of engineering and automation experience to his new role.

Ryan Brett has joined Industrial Labelling Systems (ILS) as business development/ project manager and is responsible for the new website launch and for leading marketing promotions as well as supporting the sales and customer service teams.

Ian Wright has joined TÜV SÜD UK’s machinery division as its new chief engineer, bringing more than 30 years’ experience to the position.

Domino

Jessica Büttner is now the group environmental impact manager at Domino Printing Sciences, a new role created as part of the company’s focus on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability. She will work with the senior leadership team to progress the CSR strategy and take responsibility for assessing the lifecycle of Domino’s products. As part of her role, she will be collaborating with customers so Domino can deliver reliable, responsible solutions to drive out waste.

Nmis

Jacqui Murray is the new coo at the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) as it prepares to open a new facility. Stephen Fitzpatrick takes on the new role of director – NMIS digital factory at the same time.
