Colour As the form depicts sharing and knowledge, I chose to use a colour that could depict hope, the colour yellow was chosen to evoke a sense of sunrise as a symbol of hope.
Yellow Yellow, the color of sunshine, hope, and happiness, has conflicting associations. On one hand yellow stands for freshness, happiness, positivity, clarity, energy, optimism, enlightenment, remembrance, intellect, honor, loyalty, and joy, but on the other, it represents cowardice and deceit. A dull or dingy yellow may represent caution, sickness, and jealousy.
Gradient The gradient colour is intended as the primary colour pallet, as the gradual deepening of the colour helps evoke sense of a rising sun. #FFDD17
#FBAF17
Flat The flat colour is a variant, to be used in situations where in the gradient cannot be reproduced. or the background itself has a gradient. #FCAF17

Poster Task was to create a set of 2 poster, where in the same concept in communicated verbally, as well as non verbally.
The Topic chosen for the task was plagiarism, my aim was to depict the current state of plagiarism, in a manner to show the scenario where in logos of famous brands a openly plagiarized for profit, work is stolen from every source, may it be visuals, content or code.
Plagiarism // The practice of taking someone else’s work or ideas and passing them off as one’s own.
There is nothing new under the sun, these words have never been as true as in our age with the galloping technology all mediums are available to cite, copy, or steal ones work. As Pablo Picaso once said, “Good artists copy, great artists steal” I aimed to showcase the effects and actions of Plagiarism.

Learning
While working on Word and Image I had the opportunity to relearn and apply a lot of the skills acquired in previous courses, and also the motivation to learn and acquire new skills such as digital illustration, semiotics etc. While having worked on Identity projects earlier, the new process of word and image association coupled with the skill of integration helped gain a completely new process to come up with an identity. The course provided an opportunity to make good on the mistakes committed in the course of image making. Such need of variety in exploration. This course also helped put into use a few of the research tools taught to us during research methodology.
