Baird Wellness Center 33783
Located in the Freemasons Cultural Center, the Baird Wellness Center offers an array of cardiovascular and strength equipment, functional training, personal training and group fitness classes. Massage therapy and wellness workshops on mind, body and spirit are also offered.
Open daily, from 5 a.m. – 9 p.m. Staff are available Mon. – Fri., 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Group exercise classes are broadcast on MVTV Monday through Friday, in the morning.
Please pay and purchase punch cards at the Baird Wellness Center. Punch cards are a way to pay as you attend classes. You will receive the option of attending 10 classes per punch card, and punch cards are available for $35 each. For questions, call 717-361-5699.

A low impact Pilates and yoga fusion class designed to strengthen core muscles, improve posture and encourage flexibility in both joints and muscles. We will focus on proper body alignment for improved balance, and this class will also help increase focus and mind-body connection. Please note: we will be on our wrists and knees for certain exercises and will transition from standing to the floor during class. Open to beginners, and modifications are offered throughout class to meet your fitness level.

Flohr Pool - Open Pool Time
MONDAY – THURSDAY, 1 – 4 P.M.
Participants must show their MVP card for entry to the pool and swipe in with the key tag issued by the Baird Wellness Center. Capacity is eight people in the water. Pool water is heated to 90 degrees for additional comfort and includes a 6-foot deep well. Spa is heated to 100 degrees.

2023 Lancaster Senior Games
Since starting in 1989, thousands of athletes have participated in the Lancaster Senior Games, and we want to add you to that list! At the games, Lancaster County residents, ages 55 and over, participate in a variety of sporting events and recreation activities, competing for medals within various age brackets.
The 2023 Senior Games will be held May 1 – 5 at Spooky Nook Sports. Registration will be held March 4 – April 8. You can pick up a registration form at the Clubhouse Information Desk or the GLH Transportation Desk. Please return the registration form and fee to the Activities Office by April 8 (checks payable to “Lancaster Area Office of Aging”).

Ballroom Da Ncing L Essons
Have you ever wanted to learn ballroom dancing or wish to hone your skills with an instructor? Two professional instructors, Cindy and Douglass Rapp, of Ironstone Bridge Studio, are willing to teach an evening series of classes in the Brossman Ballroom if we have a commitment from at least 30 participants.
Group classes would be held weekly: one hour lesson followed by an hour of dance practice for a fee of $15 per person/$30 per couple. Residents (and employees) who may be interested in learning or practicing basic ballroom, smooth Latin and swing may contact Liz Grosh at ext. 39930.
