Founded in 1998, the Mennonite Children’s Choir of Lancaster began as a choir of 31 singers but has grown to include auditioned and non-auditioned choral opportunities for over 150 children, kindergarten through grade 12. The Chamber Choir for this concert consists of students from grades nine through 12. The singers represent a variety of churches, schools and communities across Lancaster, Lebanon and Chester counties. They have had the opportunity to perform in 15 states and five other countries, as well as for the local community. The organization’s mission is to train children and youth to glorify Jesus Christ through excellent choral singing and to develop musical excellence and discipline, equipping them for a lifetime of worship and service to the Christian community. Their goal is to pass along their singing heritage through Christ-centered repertoire that affirms Anabaptist beliefs and reflects the musical diversity of the church around the world and through time.
Brossman Ballroom
Rizzetta’s Tones is a Celtic and Folk band, comprised of “fraternal twin” hammer dulcimers, silver flute, high and low whistles and guitars. They often spice up their sound with button accordion, autoharp, Greek bouzouki, mandolin and ukulele, as well as doumbek, cajón, djembe and other percussion instruments (yes, even frogs!). Their repertoire includes music from Ireland, Scotland and the United States, drawing as well from the traditions of Finland, Brazil, France, Macedonia and many other lands. Forging new arrangements and writing their own material, they present audiences with a pleasing twist while respecting musical traditions.

The alternative to praise, “Blank,” energizes, fortifies boosts, and inspires people. Join Dr. Robert Tauber, resident, as he discusses how to change your views about praise. This is a two-part class. The second part of the class will take place on Tuesday, April 19, at 10 a.m., in the Keystone Room. Call ext. 14509 to register.

Pick-up: 11:30 a.m. Return: 2:30 p.m. Cost of Lunch/Beer
Cox Brewing Company (CBC) is an independent, veteran-owned and operated 10-beer barrel brewery. It opened in 2015 with a homemade one-beer barrel system (which is still used for experimental/small batch brewing) in a single bay garage tucked away off the beaten path. For five years, this garage was also a public taproom. On Sept 5, 2020, they moved the public taproom from the village of Rheems to 50 Veterans Drive in Elizabethtown to expand to a larger space and named it CBC’s Rally Point Taproom. Nick Cox and Tim Kreider, both veterans, started brewing in 2006, and after nearly a decade of weekend batches, these “brothers” have shared an appreciation for craft beer. Enjoy lunch from and a few of Nick and Tim’s famous crafted beer flights, which is a sampling of several craft beers or beverage of choice. Lunch will be available from Pizza Town.
