Enjoy this informative and interesting tour of the Masonic Village grounds. The tour will be conducted by resident Joe Fink. You will remain on the bus throughout the tour. This tour is designed for new residents or for those who have not had the opportunity to take a tour previously.

When you add the musical inspirations of Tracy Dietrich and Cindy Wittenberg, Silver, Wood and Ivory transform into a celestial musical journey. This two-person orchestra of classically trained artists have fashioned a tapestry of music that stirs the soul. This concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. and is located at the Lancaster Church of the Brethren.

This show presented by Jim Curry was scheduled to conclude the 86th concert season, but COVID-19 forced it to be postponed. But now, Jim is back! Jim’s looks and voice coincidentally capture the true essence of John Denver’s music in his amazing tribute performance. Enjoy hits like “Rocky Mountain High,” “Annie’s Song” and “Calypso” that fill the room with countless memories of days gone by. This concert is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Lebanon High School.

Purse-A-Palooza Event at the Zembo Shrine

Zembo Shrine’s 11th Annual Purse-A-Palooza is a fun-filled afternoon that includes a purse raffle, along with hors d’oeuvres, cash bar with wine and beer and a marketplace of direct sale vendors to allow you to shop until you drop. Your $30 donation will not only enter you in a drawing to win one of several prizes (with an approximate total retail value of $5,000) but will also provide you entry to the marketplace with free refreshments. The list of purses is too numerous to mention, and also included are five $100 cash prizes. You do not need to be present except to win cash prizes. RSVP by April 28.

Bird-in-Hand Stage Presents: “Dear Soldier Boy” - A Feel Good Musical Comedy

It’s 1990 and Iraq has just invaded Kuwait. War is contrary to Amish ways, but Anna King wants to do something to help America’s troops, so she and her feisty friend and coworker Sofia volunteer to write letters of encouragement to the troops. Anna just wants to be a blessing. Sofia just wants to find a husband. It’s all fine until the lonely pen pals get weekend passes and show up to surprise the girls at work. All on the same day. This new musical comedy, written by Martha Bolton, with original songs by Wally Nason, is the latest in a long line of wholesome, Broadway-caliber shows from Blue Gate Musicals set in the heart of Amish Country. This show is sure to bring a smile to your face. After the show, you will enjoy a delicious all-youcan-eat buffet, which includes a variety of seafood entrées. The show is scheduled from 1 – 4 p.m. Cost includes the show and buffet. RSVP by April 11.

Tour of the Masonic Temple in Philadelphia & lunch with Grand Master Jeffrey M. Wonderling in the Grand Ballroom.

Are You or Someone You Know a Korean War Military Veteran?

The Quilts of Valor ® Foundation (QOVF) appreciates the service and sacrifice of those who are serving or or who have served in the Armed Forces, protecting our freedoms.

This year, you may nominate a Korean War veteran living at Masonic Village to receive one of the patriotic Quilts of Valor as part of a ceremony during the Veterans Social, which will be held May 3.

Nominees may include any service member or living veteran who served in one of the following branches: Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force or Coast Guard. Members of the activated National Guard and activated or active duty-special work (ADSW) reservists who served during the Korean War conflict are included. To be eligible for a Quilt of Valor, one must have served in the war zone.
