Beat The Heat

“Traveling the path of duties under the shades of sun, is as arduous as a creature in the constant gaze of obedience”

Stepping against the odds of the weather, Rotract club of Welingkar put forward a refreshment donation drive for the one who put forth the best step possible in order to grant us all the facilities required in the transit of our duties. The club, collaborated with ELCITA & the team on 6th June 2021, Monday, with an aim to make this time little bearable with some refreshments, and a smile filled with gratitude, towards the staff members, across varied duties of helpers, sweepers, watchman and some street labours as well, who stand still in the unbearable heat of summers to bring the efficiency in the level of traffic across the busy streets of Bengaluru, and the one who enable this functioning possible through their hard work in the backend.

With the necessary permissions, and constant support of the ELCITA team, the club members were able to distribute the units to the desired people at there respected locations using the transport facility extended by the ELCITA team for a phenomenal execution of the drive, throughout the day.

A sum of 130 units was distributed, denoting the successful accomplishment of the event, that lead to a spark of happiness and enthusiasm in all of them as well as the members of the club who wish to extend a heartful of grateful to everyone who works tirelessly in the extreme conditions to make all our living a happier and an efficient one. Also, a wishful regard to ELCITA and the team for their constant support, and we also aim to bridge this collaboration further for most such events.
